You slept in while Giyu went out on a mission.
"Wow.." You mumbled as you stared at the bouquet of flowers on your nightstand. They were absolutely gorgeous and looked to have been freshly picked too. Makes you wonder where they came from..
As you lean over your bed, you pick up the note beside the flowers and begin reading it's contents..
"Good morning, Y/n."
"I'm probably gone by the time you're reading this but, I left some flowers on your nightstand. Mitsuri helped me make the bouquet, saying that she'd think you'd like it. ..I don't know if that's true and if it's not, I apologize but I wanted to give you something since today may mean a lot to you."
"Happy Valentine's Day. From, Giyu Tomioka."
You giggle to yourself as you read the last part of the letter. It's sweet that he considered giving you something for Valentine's Day but did he really have to add his full name? You find it a little silly.
Obanai Iguro
You painted his nails.
"Why are you making me do this?" Obanai asked as he stared at your hunched over form.
"Because it's fun.." You mumbled, more focused on applying nail polish to his fingers then talking.
"I'm surprised you're letting me do this. I was expecting a 'hell no' when I asked you."
"Then why would you ask if you were expecting to get rejected?"
"Because today is special, meaning I had a greater chance asking today." You say before straightening your posture, grinning proudly at your masterpiece.
"I'm done! They look so cute! Don't you agree?" You asked. Obanai's eyes widen.
"Why did you choose pink?"
"Because they match mine!" You show him your nails, "Now we're twinning for Valentine's Day! Tengen will be so jealous when he sees us tonight!"
"What do you mean?" He asks. You raise an eyebrow.
"Don't you remember? We're going on a double date with Tengen and his wives tonight." You say. Obanai's face pales. He had complete forgotten and his face burned at the thought of Tengen seeing his hands.
His gazes panes over to your pleased expression and he sighs. As much as he wants you to remove the nail polish, you seem really happy right now so..
"Thank you for reminding me. ..Let's go get ready."
"Alright! Oh! And remember to wear the suit I got you! It'll look great with your new nails!"
Mitsuri Kanroji
You two threw a Valentine's themed party.
"Agh..! Buttercup!" Mitsuri said, fumbling into the kitchen with dirty plates and cups.
Running over to her, you take the dirty dishes and set them on the counters.
"Everyone really likes your horderves! The ( Horderves/Snack of your choice ) was a great idea!" Mitsuri complimented only for you to not respond.
"Love?" Mitsuri called, you finally look away from the dish your making to give her a quick glance.
"Huh- What? I'm sorry, Mitsuri. What were you saying?" You asked. Mitsuri pouts.
"Buttercup, if you keep at this, you'll end up overworking yourself."
"I'll be fine, Mitsu." You say, half-heartedly waving your hand in a shooing motion.
"Go on ahead and- Ah!"
You nearly drop the food in your hands as Mitsuri picks you up. You set the tray on the counter just in time for her to spin you around. You yelp in surprise but luckily, Mitsuri sets you down before you can get too dizzy.
"What was that for?" You asks.
"To get your full attention! I really wanted to ask you something!" She said, you can't help but chuckle.
"Well, what is it?"
"Will you come dance with me? Pretty please!" She asked, a blush forming on her face. You laugh again at her silliness.
"Ahaha~! Fine! I'm sure our guest won't mind the food being done a little later.."
Shinobu Kocho
You convinced her to go out and have dinner with you.
"Hey, 'Nobu. How do I look?" You ask, walking into her lab.
"You look great, butterfly." Shinobu said as she examined some liquid in a vile.
"Oh come on! You aren't even looking!" You said putting your hands on your hips.
"I don't need to look at you if I already know you look beautiful in whatever you're wearing."
"That's sweet but I still need you to look at me. And while we're at it, stop working. It's your day off, Shinobu."
"I know, love. I was just doing this to pass the time until you're ready."
"Well if you would turn around, you would realize that I am ready."
