Steve didn't want to rise any unwanted problems, so instead of visiting their family doctor he decided to visit any big hospital with trustworthy doctors and well known. He was shown to a doctor and he explained the reasons for his visit to the hospital, tests were run on him and the doctor proceeded to give Steve the results of his tests.
* Mr. Steve congratulations, the tests results shown here proves my suspicions. You are pregnant *
The doctor smile warmly as he congratulated him. Steve was shocked and bewildered,
* What?? Doctor this must be a joke!!!! I am a man!!! *
Steve shouted on top of his lungs,
* I think this is a tumor *
Steve insisted.
* I swear by having the same love interest as you that this is not a tumor *
the doctor said to him sarcastically as he adjust his glasses a bit.
Steve was stunned by how the doctor spoke thinking the doctor was joking with him when he was being serious. He glared at the doctor from head to toe,
* You quack!! *
Steve was enraged. The doctor passed him some files to prove what he is saying is true,
* Look at these files Mr. Steve, you're not the first one, and neither will you be the last *
Steve took the file from the doctor whose name was Eliot, he was so shocked to see the contents of the files,
* But this is just impossible!! So now boars can birth piglets and guys can birth babies??? *
Steve couldn't believe this was actually happening to him, he thought it had to be done sick joke. He had no problem with children, but he just couldn't believe him birthing one. He nervously started to gently pat his stomach,
* Dr. Eliot, would it help if I had a surgery?
Dr. Eliot sadly looked at him,
* Mr. Steve I'm sorry ... *
Steve quickly stood up before Dr. Eliot could finish his sentence. He slowly walked to the door and opened it, Steve quietly stood there for a moment and turned to look at the doctor one last time before he left, he crumbled his tests results and toss them in a bin as he exited the hospital.
Ash was busily working in his office when his secretary brought over some files which were faxed over to him.
* President Ash, these files were faxed over to you *
She gently place the files which she nicely kept in an envelope on his table.
* Thank you, you're dismissed *
he coldly said to the secretary without giving her a look. Ash quickly opened the envelope and took out the files, the first thing he search for was Steve's birthday. He started to read the contents of the files which states Steve's birthday,
* Name : Steve Dylan, Current Name: Steve Martin. Date of birth: 3rd month 05 *
he read out loud and quickly jotted it down without wasting any time. He continued to read the results of the investigations done on Steve, his mom and Zack, Ash started to feel dejected as he continued to read the files, he started to regret all the ill treatment which he had done to Steve. He soon realize that he was wrong and Steve had never done anything to deserve what he had done to him. Steve didn't have a good life and was abused by his mom since childhood, he pick up the rest of the files when a picture fell from them, Ash pick up the picture and was stunned to see that it was a picture of Steve when he was a child,
" to think he has always looked cute and innocent ", he thought to himself.
Ash continued to read the files and started to loose face and feel disgusted by himself. When he was done reading, he walked out to the balcony to get some fresh air. Ash started to think of what to do and how to apologise to Steve. He was so lost in thoughts that he didn't notice Steve who had come to the office to see him, but Steve changed his mind as he thought Ash wouldn't want to hear about his pregnancy. He felt Ash would be disgusted if he told him. He carefully thought about what to do next, he didn't have the heart to kill off the unborn child so he thought to keep it,
* I was already planning on moving out from the mansion, I guess it's time to do so now * he muttered to himself.
Ash who was still on the balcony finally noticed Steve, he quietly stares at him thinking Steve would come up his office, but after a while he still saw that Steve had no intentions of coming so he took out his phone and called him. Steve took out his phone from his pocket when it rang, he was surprised to see that Ash had called his personal number, Ash had never called him personally before so he still remained shocked and dazed for a few seconds before he picked up the call.
* Hello? What do you want? * he answered the call in an annoyed and uncaring tone.
* I'm done with my work, and working hours are over. I'd like to invite you out for dinner * Ash replied hesitantly.
* what do you want to eat? * he asked.
Steve was shocked and speechless. He didn't know how to answer that, Ash had never offered to take him out for anything before so why now.
* Are you in your right mind?, What are you even talking about? *
Steve was in no mood for nonsense from either Ash nor his mother now, he is determined to get them out of his life.
* Don't you have your escorts to accompany you for dinner? or are they no longer your interest? I can get someone to send over a pretty satisfying man to amuse you with. Don't bother me and please stop with me ..... I'm pretty tired now!!! *
he harshly replied to Ash in a loud sarcastic tone.
* That's not what I meant. I only want to take you out for dinner tonight *
Ash quickly replied back. For the first time he felt so nervous talking to Steve. Steve sighed as he felt that Ash was beginning to annoy him,
* I'm thankful for your generosity, but I eat very well everyday. I don't need you to start caring about my dinner now!! * he said back.
* Well enough, I'm taking you about for dinner tonight so just sit tight and wait for me, I can see you!!! *
Ash quickly hanged up the call right after he said that, Steve stared at his phone in disbelief,
* woah ~ what's wrong with him now? *
he muttered to himself, Ash quickly exited his office,
* Mavis, I have something important to attend to so I'm leaving early today. Please finish up the remaining tasks. I'm leaving you in charge of the conference tonight *
he said coldly to his secretary. Mavis quickly stopped what she was doing and gave all her attention to Ash,
* Huh? but sir I didn't prepare for that *
she quickly replied. Ash ignored her remarks and continued to walk away,
* just believe in yourself *
he said and wave at her. Mavis was speechless and shocked, Ash has never left office early before,
* Why is a workaholic like president Ash leaving early? He's even leaving me in charge of such an important conference?!! I might as well as bury myself with this workload *
she felt frustrated and muttered to herself.
Ash slowly approach Steve who was sitting on a bench and sipping on a canned juice from behind. Steve didn't notice Ash's presence until he sat next to him on the bench. He got startled and choke on the juice and started to cough, Ash quickly started to pat his back to help him relieve from the cough,
* You shouldn't drink in such a hurry *
Ash said in a worried tone.
* Isn't it still working hours? What are you doing here? *
Steve asked him as he wasn't expecting Ash to leave office now.
* There was nothing important left to do so I left early *
Ash said and he cautiously stared daggers at Ash.
* Uncle Vincent said you had a very important conference today, so you might return home late *
Sweat beads started to form on Ash's forehead and he diverted his gaze elsewhere,
* Uhm .... well I left my secretary in charge of it. Actually she wanted to host it so much the she was literally begging me to give this opportunity to her *
Ash replied as he clear his throat. Steve didn't ask anymore questions as he wasn't really bothered about it. Ash slowly wrap his hand around his waist and pulled Steve closer to him, Steve started to struggle trying to break free from Ash's hold.
" Steve just listen to me, I want to invite you to have dinner with me tonight *
Ash hesitantly said.
* No thanks!!! I'm already full, so please let go of me!! You can take any of your escorts with you instead!!! *
Steve continued to struggle in Ash's grip.
* Why won't you just listen to me? I'll take you to a very famous restaurant, okay? *
He tried to coax Steve into agreeing.
* Why don't you just go by yourself if you want to eat in a restaurant tonight that badly?!!! Okay fine just let go of me first!!!
Ash's face darkened when he saw a huge scar on Hinata's neck,
* Where did you get that scar *
