"Oh, my god. Look who's back, I believe it's those adorable Gilmore Girls" Victoria says walking into Luke's with her mother and sisters.

"My, how we missed them" Lorelai says. "I hear they're different now-a little sad" Rory takes over.

"A little broke" Victoria adds. "Don't you three believe in jet lag?" Luke walks over to them. "No way, we're still flying in the Atlantic City buzz" Lorelai insists.

"Hey, handsome. Were you bad while I was gone?" she asks.

"I was. I went to bed every night at 10:15" Luke answers. "Grandpa, what are we gonna do with you?" Victoria sighs.

"Did you have a good trip?" Luke asks as the girls sit down. "I believe it was the best belated 21st birthday part on record. Still a little disappointed I had two 21st birthday parties and couldn't drink at either of them though" Victoria tells him. "Which reminds me, sorry about all the drunken late night phone calls" Lorelai apologizes to Luke.

"What drunken late night phone calls?" he asks confused.

"Uh, so, um, do you want to what about all the things we can tell you about our trip?" Lorelai avoids the question. "I'm not sure" Luke answers honestly.

"Okay, well first of all video poker is my calling. I think I'm totally gonna dedicate my life to it, especially the third machine in the second row of machines as you hit the entrance of Trump Taj Mahal" Victoria starts causing Luke to sit down. "I'm more of a roulette girl myself" Rory tells him. "And we did the whole thing up right you know, two out of three of us did the martinis at the blackjack table" Lorelai says.

"And we pretended we were turning 21 while we were playing 21, and we actually won and bought our 21 items" Victoria adds.

"Shot glasses, glow in the dark coasters, salt and pepper shakers, pasties" Rory lists. "Oh, and look" Lorelai pulls out a list.

"What's that?" Luke asks. "21 guys' phone numbers, I must say I'm feeling myself with how many I was able to get while pregnant" Victoria says proudly. "Uh-huh, so tell me, how was Paul Anka- the person, not the dog" Luke asks them.

"We didn't get to see him" Lorelai says sadly.

"Why not? That's all you talked about" Luke asks confused. "The billboard was old and his show actually closed a week before we got there" Rory explains.

"So, who'd you end up seeing?" Luke asks. "Well, it came down to Journey without their original lead singer, INXS without their original lead singer, Queen without their original lead singer, The Supremes without Diana, and, weirdly, the James Brown band without James Brown, but we wound up seeing Tony Danza, who was sublime" Victoria answers. "Oh, the tap dancing" Lorelai reminisces.

"Why Taxi never utilized his musical comedy skills is astonishing" Rory says.

"Sounds great" Luke replies. "Oh, we snagged you a Paul Anka T-shirt. They had some left over" Victoria pulls the shirt out of a bag tossing it to him.

"Okay. I'm making you burgers" Luke starts to get up. "Wait, wait. You haven't seen the best part yet" Lorelai stops him. She gives her daughters a look, both of them instantly knowing what she's talking about.

"Oh, we were walking down the street and we see this guy-" Rory starts.

"And, Luke, my hand to God, it's you, it's totally you. Luke 2.0" Victoria puts her hand up. "We came face to face with your doppelgänger, my friend" Lorelai confirms.

"So we followed him" Rory continues. "Yeah, cause we had to, and he went into this nightclub, so we followed him, cause we're now stalkers and obsessed with getting his picture" Victoria adds. "So we follow him through this kind of grungy place, and he goes backstage" Lorelai takes over.

"Cause he's in the biz" Rory comments.

"Yeah, so we sneak behind the curtain, and we track him down, and we told him all about you, and then mom showed him your picture, and he totally freaked out. Wait, I got it" Victoria pulls out a picture of the guy. "Luke, I want you to meet Derek McKinney. Your twin separated at birth" Lorelai tells him.

"This is a man dressed like Dolly Parton" he looks at the picture. "You should hear him do Jolene, amazing" Rory insists. "You think I look like a guy dressed as Dolly Parton?" Luke asks.

"Well, I mean a little less with the makeup, but check out the chins" Victoria points.

"I'm gonna get your burgers" Luke walks away. "He missed us" Lorelai says.

"Definitely" Victoria agrees.