Shinobu remains silent, probably too absorbed in her work. You sigh.
"C'mon, Shinobu.." You say, "Today's Valentine's Day! I want to spend time with you. Can you please stop working..?"
After a few moments, Shinobu finally looks away from the vile to turn to you. She smiles at you, face dusted with the lightest pink known to man as she stares at your attire.
"You look beautiful." She says walking over to you. As your face heats up, she cups your face.
"And you're right. Today's Valentine's Day and I should be spending it with the person I love. ..Give me a few minutes and I'll be ready to go. Okay?"
She gives you a quick peck on the lips before walking to the door. You smile at this.
"Alright. But if you take to long I'm dragging you out of there!"
Sanemi Shinazugawa
He serviced you the entire day.
"Ah~! Now this is living.." You sighed as you sunk into the bath, the rose petals floating around you and the sweet smell of your favorite candle swimming comfortably in the air.
"Where's my faithful servant?" You teased. You hear Sanemi grumble from behind the door.
"Right here.."
"Then come in, I want to see you! ..Oh! And make sure you bring my ( Drink of choice )!"
A few moments pass and you use all the strength in your body to bite back the laugh swelling in your throat when Sanemi walks into the bathroom wearing a butler's outfit. His hair is nicely slicked back instead of sticking up.
"This outfit is so fucking stupid." He says, handing you your drink in a champagne glass.
"Would you rather it be a maid outfit? I have one." You say, taking the glass from him. Sanemi shoots you an incredulous look.
"Why do you-"
"Do you really want to ask that question? Do you really?" You cut off. He shivers in horror at the thoughts running through his head.
"Nevermind.. When you get out, make sure not to put on your clothes. I'm trying to get this oil message over and done with so I can cook and get out of this stupid uniform."
"Are you telling me to walk out naked?" You ask, "I knew you were bold 'Nemi but, not this bold."
Sanemi glares at you, irritation looming around his figure. You shrug it off and laugh. In all honesty, you really did appreciate Sanemi for his efforts in making this Valentine's Day so special.
But that doesn't mean you were going to make today easy for him. Oh, absolutely not.
Kyojuro Rengoku
You had rehab training so Kyojuro came to visit you.
You groaned out in pain as the the triplets finally get off of you. After a mission gone wrong, you were lucky to only gain a few broken bones. Even so, with the triplets in charge of helping you out with rehab training..you can't really tell if they're helping you or making it worse.
As you stretched as best you could with a damaged rib, Kyojuro walks in with gifts in tow.
"Good afternoon, sunshine!" Kyojuro greets. You turn and walk over to him, smiling as you give him a quick hug.
"Afternoon, Kyo. ..What do you have there?" You asked, staring at the bags in his hands.
"All your favorite foods and snacks! Since we couldn't go out to eat for Valentine's Day, I decided to bring the food to you!" He explained. You clap and bounce in delight.
"Aw~! That's so sweet but, I can't possibly eat all of this by myself.. Do you mind helping me out?" You ask. Kyojuro laughs which causes you to laugh as well.
"I would be honored! Let's go to the common room so we can feast!"
Tanjiro Kamado
You two went to the market to buy gifts for the others.
"Which one would Zenitsu like more, chocolates or flowers?" You asked your boyfriend who was scanning through the selection of potential gifts.
"If it's from you, I think he'd like either one."
"Ooo~! Was that a hint of jealousy I heard from you just now?" You tease. Tanjiro snaps his head in your direction, his face blooming red.
"What? No! Not at all! I- uh!" He stammers, waving his hands around frantically. You laugh.
"I'm just joking." You reassure.
"That wasn't very funny.." He frowns.
You walk closer to him, "I'm sorry, baby. You looked a little stressed so I thought I'd try to lighten things up."
As you inch closer and closer Tanjiro backs away, his face darkening.
"Is- Is that so.. Well, I- uh- I appreciate the thought."
