Hello guys…I am so sorry for the short chapter last time. I will try my very best to make this chapter longer. I am doing a lot of things lately so I don’t have the time to write. I am trying my best to upload since I received a lot of request to upload chapter 14 hehe. Thank you guys! I finally watched BEASTLY yesterday and it was awesome! They changed the ending part in the movie, but it’s still nice!

She seemed to ignore my previous statement and went out of my room. Great! I thought she wouldn't leave. I don't know why of all people, why her? One word: Why?
Chapter 14- Where is She?
Nathan’s POV
It’s been days since Trisha and I fought in the coffee shop. I can’t contact her. She doesn’t live next door anymore. What’s happening to her? She’s my best friend. We never kept secrets from each other.
No, Nathan. You just did! You just did that is why you’re not in good terms with Trisha. You’ve hurt her.
Well, yeah; but she did it to me too. I mean, Josh Carter? Seriously? She hated him before, she can’t possibly date him. He’s just going to hurt her. Trisha doesn’t deserve him.
Yeah right, and who does she deserve, you?
No, I’m with Alexis now. I know it sounds weird but without Trisha, my life seemed a little blank. I don’t know what’s happening to her lately. After Alexis asking me if I liked her in the coffee shop, I just don’t know what to answer. Of course I like her, she’s my best friend!
Well, if it’s that easy, why didn’t you answer right away?
I don’t know. I must be crazy that time. I was trapped in the middle. Alexis and Trisha might get the wrong idea if I immediately said yes.
Yeah, you are crazy. Imagine you are talking to me, aka yourself.
Whatever, I am not in the mood to argue. I just want to know where Trisha is right now, and I am going to apologize. I need to talk to her and fix this. She is my best friend and I don’t want things to change between us. Mom said Trisha finally found her mom that is why she needs to move, but why didn’t she leave any call or any information where is she living now? I hate this. I worry a lot for her. She should know that I am worrying and that she should tell me where she is.
Why? You practically ditched her after Alexis said yes to you. Face it, it was your fault she got closer to Josh. You pushed her away without you noticing.
I did not! Did I? No, I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it was still the same.
The same? You didn’t even check if she was able to go home safely the other night. That’s why you didn’t know that she wasn’t sleeping in her house that night but a Josh’s!
Shoot! Yeah! I forgot to check. I need to look for her as soon as possible and apologize. I can’t handle the guilt already. I don’t want to hurt her. I was so stupid not to notice that I was leaving her behind.
I don’t care what’s going to happen but I must have my best friend back.
“Hey, babe.” I heard Alexis said from my bedroom door.
Wow, she’s here. I was about to call her and tell her that I can’t come to our date today.
“Hi, Alexis, I was about to call you and tell you that I can’t come to our date today. I need to look for someone.”
She moved to my bed and sat beside me.
“Who babe? Trisha? Why do you need to look for her? She left you without saying anything.” She said while moving my head to face her.
She kissed me and I can’t reply to her question. We are making out in my bedroom. Good thing mom isn’t here today. When we finally stopped, Alexis started to tell me about this new stepbrother that she’s been telling me since last week.
“You know about this new stepbrother right?” she asked.
“Yeah, what about him? Is he trying to hit on you?” I asked while gritting my teeth.
“No, silly. I forgot to tell you tiny information about him.”
“Really, what?”
“He is Josh.”
“Josh who?”
“Josh as in Josh my ex boyfriend, and currently your best friend’s boyfriend.”
I won’t deny that I am boiling inside. I can’t believe how small the world is.
Are you angry because Alexis said she is going to have Josh as her new stepbrother or Trisha as his girlfriend?
Both. I don’t want the thought that Alexis and Josh are going to live on the same house. I don’t trust Josh. They’ve dated before and I don’t want them to get back together. I also don’t want the thought that Trish is dating Josh. I really loathe that fact. Or is it really a fact?
“Hey, Nate, why are you so quiet? Don’t worry, I don’t like him anymore. I want you.” She said then planting a kiss on my lips.
“I know that. I trust you, I just don’t trust him.” I said frankly.
“Well, there is nothing to worry about. I am dating you and Josh is dating Trisha.”
“That’s another problem he’s dating Trisha. I don’t want her to get hurt. I know Josh and I know that he’s just using her.”
“Why are you so pissed about them dating? Do you like Trisha?”
“No, I mean I like her as my friend and that’s it. I’m just worried about her. That’s all.”
“Okay, but I am getting pretty jealous.” She said
“No need to be jealous babe, if I liked Trisha, I should have asked her out before.”
“Well that’s true. Anyway babe the sports fest and the prom are coming. “
“Yup! I was wondering if you want to go to the prom with me, and if you can be my “lady” for the sports fest. I know that you are Josh’s before but I’m your boyfriend now.”
“Of course babe! It would be very weird to be with my stepbrother. Wow, we have a lot of things ahead of us. Do you want to come with me to the engagement party?”
“Of course! I would love to.”