At Yale the next day Victoria walks out of her class to find Tristan leaning against a wall waiting for her.

"Nope" Victoria keeps walking. "Tori" Tristan follows her.

"You shouldn't be talking to me, your girlfriend might get jealous" Victoria says still walking. "So you do know about that" Tristan takes a deep breath. "Know about? I had to see it" Victoria scoffs.

"Can you stop walking?" Tristan asks her.

"Why? What could you possibly want right now?" Victoria turns around to face him. "You're still carrying my baby, you couldn't have expected us to never talk again" Tristan insists.

"Well you could see why you going this long without talking to me gave me a different impression" Victoria replies. "I wanted to talk to you sooner, I didn't think you'd want to hear from me. Everyone told me I'd done enough, that I should give you your space" Tristan tells her. "You could give me space without dating the girl that ruined us" Victoria scoffs.

"She didn't ruin us, I did" Tristan disagrees.

"Plus one point for admitting it, minus five for defending her" Victoria comments. "Come on, just think about the baby. How are they gonna grow up if we can't at least be civil?" Tristan tells her.

"So what do you want to do, have a little parenting meeting? Me, you, and step-mommy dearest?" Victoria asks. "She's not gonna be a stepmom, I haven't even talked to her in a week" Tristan responds. "Wow a whole week" Victoria rolls her eyes sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"You're never gonna have to see her again if you don't want to, okay? She was a fling, she's nothing" Tristan tells her.

"That's the problem, Tristan" Victoria groans aggravated. "There's a difference between our teenage and adult selves, we were fifteen when we met and now I'm twenty one and you're twenty. If we grew up and changed and you found someone else that you were more compatible with and you just couldn't help falling in love with her then fine be with her I don't care, but you're already done with her, you ruined us for nothing" she explains.

"What do you want me to do? Please, just tell me what to do" Tristan says desperate. "I'll text you the date for my prenatal appointment, if you want a shot at civility you'll be there" Victoria tells him before walking away.

"So, the elevator's getting fixed on Monday, but I'm thinking I may not even use it 'cause the stairs are excellent exercise" Rory says walking up the stairs to the apartment she moved in with Paris:

"And I love having a hallway. I've never had a hallway before" Rory continues. "And I am really lucky that Paris and Doyle hadn't rented out that other room yet. I mean, this location is really in demand" she says.

"Really?" Victoria asks as Rory starts to unlock the door. "Oh, yeah. I mean, it is literally 10 minutes from campus" Rory explains. "You know how hard I'm gonna have to work to be late for class?" she adds.

"Those guys down there, are they your neighbours?" Lorelai asks.

"Um, no. They're a Doo-Wop group" Rory lies. "Um. You have some plutonium back there or something?" Victoria sees the amount of locks on the door.

"Uh, no, just Paris, you know. She's quirky" Rory kicks the door, and opens it. "Welcome to my place" they walk in. "No" Lorelai says instantly.

"Vic, a little help" Rory requests.

"No" Victoria agrees with her mother. "Look, we have a really big living room" Rory looks on the bright side.

"Uh, no" Lorelai insists. "I know it just looks rundown, but everything works fine" Rory tells her. "No" Victoria gasps seeing the kitchen.

"Victoria" Rory says.

"No" Victoria says as Lorelai stars waking around the apartment. "Ok, tour's over. Time for lunch" Rory gives up.

"No" Lorelai starts pointing at stuff. "Let's go" Rory tries. "No. No" Lorelai keeps pointing.

Victoria opens Paris and Doyle's bedroom door to find them fighting, well actually Paris is kicking Doyle's ass.

"Saroyan! Saroyan!" Doyle yells. "Aah" Lorelai yells covering Rory's eyes.

"No, no, no" Victoria shakes her head. "Ok. Ok" Rory says before they leave.

"Oh, Rory" Victoria says sitting at Rich Man's Shoe still thinking about Rory and Paris' apartment.

"Come on. It's not so bad" Rory insists. "It's Angela's Ashes" Lorelai tells her.

"It's basic" Rory replies. "It's Sanford and Son" Victoria corrects her. "The neighbourhood is safe. A ton of kids from school live there" Rory assures them.

"And they have a safety van that goes to and from campus, so I don't have to walk home at night" she adds.