Your face is inches apart from his. Tanjiro closes his eyes, waiting for the moment your lips connect with his. However, as soon as he does so you back away and walk past him.
"We should get going. If we wait too long, we won't be able to find something for Inosuke." You say. Tanjiro opens his eyes, his entire face now red from embarrassment as he turns to run after you.
"Uh- Right!"
Muichiro Tokito
He was sick so you two stayed home.
"Wakey, wakey.." You cooed to your feverish boyfriend as you gently shook him. As much as you didn't want to wake him, Shinobu specifically told you to make sure he eats and drinks his medicine.
"Hm.. Stop.." He grumbled, smacking your hand away. You huff.
"I know you want to sleep but it's lunchtime and you haven't eaten yet." You explain.
"Once you eat I'll leave you alone. ..And maybe consider letting you cuddle up to me."
A moment after saying that, Muichiro lazily opens his eyes, "Promise?"
"Yeah." You say. Giving him a nod for reassurance. Muichiro mumbles something incoherent under his breath before slowly sitting up.
You help him to the edge of the bed before setting the plate of his favorite food ( Simmered radish dressed with miso for anyone who'd like to know ) on the small table in front of him. You then sit beside him.
Muichiro leans in your direction, his face inching closer and closer to yours, "Thank you for the meal, bunny--"
You put a finger to his lips which halts his movements.
"Ah, ah, ah!" You say, holding up your other index finger up and moving it side to side, "You know the rule. No kisses until you feel better."
Muichiro pouts against your finger and pulls away, weakly picking up his chopsticks, "That rule is stupid.."
Taking the chopsticks out of his hand you use them to pick up some of his food before putting it up to his lips, "I know but if I get sick, who would take care of us?"
"I would take care of you." He says in between chews, "..I'd give you lots of cuddles and kisses..and I could get Aoi to make you soup."
You chuckle, deciding not to mention how he didn't include himself in his plan, "That sounds nice but, I still don't think I want to get sick.."
Yuichiro Tokito
He taught you how to cook strawberry pancakes.
"Don't be so rough when handling the batter. Even if it takes a little longer, you should take your time and thoroughly mix the ingredients together." Yuichiro instructed, hand steadily gripping yours as he guided your hand.
You didn't think cooking would be so hard! Or maybe it was because of Yuichiro. Every time you made a mistake he would come up behind you and guide you, allowing you to see every little aspects of his face. His surprisingly long lashes, his silky hair that tickled your skin every time he moved his head, his pretty mint green eyes that seemed to sparkle just a tad from how focused he was.
"You're so pretty.." Your hand comes up to slap itself over your mouth as your eyes widen. You didn't mean to say that out loud!
Yuichiro's movements halt and you watch as his ears slowly turn red in color before he steadily backs away from you.
"Wh- What?" He stammers, "I- Idiot! Why are you being so embarrassing all of a sudden?"
"Sorry!" You say, waving your hands, "It slipped out! I didn't mean to say it out loud!"
"I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable, Yui! Really, I am!"
Clicking his tongue, Yuichiro's eyes dart away from yours, "I- I didn't say it made me uncomfortable I just.. It was so sudden and I.."
As he struggled to find a buyable excuse, you took the time to notice how flustered he had gotten. ..Does a simple compliment usually have this much of an effect on him?
"Hey, Yuichiro." You call.
"..What?" He says after a while.
"You're the prettiest boy I've ever met." Yuichiro faces blooms red causing him to bury his face in his hands.
"St- Stop it..!" He whines, voice slightly muffled due to his hands, "I can't think straight when you say embarrassing things like that.."
You walk over and pry his hands away from his face but his eyes immediately dart away from yours. Still gripping his wrists, you lean in to litter his face in kisses. Yuichiro's practically overheating at this point.
"My beautiful baby.." You say in between kisses. He whines again. Seriously, what has gotten into you all of a sudden?
Zenitsu Agatsuma
You surprised him with gifts.
