Today's the day we all go back to school and see each other for the FIRST time since the incident.
We have been laying low and keeping the beef of social media, but a lot of people are now questioning shit since that hoe from DR posting about ddot.
I jumped out of bed and took a shower. I then brushed my teeth and threw on a white tee with my black sweats. I grabbed my black cat 4's and went downstairs.
"Yoooo" Notti punched my arm.
"Nigga back up" I said already annoyed. Jada wouldn't answer my messages and it's been blowing me.
We grabbed our bookbags and started walking to school.
"My bestie facetiming me" Notti made a 😋 face.
As he answered I saw Jada's face pop onto the screen.
"So she can call you but not answer me?" I raised a brow confused.
"Ian the one who did shit so" he shrugged tryna be a smart ass.
"IM COMING TO Y'ALL OKAY!" she geeked.
"Bitch are you near the highway?" I took the phone.
"See what had happened was I went to Mcdonalds right, and then I got lost..." she got quiet.
"AYE I SEE Y'A- wait no that's some homeless dude" she squinted her eyes to get a better look.
"I hope he takes you" I scoffed as I gave Notti the phone back.
"If he takes me, you can't get no good head" she said in a duh tone.
Me and Notti gave each other a 😮look.
"You nasty hoe" Notti gagged.
I started cheesing.
"YURRRR" she yelled as she was talking to someone.
"No nig ion got no cash on me" she must've been walking past the homeless guy.
"We are turning the corner right now you want us to wait for you at the deli?" Notti asked.
"Nah I'm straight I'll see y'all bozo's later" she hung up.
"Ima wait for her." I thought to myself.
"Notti go without me Ima stop by the deli for sum snacks" I rubbed my hands together.
"Don't let the opps find you" he joked as he ran across the street.
I walked into the Deli and grabbed a sandwich while I waited.
I went on my phone when I heard the doors open.
"WAS GOODY!! Where's my nigga rock?" Jada's voice echoed as she walked to the cashier.
"You not rock nigga where my bestie at?" She raised a brow.
"He didn't come in for work today" The man said with an accent.
"Where you from?" she asked staring into his soul.
"Columbia" he replied.
"Mhm type shit" she walked to the chip aisle. I decided I wanted to scare her.
I crept up from the back when she turned around and hit me in the face.
"My fault g- Dd?" she started laughing.
"I did not mean to hit you" she wiped a tear from laughing so hard.
"Nah kid you straight" I rubbed my cheek.
"You tryna creep up on niggas KNOWIN I'm clumsy" she hit the side of my head.
"Ow stop" I rolled my eyes as I rubbed my head.
"I thought I said not to wait for me" she randomly became serious.
"You really thought I was gone let you walk to school by ya self?" I shook my head in disbelief.
"No, I jus thought- never mind" she went to the drink aisle.
"What ma" I followed.
"Nun" she said blandly as she grabbed a sprite.
"Baby" I put my arm around her waist.
"Dd nope" She pushed me softly.
"Come on you said we'd talk once we get back to school. Here we are" I told her.
"Technically we are at the Deli, not school. So, I don't have to say shit." She gave me a slick smile.
I groaned as she went back to the cashier and paid.
"Thank you, guy who took rocks place, see you soon!" she stuck her fist out for a fist bump and he walked away.
"Niggas be bugging Worda bro" she popped her neck back as she walked out.
It fell quiet as we crossed the street. It was an uncomfortable silence.
"Are we still... ya know" I started.
"We weren't dating." she snapped as politely as she could.
"Excuse me?" I was confused.
"You never asked me out which means I'm a free agent." she gave me a 🤨 look as if she was confused too.
"No that's not how it works. YOU ARE MY GIRL. You acted like we were in a relationship." I denied.
She didn't say anything.
"What are we" I grabbed her arm and turned her towards me.
"Dd, I don't know" she whispered as she looked down. Defeated.
"Baby I wanna be with you. You know that." I spoke. Very clear.
"Nigga of course I know that shit you wouldn't stop blowing me up bout it" she rolled her eyes.
"So then what's stopping you" I questioned softly.
"Ddot is. I still... love him. He was my first real relationship man I can't jus get over it in a week or two. Shi I might not get over it at all" she looked at me with watery eyes.
"He don't treat you right the fuck you mean you still want em!!!" I yelled.
"See now this is why I avoided you" she scoffed as she walked away.
"Ma-" I called out.
She flipped me off and walked into the school. Leaving me behind.
"Ouch" I said to myself.
JADA GREEN
I walked to my locker pissed off.
"BAE" Jakobe jumped onto my back.
"AWH SHIT" I fell.
"Damn I'm that fat" he lifted up his shirt and pressed on his stomach.
"Help me up" I gave him a 😒 look.
He grabbed my hand and yanked me up.
"Where's everyone else?" I looked around.
"Well Notti and Eva in the corner making out somewhere, Ddot wanted to shove past me like I won't beat that nigga ass and Dd is nowhere to be found" he leaned on the locker as I opened mine.
"I was with Dd" I put some books away.
"Huh" he was looking at his nails.
"I was with Dd." I slammed my locked closed and he jumped.
"Oh- so y'all like-" he started.
"No." I interuppted him.
"Good to know" he clapped excitedly.
"Jakobe" I gave him a hard glare.
"I'm kidding" he reassured me.
"Here comes Ashley now" he whispered as he pulled me close to him.
"Yo Jada" I heard Ddot's raspy voice say. He sounded sick.
"A hey 'Jakobe how you doing' would be nice" Jakobe joked. Or at least I think he was joking.
"Shut up fuck nigga" Ddot was NOT feeling the jokes this morning.
"Nigga what" Jakobe pushed me to the side a lil.
"Double it and give it to da next person" I pushed through both of them and walked away to my first period.
"See look you made her mad" Ddot whined.
I heard heavy footsteps following me.
"JADAAAA" Ddot complained as we walked into 1st period.
"Why you talkin to me" I sat down as he sat next to me.
"Cause it's a free country" I said in a duh tone.
I gave him a mean side eye.
"Okay so clearly you are still mad-" he started.
"Of course I'm mad. Honestly, I should slap you with the knocks right now." I whisper yelled so no one would notice we were arguing.
"Can I just explain my side though" he begged.
"There is no side to what you gotta say. I know what happened. And you know what the hell you said" I laughed annoyed.
"I was mad. I didn't mean any of it. My brain wasn't processing the right way. I just didn't want to look pussy in front of everyone." He admitted.
"Too late for that baby" I said sarcastically as I pouted my lip at him.
"Baby?" he started cheesing.
"Nigga I call ya homeboy daddy hop off tip" I rolled my eyes.
I can tell he was hurt by that one.
"Can I come over later so we can talk somewhat? Ignoring me isn't gonna make you feel better" he said generously. He knew how bad I was hurting.
I sighed.
"Ma please. We can't push the situation away" he placed his hand on top of mine.
I felt the anger rising in me.
"If you get your hand off of me then maybe you would survive to see the end of the day" I told him.
"So that's a yes" he chuckled.
"Man I guess" I slouched back in my seat as the teacher got everyone quiet.
I saw from the corner of my eye him doing a quiet celebration.
I smiled a little.