"That wasn't a Doo-Wop group, was it?" Lorelai asks. "No" Rory admits.

"Let's call daddy. Make him pay for an apartment with one lock" Victoria suggests. "No. Look, this is the way it's supposed to be" Rory declines. "You're living at home, I'm living in a crappy apartment. No luxury right now" she continues.

"Now let's talk about something else" Rory tries to change the topic.

"Alright, I talked to Tristan" Victoria tells them. "What?" Lorelai asks shocked.

"He just showed up waiting for me" Victoria says. "How'd it go?" Rory asks. "Not great" Victoria answers honestly.

"Do you know what you're gonna do yet?" Lorelai asks her.

"No idea" Victoria responds. "Everything just feels so different now" she says.

"I'm sorry, I should've realized what was going on that night sooner. I could've stopped it" Rory says feeling bad. "You shouldn't have had to stop it, it shouldn't even have been a possibility" Victoria shakes her head. Lorelai gives her a sad smile putting her hand on hers.

"So what's going on with you? How are the wedding plans going?" Victoria changes the subject.

"Done" Lorelai answers. "What?" Rory asks shocked.

"All done" Lorelai nods. "What?" Victoria repeats her sister. "The dress, the cake, the place, the invitations. June 3rd, by the way" Lorelai tells them.

"Wow" Rory says.

"Yeah. I also bought your dresses and shoes" Lorelai adds. "How did all this happen?" Victoria asks.

"Well, I found this dress, which, at the time, seemed like the perfect dress, and from the dress, all the other details fell into place. By the end of the day I was done" Lorelai explains. "That's great" Rory tells her. "Is it?" Lorelai asks.

"Isn't it?" Rory replies.

"I don't know. Yes, sure, I thought it was" Lorelai answers. "I mean I thought it was a sign or something, you know, finding the dress. And then when, oohh when it started to snow, I was like, somebody's telling me something" she continues.

"So it would seem" Victoria nods. "But then I started thinking..." Lorelai keeps going. "Uh-oh" Rory says.

"It was all too easy. Planning a wedding shouldn't be easy because marriage isn't easy" Lorelai insists.

"How do you know? You've never been married" Victoria points out. "Exactly" Lorelai says.

"Exactly what?" Rory asks her. "I have never been married because it's not easy, and I usually freak out and screw everything up. I freaked out and screwed everything up with Max, remember?" Lorelai reminds them. "Yeah, but..." Victoria tries.

"But I haven't freaked out about Luke yet. Why haven't I freaked out about Luke yet?" Lorelai starts overthinking.

"It's my pattern. It's what I do, and then I started freaking out about the fact that I hadn't freaked out" she continues. "Oh, dear! You got caught in the circle of freak out" Rory realizes.

"What if this dress is really a bad sign, not a good sign? What if the dress is telling me that it's so right, it's wrong?" Lorelai freaks out. "Mom" Victoria tries stopping her. "What if I'm about to bail out and I don't even know it?" Lorelai asks.

"You are driving yourself crazy" Rory tells her.

"What if all the signs are saying things shouldn't be this easy, that I shouldn't get the guy I want? What if it's like that Twilight Zone where the woman on a horse is being chased by another woman on a horse who turns out is older her chasing younger her, trying to tell her that she should not run off with the guy she's going to run off with because it will be a terrible, terrible mistake" Lorelai that's. "Ok, King George, take a breath, eat a fry, and listen to me. The dress is a good sign" Victoria assures her.

"Everything fell into place because it should. It's all right. The dress is right, the date is right, Luke is right" Victoria insists. "And the snow. Remember the snow?" Rory adds. "Right the snow, the snow never lies" Victoria says.

"I guess" Lorelai replies.

"Be happy. This is all good" Rory tells her. "Thanks. I'm gonna miss you when you're murdered and stuffed into a dumpster by the Doo-Wop group" Lorelai jokes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Victoria's studying in her room when her phone rings.
"Hello?" she answers. "Hey, you know how you said Tristan showed up waiting for you out of nowhere?" Rory asks.
"Yeah, why?" Victoria asks confused. "Apparently it runs in the family" Rory sighs. "Logan?" Victoria asks her.
"Yep" Rory confirms.
"Tell me everything" Victoria lays down.