"A gift? You- You actually got me a gift?" Zenitsu asked as he stared at the gifts in his hands with a thunderstruck expression on his face.
"Of course I did. It's Valentine's Day and you deserve it." You said, kissing his cheek. Zenitsu's face practically explodes into a blush as he jumps up from where he was sitting beside you.
"Tanjiro~! Nezuko~! Y/n-chan gave me gifts and kisses! Can you believe it?" He screamed, running to go find his friends.
"Hey, wait-!" You screamed but, it was too late. He was already gone.
"..You forgot your chocolates.."
Kanao Tsuyuri
You two stayed home and you surprised her with a Valentine's Day gift.
"Happy Valentine's Day, baby!" You exclaimed. Handing your girlfriend a bag full of gifts. Beaming with curiosity, Kanao opens the bag to see chocolates, flowers, and a teddy bear that says 'I love you' on the belly.
"Thank you, flower blossom." She smiles at you, "I really like it."
"I knew you would." You say.
Kanao sets the items aside, getting up and walking past you. You watch as she bends down to scan the wide variety of flowers in the garden before deciding to pluck a dandelion from the ground. She then walks back over to you and gently plants it in your hair.
"Dandelions suit you well." She says. You grin.
"Not as well as you do."
Inosuke Hashibira
You two went to a festival.
"Agh..! Why do I have to wear this?" Inosuke asked as you helped him tie the sash of his kimono.
"Because you'll stick out like a sore thumb at the festival without a shirt. Not to mention that you'll probably catch a cold."
"A cold? I never get colds! They fear me!" He says confidently.
"Well whether they fear you or not, you still have to wear this." You say. Inosuke grumbles.
"Why are we even going?"
"Because it's Valentine's Day?" You say, "Valentine's Day is where--"
"You get gifts and hang out with people right?" Inosuke finishes which surprises you. Even if that wasn't exactly what you we're about to say, he wasn't too far off.
"How do you know that?" You ask.
"Shinobu told me." He said plainly, shocking you even more. Now he's getting names right??? What in the world is happening???
Nezuko Kamado
You two cuddled and eventually fell asleep.
Usually, when Valentine's Day comes to mind, love comes to mind. When loves comes to mind, warmth sometimes come to mind as well.
So why the hell is it so cold outside?
That's what you've been wondering ever since you and the others escaped into this abandoned house after a random snowstorm appeared during your travels.
Most people would blame the area being prone to freezing weather but you're so pissed right now you curse Kibutsuji for this bad weather. Why? Because you don't have the heart to blame Tanjiro.
"Mhmm.." Nezuko mumbled as she shivered. You frown at this.
"I know you're cold baby but, don't worry. Your brother and the others should be back any minute now."
In actuality, the boys had just left but, you couldn't possibly tell Nezuko that. Not when she's about to freeze to death.
Can she freeze to death? Probably not but, still..
"Let's cuddle. That way we can keep each other warm. How's that sound?" You ask. Nezuko nods and quickly climbs onto your lap.
You grab your haori ( That was previously occupied by Nezuko ) and wrap it as best you can around the two of you before nuzzling into her hair.
With the heat your body produced, Nezuko found herself quickly growing content in your arms and eventually fell to sleep. You weren't so lucky however since Nezuko couldn't produce heat. Nevertheless, you yourself drifting to sleep as well. Hopefully no demon or wild animal comes in looking for meal soon because in the state you're in right now, you don't think you have the energy to fight them off..
Gyomei Himejima
You two spent the day inside the house since it was his day off.
"Sweetheart? What's that smell?" Gyomei asked. Walking down the stairs and into the kitchen where the sweet-smelling arouma was originating from.
"Oh! Perfect timing." You said, cleaning your hands off with a rag. You excitedly walk over to him, grabbing his hand and leading him to the dining table.
"I made you dinner!" You sit him down on the wooden chair, "I would've preferred to get you some gifts or chocolates but everything was sold out in the markets so I had to go with the next best thing."
