Much to Ivy's dismay Rick had set out with Hershel and Daryl in tow, which normally wouldn't bother her, if it wasn't for where they were going. They were meeting with the Governor. It made her want to grind her teeth, the fact they were willing to go talk. She wanted to shoot him dead, and she would even if an agreement was made.

"Hey." Ivy snapped out of her thoughts, looking over to the voice, seeing Michonne. Michonne held something in her hand, causing the ginger woman to quirk a brow.

"I, um... I know what happened, and I want to give you something I found while scavenging, something stronger than a little knife." Watching her unwrap it, Ivy stared at the katana. Handing her the blade, she examined it. The handle was a matte green aligned with golden leaves, the blade engraved with small flowers.

"I was out searching for weapons, food in case we got stuck in here and found someone's collection of katanas, figured that one fit your style." Ivy gave the woman a smile, standing and hugging her, ignoring the woman's tense stature, knowing she does the same.

"You gonna teach me to be a blade master like you are?" Michonne let out a small laugh, enjoying the woman's humor.

"Yeah, I'll teach you to be a ninja." The woman laugh together, Carl and Sophia walking up.

"Woah, cool blade." Carl awed, staring at the blade. Ivy smiled and elbowed Michonne, tilting her head towards her.

"Kick ass Michonne over here found me it while out on a run, I'm gonna be the coolest samurai you've ever seen." She teased, Sophia giggling.

"Beside from me, of course." Michonne added, causing Ivy to let out a quiet snort.

"Yes, Master Michonne, teach me you're slicing, ass kicking ways." With a smile, Michonne rolled her eyes. She didn't want to admit it but the woman was growing on her. Ivy was the type of person to grow on most people, even with her fiery attitude. Hearing the sound of Daryl's bike, they walked outside to see the situation.

"We will talk inside." Was all Rick had to say when they walked out, causing Ivy to worry. Daryl looked like he had a million thoughts on his mind, he also saw the new katana that adjourned Ivy's back.

"He wants us dead. He wants this prison. So Ivy was right, we are going to war." The group fell silent after his words. They all knew what this meant; the fight for their home was sooner than they could ever imagine.

Everyone separated after that, but Ivy watched as they pulled Merle to the side, something that made her worry. Why was there
more to say, and why was it to him?

"What was that about?" Daryl chewed his thumb at the woman's question. She didn't know how to tell her, it wasn't easy to tell someone that there was an offer like this. To trade someone for peace. He asked for either Michonne or Ivy, so how was he suppose to tell her that? Rick thankfully instantly shot down the Ivy idea, but nonetheless. He knew Ivy took a liking to the woman. So what was he suppose to say?

"Don't matter." He didn't want to lie to her face, he already hurt her once.

"The hell you mean it don't matter? You guys come back, tell us they want us all dead, then happen to bring an asshole psycho to the side to say something and it doesn't matter?" She argued, causing the man to groan and rub a hand down his face. He said he wouldn't say anything, and he doesn't want to scare her.

"She's got you wrapped 'round her finger." He recalled mentally, the words from his brother sinking in but also angering him. Why did he care so much about her? It made him want to pull at his hair in anger.

"Get off my back woman." With that he walked away, he didn't know what else to say. It got her to quit questioning so that's all he cared about.

Night soon fell, everyone was getting sleep while they could. Everyone but Merle and Michonne. He knew what he had to do, but he didn't want to do it. It made his stomach churn, because he knew what the Governor would do to the woman. But, nonetheless, he led her into a room and knocked her out, putting the plan into motion.

He had drove away from the prison with her in tow, but it was aching on his mind. He had always been the bad guy, no matter the situation. His hand was gone because of his actions, his brother saw him as the one that left. He knew his brother didn't like the choice that was made, and that sat heavy on his heart, making him decide to change his fate. He pulled into a parking lot, and once she woke up let her go.

Know one but her knew his decision, and no one yet knew his choice would lead to his demise.

Michonne made her way back to the prison, slowly, her mind going through what the man did, what the man decided. She made her way into the prison and went into the catacombs, her mind racing.

Everyone was tense waiting for hell to rain, it was silent as they waited. Listening for anything they could. People were on watch, people were in the high grounds of the prison. They were ready for any sort of challenge.

