Sa totoo lang, when I first read the story, I don't like it. Mahaba at halos ma-English pa. Na-nosebleed ako pare, pero hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit binabalik-balikan ko ang istorya? Bakit binili ko yung libro sa bookstore? Bakit bumabalik-balik pa rin ako? I guess, nagustuhan ko talaga siya deep inside. And now na gusto ko talaga siya, binasa ko siya ulit.
The story is a story na alam na ng nakakarami, I hate how this kind of things na sinisisi nila si Athena of things, na parang siya pa ang kailangang mag-adjust and so she did, but things go upside down nung nalaman nila na she's sick. (Spoiler) Honestly, naiyak ako doon sa hospital scene. I kennat! I kennat! Huhu!
This is tragedy story, so don't expect a happy ending. But that doesn't mean I don't consider this happy. Naging happy ending naman siya, kasi realistic siya. The love is true and pure to the point that death is not even a hindrance.
Ngayon ko lang talaga na-realize how intricate the plot is, and how this is beautifully written. If you are thinking of buying the book version, just don't think, just buy, it's worth it.
