I'm about to open the front door to the apartment I share with my dad, brother and sister, when my phone rings. I look at the screen and seeing it's Niall, pick up. "Hey, Niall." I say and push the door open. "Hey, actually I need you to come to the hospital. I'm so scared. I don't know who to call anymore." he says. Okay.... "What's wrong?" I ask and turn around, going to the bus stop. "It's Louis. He... Can I tell you when you're here? I'm afraid I'll burst in tears and no one wants that." he says. A weight falls in my stomach. Why would he be in hospital? "Yeah, sure. The bus is right here, so I' ll be there in five." I say and hang up. The weight in my body and the stress and the many thoughts and ideas of what would have happend run through my head and don't allow me to even breathe normaly. I try to breathe, but it just doesn't work. It never does. The bus stops and I' m the first one to run out and go straight in. Then I see Nialls blond head and his blue jacket and I hug him. "What happend?" I breathe out. I love Louis. I know how stupid it is to love someone so 'famous' but how can he be so perfect? "He tried to.. Do something to himself. I found him on the floor in his bedroom with a bottle of pills. I called an ambulance and they took him here. I already called his mum and while they're on the way, I called Julia. She said she's in New York having the time of her life and hung up." Niall stops in front of one of the doors and nods his head. I open the door and step inside. Louis is laying on the bed, his eyelids closed, it even looks like he's dreaming. I take a seat besides the bed, on a chair and take his hand. Niall goes out again and I stay in the room with the only sound being the beeping that says he's still alive. After an hour he moves his hand and then opens his eyes. "What are you doing here?" the boy asks, his blue eyes looking into mine. "Niall called so I thought I'd come here to make sure you're okay." I say. He rubs his eyes and I give him water. "Did any of you called Julia?" he asks. I know he really loves her. She has been cheating on him endless times but he still hopes it would end one day. I nod my head. "Yeah, she's in New York." this time, Louis nods his head. "I know. I hoped she would at least care about me when I'm at my worst. She doesn't and it hurts." he says letting some tears fall from his cheaks to his sholders and chest. The sight breaks my heart so I crawl in his bed and hug him close. "She does care. She does. Niall will call her again but she cares. Don't worry." I say rubbing his back. He hugs me back and we stay like this. No one dares to move. We stay in the same position for so long that Louis falls asleep again just when Niall comes in the room. "Julia probably drowned her phone." Niall says. "What?" I whisper, still hugging Louis. "I can't reach her. She probably turned off her phone." Niall says. "Well, shit." I say. I slowly slip back in my chair and take Lous hand again. Niall and I talk, try to sing some songs but I don't even think about letting go of Lous hand. Later, he wakes up and just then his mum and Lottie walk in. They both hug him while me and Niall are getting up to leave for a coffee break.