Ivy had been sharpening her blade when she began to hear gun shots outside, she hadn't expected the attack to be so soon. She quickly put it on her back and grabbed a gun, sneaking through the building. Soon Hershel had came up to her with Beth and Judith in tow.

"Where's the kids?" Ivy whispered, but soon saw them quietly sprint out of a cell.

"You know the plan, sneak through the back, get into the woods. Go, go!" She hissed out. With a nod they separate, Ivy running into  the catacombs. Because the timing of it she didn't have much of a plan for herself, so she was gonna sneak through the catacombs and be there for Carol. When she saw Michonne in the room she went into she let out a sigh of relief. She hadn't seen the woman that morning or most of the day so she was glad she was okay.

"They are here, you ready?" Michonne's eyes widened but she nodded. Ivy noticed Michonne didn't have her katana, so she handed her the one off her back.

"Here, I have a gun and we don't have time to go grab yours. Where have you been?" She asked, grabbing smoke grenades out of a box they put there previously.

"Merle, he kidnapped me, was gonna trade me to the Governor. Changed his mind." Ivy looked at her in shock before anger laced her features.

"That fucker loves to snatch people up. Im glad you're okay. Let's win this." Nodding to each other, they went silent and cracked the door, waiting.

The two listened as they heard gunshots getting closer, which caused them to get flash and smoke grenades ready.

"Why don't we just leave, this doesn't feel right." They heard someone say. Hearing a flash grenade go off from Carol they threw theirs out, hearing screams and panic through the halls. The women grinned at each other, the plan working.

Once silence hit their ears they walked out, joining the rest of the group. Rick's eyes slightly widened at the sight of Michonne but he had to focus on the task at hand.

"We won. Is everyone okay?" Hershel soon arrived with Beth and the kids in tow, his face was pale and solemn, and Carl's face was blank.

"You okay Carl?" Ivy asked, putting a hand on his shoulder. He nodded, but Sophia gave a concerned look.

"Rick... Your boy... He shot a kid in the woods, he was running, offered his gun and Carl just... He shot him." Carl looked at the old man angrily, something that caused Ivy's eyes to widen.

"I was protecting them, he was the enemy." Ivy ran her hand over her lower face, taking in his words. She understood why he did it, she just wished he didn't. He was afraid, and wanted to prove he could protect them.

"We will talk about this when I get back. We have to finish this. Daryl, you coming?" Daryl nodded, and they left off.

"Buddy, come here." Ivy said calmly to Carl, hugging him. He didn't hug back for a moment, but soon gave in, practically going limp in her arms.

"I see why you did it... But remember, in this world, not everyone is bad. Yeah, he was in a bad man's group, but he could of been someone good in a bad place. I wasn't always apart of your group, what if your dad shot me on sight?" He buried his head into her, shaking his head.

"Sophia would be dead." He said honestly, a frown on his face. Ivy nodded, patting his shoulder.

"Don't kill unless you have to, okay? Every kill will weigh on you, don't add weight." He teared up and nodded, hugging her tighter. Soon he let go, Hershel giving her a nod in thanks. Sophia ran to her side and held her hand, all of them walking in.

It was about an hour later when Rick and Daryl returned, however it wasn't just those two. A bus full of people followed. Everyone ran outside, seeing people flood out of the bus.

"Who are these people?" Carl asked, his nose scrunched.

"They are from that town, they will be joining us." Ivy's eyes widened, what had happened to the Governor, did they finish it? She noticed the brother and sister from before walk out of the bus. She didn't know their names, she had barely caught a glimpse of them before. Carl had let them in and Rick scared them away.

"He killed the people he brought here, all but one that happened to get away. He's gone." Daryl explained to the worried looking woman, causing her to nod.

"Daryl," Michonne called out, his head snapping over. Where was his brother if she were here?

"He let me go, you need to go find him." She answered his question before he could ask. He instantly set off, but when he got there he was never the same. His brother was gone, for once for a honorable reason. For the first time in ages he cried, he stayed strong when he came back, but inside he was hurting.

Got y'all a long chapter, hope y'all enjoyed :3

It didn't go the exact way it did in the show cause honestly I thought it would be boring to recite the actions word for word. Mixed it around some.
