Maxon's POV:
I quickly scanned the room, hoping to God there was no problem. America still wasn't here yet. I was missing her. I wished I could turn back time. The reason... there was no excuse for my behaviour. I was praying she forgives me. She's my world. I just hope... Whoops, I zoned out again. I turned my attention back to the group I was in. Carlton was talking animatedly, Queen Adeline and King George were laughing, but Princess Ashley was studying me. Suddenly her attention switched from me to the grand staircase, she softly hit Carlton on the chest and his eyes turned towards the stairs, bugging out and mouth dropping in shock. Adeline and George were now facing the staircase. And when I turned around, I nearly dropped my glass.
