You sit in the garden, reading a book with a peaceful expression on your face, feeling relaxed by your natural surroundings.
Today the weather is good and the sun is out, so you decided to take the chance of getting your vitamin D by spending your time in the gardens.
However, your peacefulness gets cut short when Larsan blocks your view of the sun as he stands tall in front of you.
"I finally found you" you raise an eyebrow at him in question, before turning back to your book.
"And you are ignoring me... Why?" Larsan inquires playfully, sitting beside you.
"Maybe it is the fact that you avoided me after the news of my pregnancy spread" you spat out.
"That's not true, you judge too quickly, I thought you knew better than that" Larsan teases, not annoyed by your tone.
"Really, then clear up the small misunderstanding and explain what happened?"
You demand, looking at him this time, your eyes filled with hurt, thinking that he will lie or make up some pathetic excuse.
"Because I felt conflicted, that's why I have been avoiding you" you frown at the reply.
"Conflicted about what?"
"The fact that you don't love me the way I want you to"
You gulp as your expression softens at his confession.
"Listen, it is not like that-" he cuts you off.
"What does he have that I don't? answer me truthfully, (Y/n)"
"Who are you talking about?"
"The father of your baby, do you think I swallowed the who story of the baby not having a father? I'm not stupid"
"You think I'm lying? I'm telling the truth, no one has touched me!" you exclaim in defense, standing up.
"Then explain, how you got pregnant. You are not Mary mother of Jesus"
You stop yourself from speaking and think about his words.
"How do you know about them?"
"Know about who?"
"Mary and Jesus, those are religious figures, and religion is not mentioned on this island?"
Indeed, you have read many books, and none of them spoke about religion, and when you asked Luizin about it, he was confused by the question.

Larsan stands up, facing you with a now cold look on his face.

The dark-haired man steps closer to you, leaning his face at you, sneering viciously.

Larsan leaves you standing alone in the garden after he takes his leave.
