You and Mando were on a mission.
This mission in particular was difficult.
One of you wasn't gonna make it out there alive.
You and Mando were standing right on the edge of a cliff.
The bounty was in front of you with a gun pointed at both of you.
You looked at Mando.
He looked back at you with a confused, scared, and desperate face.
"I'm gonna do it," you mouthed to him.
"No," he begged, "No, please don't."
"I have to," you whispered, "just don't worry about me, go live a good life."
"No, please Y/n, don't do this," he pleaded "I-I-I have nothing without y-you."
"Goodbye, Mando" you whispered falling backward into the deep ravine.
The bounty put his guns down to see if you had actually fallen then Mando shot him and he dropped dead.
He kneeled down on both knees.
He took his helmet off and set it down.
Rivers of tears were streaming down his face.
His adorable short light brown curly hair was in his eyes.
He sniffled, wiped away all his tears, and put his helmet on.
He started to climb down the cliff to look for your body.
He was unsuccessful.
Since that day, he has been looking for you everywhere.
Hoping that you were alive.
-- 2 years later (you and Mando are 20 now) --
You were in your house on Kashyyyk.
Kashyyyk was the planet of the Wookiees.
You thought Mando would never find you here.
You always thought he was living better without you.
That doesn't change the fact that you thought about him constantly.
--Mando pov--
He landed his ship on Kashyyyk.
"Last planet," he sighed to himself.
He walked out of the ship and saw Wookiees everywhere.
A small hut a few miles away caught his eye.
His eyes lit up and his heart skipped a beat.
He had been looking for you everywhere and he might've finally found you.
He jetpacked to the hut.
He knocked on the door.
--your pov--
You heard a knock on the door.
You were beyond confused.
No one ever came to this planet and the Wookiees always stayed away from your hut, and even if the Wookiees came close, you didn't think they would knock.
You cautiously and slowly opened the door.
You saw a man in beskar.
You recognized him immediately.
"Y-Y/n..." he stuttered.
"M-Mando..." you greeted.
"N-nice to s-see you again" he stammered.
"Y-Yeah, wanna come in?" you asked nervously stepping aside so he could walk through freely.
"Yeah," he said, "Sure."
He walked in and sat on the couch.
"This motherfucker actually walked in like he owns the place," you laughed jokingly in your head.
"H-hey, Y/n?" he asked as you sat beside him.
"Yeah?" you asked looking at him.
"Can I ask a personal question?" he said cautiously.
"Sure," you shrugged nervously.
"Why did you leave me that day?" he asked more bold and confident than earlier, "I thought you died."
Those last four words broke your heart.
You hesitated and looked down.
You heard air hiss.
He took his helmet off.
He gently grabbed your chin and pulled your face in so your face was just inches away from his.
You'd never seen his face before.
His curly brown hair, mustache, and brown eyes almost had you swooning.
"Y/n, please," he begged.
You hesitated more.
He closed his eyes.
"Look, if it's something I did, I just-" he started.
He got cut off by you launching yourself onto him and kissing him thoroughly.
His eyes shot open in shock and he saw your eyes closed.
He closed his too and melted into the kiss.
(if anyone doesn't understand, you guys kind of look like this except in your clothes and you're on top)
"Y/n..." Mando muffled into the kiss.
You broke apart the kiss.
"Yeah?" you smiled but your smile faded once you saw his straight face "What's wrong?"
"Why did you leave me that day?" he asked seriously.
"I-I just thought you would be better without m-me," you muttered.
His lips smashed into yours and you melted into it.
He broke it apart.
You looked at him confused.
"I died without you Yn, now I'm alive again," he smiled.
"I love you Mando," you smiled back.
"How dare you beat me to it," he joked "and to you, it's Din Djarin"
You held yourself above him in a push-up position and looked at him hopefully.
"I love you too Y/n," he said knowing that's what you were waiting for.
You let out a sigh of relief and dropped down to kiss him again.
This one was thorough and passionate.
Even more than the last one if that was even possible.
"Wanna travel the universe with me?" he asked breaking the kiss apart.
"I'd love too, 𝒟𝒾𝓃 𝒟𝒿𝒶𝓇𝒾𝓃" you smirked.