"But, shouldn't you be preparing for that trip you have to take in a few days? It's very important to Oyakata-sama."
"I don't have to really prepare 'til tomorrow evening. Besides, I wanted to do something for you on Valentine's Day."
"Now dig in! When you finish eating I can give you a massage!"
You turn to leave but stop when the familiar sound of sniffles catch your attention.
"Baby? Are you okay?" You asked, spinning around. It's not a rare occurrence for Gyomei to cry but it never hurts to make sure he's alright.
"I'm alright." He reassures, "You're a kind soul, Y/n. I'm ashamed that I have nothing to thank you with.."
As Gyomei silently sobbed, you stand there in silence as you ponder something. If he wants to give you something maybe..
"I know what you can do to thank me." You say.
"What is it?" He sniffled.
"I think a kiss would be a good reward for my efforts. Don't you agree?" You ask. Gyomei stays silent.
"..You, of course, don't have to if you don't want to, baby." You add causing him to shake his head.
"Could you come closer?" He ask. You nod and walk closer.
Gyomei takes your hand, gently pulling it to his lip and kissing it.
"Thank you, sweetheart." He says after pulling away from your hand only to then grab you by the waist. Gently, he pulls you onto his lap before cupping your face and kissing you.
The kiss was innocent, comfortable and full of love. Gyomei kept his hands on your waist and you wrapped your arms around his neck. Unfortunately, before it could deepen any further, he pulls away.
You sit there on his lap and lean against his chest to better bask in the moment. Gyomei doesn't stop you, deciding to find comfort in running his large fingers through your hair.
"Turns out I was right." You say after a while.
"About what?" Gyomei ask. You look up and press a kiss to his chin.
"A kiss was a good- No. The best gift I could get from you."
Kanae Kocho
You made her chocolates. Well, you tried to make her chocolates..
"No. No. No.." You whined out.
Today was Valentine's Day but you had forgotten. You tried going to the market to buy Kanae a last minute gift but everything was sold out. Since you really didn't want to give her nothing on such a day, you opted to make her some chocolates, but..
Long story short, you tried to rush the process by skipping some steps and ended up with a sticky mess that stuck to both you and the area surrounding you.
"Why did I do that.." You mumbled to yourself, looking around to find something to clean the mess with.
"Daisy?" A voice suddenly called out. You jump.
"I-! Kanae! What are you doing here?" You asked after turning around to see Kanae's puzzled face staring at you, "I thought you had something to do today."
"Things went by quicker than expected so I decided to head home." She explained, "What are you doing?"
"I.." You falter, trying to think of a good excuse. When your mind shoots blanks you sigh in defeat.
"I was..trying to make you chocolate.." You muttered.
"Why?" She asked walking up to you.
"I forgot today was Valentine's Day and since all the chocolate at the markets were gone I thought I'd try to make you some but some stuff happened and.." You don't bother finishing your explanation. Instead, you decide to take interest in staring at the floor to ease your embarrassment.
There's a silence that passes and for a moment, you consider running to the bedroom and locking yourself inside. Before you can do that however, Kanae begins laughing, stopping you in your tracks. When you look up, you see her smiling and laughing. Her cheeks uncharacteristically red.
"I know it's embarrassing but you don't need to laugh at me.." You say dejectedly.
"I'll just head to bed-"
"Wait-! Wait..!" She says, trying her best to hold back her giggles, "Don't go. Let me explain."
"I'm not laughing at you, daisy. I'm laughing at the situation. You see, I also forgot today was Valentine's Day so I was nervous that you'd get me something and I'd have nothing to give back. so now that I know that you were in the same boat I couldn't help myself ahaha~!"
"Oh.." You said, surprised. Kanae's not one to forget things usually..
"How about this." She grabs both your hands, "Let's make chocolates together. We could say it's our Valentine's gift to each other!"
"I think that's a great idea! ..But uhm.. We'll have to clean up first.."
