The sound of your alarm blared, signaling that it was time for you to wake up. Groggily, you raised your hand and dropped it onto the small clock, just to hit snooze. When you heard something break, you raised your head, confused. You squinted, seeing that your hand had crushed the alarm clock.
"Oh my god." You mumbled, taking your hand away from the pieces of the alarm clock. You rubbed the sleep from your eyes. You pushed yourself up, realizing there was another body in the bed with you. She was faced away from you, her brown hair covering her face, only thing you could see was her bare back. "What the fuck happened?" You mumbled to the symbiote that lived within you, by the name of Venom.
"Haha, have fun dealing with that." He replied, chuckling. Of course, it wasn't aloud, it was in your head.
"Fuck you." You kept your voice low, not wanting to wake the girl up. "Seriously, who is she?"
"You'll see, y/n." And just like that, he went away. You groaned internally. When you got up, you realized that you were naked, you pulled on some shorts and your shirt, heading down to your kitchen.
You started to cook breakfast, making some more food, just for the girl that was in your bed. "If I make your favorite, would you explain to me?" Your voice was soft, but not whisper soft.
"I thought you wouldn't kill humans for me?" You wanted to face palm at his obliviousness.
"No, you idiot, bacon. If I make you some bacon, would you explain?" You placed a few pans on your stove, not yet heating it up. You went over to your fridge to grab some ingredients.
He hummed inside your head. "I'll think about it." You sighed, mixing some eggs and turning on the burner for only one. You felt venom come out of your body, he was trying to help set up the table while you cooked. "Move your legs."
"I'm trying to cook here, buddy, let me do my shit." You grumbled, not budging.
"Who are you talking to?" A voice asked, making you jump and Venom to retract into your body. You turned to find the girl that was in your bed. Which was your ex, Jenna Ortega. Amazing.
"Jenna?" You looked shocked as you placed a plate of pancakes down.
"Yes?" She sat down, grabbing a pancake and taking a bite. "You're acting as if we didn't fuck last night." You pursed your lips, nodding. You went back to the food you were cooking finishing it up.
"The fuck did you do last night, Venom." You whispered so that Jenna wouldn't hear you.
"Gave you the courage you needed. Pussy." You rolled your eyes at his comment, putting the rest of the food onto a bigger plate.
"Holy shit, that's a lot of food." Jenna's eyes widened at the food that you placed on the table.
You shrugged. "Got a big appetite." You grabbed another plate and piled a few pancakes, some slices of bacon and a bit of eggs. After some silence, you decided to ask the question that's been on your mind. "Can we talk about last night?"
"By the way, it wasn't a drunken mistake, you didn't have a drop of alcohol." Venom informed you, not wanting you to sound like a complete idiot.
"Well, uh, what did you want to talk about?" Jenna looked at you, but you avoided her eyes. Your heart started to speed, you didn't know what to say.
You opened your mouth, wanting to say something, but not having anything to say. "Did it- uh- did it mean anything to you?" You sounded really unsure, as if you didn't know what you were talking about.
"Do you want it to?" Jenna tried to catch your eyes, but you couldn't give in.
You kept quiet, trying to convince Venom to tell you more about the night.
"Can't you figure it out yourself?"
"Not without any clues."
"That really must suck."
"You got me in this situation, get me out or else."
"Or else what?"
"I will call those scientists."
"Woah! Chill! Okay, I'll tell you what happened. While I was going around as you, I found her, she wasn't in trouble or anything. She was like really cold, so we took her home. Then bada bing bada boom, she's in your bed with you."
"You fucked my ex girlfriend?"
"Actually no, you were the one who boned her, not me."
"How come I don't-" The memories of the night flooded your memory. "Oh."
"Y/n? Are you gonna say something?" Jenna waved her hand in front of your face. You blinked back to reality. "You zoned out there, are you okay?"
"Y-yeah, I'm fine." You stammered, feeling yourself flush. "Sorry, did you say something?"
"Do you want last night to mean something?" She asked, once more, concerned.
You clicked your tongue. "How would you..." You trailed off. "How would you react if I said yes?" Jenna felt a smile take over her features.
"Happy, I would be happy." She answered, making you nod.
"If it does, would we get back together?" You knew you dropped the mood a little, but you needed to know. You needed to know if she was ready for your crazy life. The only reason why you dumped her was because you didn't want to risk her and her safety, but you couldn't tell her that, so you just dumped her and left. You couldn't move on, she was your greatest love, but
"Can we?" She asked, biting her lip. You finally looked at her, you found yourself drowning within the eyes that you had fallen for. You found it so hard to not tell her, but you couldn't bring yourself to lie.
"Just tell her."
"I'm trying."
"You aren't saying anything."
"Please let me do this."
"Jenna- I-" You swallowed the lump in your throat. "Jenna, I have a parasite." You blurted out.
"What?" She exclaimed, very clearly shocked.
"Don't call me that." Venom materialized right out of your shoulder. Jenna let out a scream as you gave her an awkward nod.
"Jenna, this is Venom, my symbiote." You introduced, pointing your thumb at the blob. "I- well, he goes around, basically like spiderwoman but much more brutal."
"What does that have to do with this conversation?" She asked, still on edge and backed away.
"Go away," You waved your hand at him, where he goes back into you. "Do you wanna know the real reason why I broke up with you?" She nodded her head with a confused look. "Because of Venom. I don't want you roped into my crazy shit. I don't want you dying. I don't want you worrying about me cheating if I'm actually just out ripping some guys apart."
"If we're talking about danger, then I have something to say as well." You nodded, waiting for her to continue. "I'm Spiderwoman."
You let out a sound. "What!" Venom perked out of you, interested.
"Did she just say what I think she did?" You looked at him and nodded, you both turned to her in sync. "So, you're the one who's been doing actual good to the city?"
"You're the one who's been ripping apart pedophiles and murderers." Jenna retorted, making the being chuckle. "Wait, so if we date again, do I date you and it?"
You huffed out a laugh. "No just me, unless this idiot wants to take over my body again."
"That was one time!"
"That was literally last night." You argued, looking back at Venom. "Don't even think about doing that again.
"Wait so, I fucked your parasite?"
"Again, I'm not a parasite!"
You wanted to hit the symbiote, but you knew it wouldn't affect him. "You basically are." You went back to Jenna. "No, he just- no this is gonna sound weird. Nevermind. Do you wanna date me again?"
"Yes." She never hesitated, which made you flush. She grabbed you and pulled you in for a kiss. Just as quick as it started, it ended. She was brushing against your lips. "So, does he like live inside you or something?"
You just chuckled, fully pulling away from her. "It's complicated. I guess you can say, he lives in my skin."
