"John Hamish MacTavish." Soap's full name fell from my mouth with venom. My brows were furrowed and my tone stern. His body tensed, knowing he had screwed up and was in trouble. "What the fuck did you do?"

He had his hood up and he had been avoiding me all day. He never had his hood up. Especially since we were in Las Almas, which wasn't exactly a cold place. I anxiously turned the ring on my finger, my heart pounding in my chest.

The only conclusion I had come to was that he did something completely stupid while drunk last night with the guys. I wasn't able to go out with them, having to stay back and do some paperwork while also tending to some of my patients.

"Nothing." He said nervously. He was hiding something. I knew him too well. I could always tell when he was hiding something. After five years of dating his tells would always stand out like a sore thumb.

"Don't you dare lie to me," I snapped.

He turned to look at me and I could see he pulled the strings so only his face was showing. I narrowed my eyes at him. "It's not that big of a deal. It's totally fixable so there is no reason to overreact." He tried to reassure me.

"Show me right now."

"Bonnie, take a deep breath." He tried. He knew there was nothing he could say to convince me he didn't make a stupid decision. He pulled back his hood to reveal a sloppy, patchy, horrible haircut.

A gasp escaped my lips as my eyes widened. My hand came up to touch his hair. I was in disbelief. "How did this happen?" I asked.

"We went out last night, had a few too many and it just kinda happened. Ghost kept buying me drinks and Gaz had started daring everyone to do things and someone just threw it out there that I should get a haircut for the-"

"And you said yes!? You let those idiots cut your hair?" My lip quivered and my breathing was getting rapid and heavy.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry." He tried to apologize. "Darling I shouldn't have-" He reached forward, arms open to hold me but in my anger, I gently pushed his hands away. I turned and stormed out of our shared room on base.

Emotions ran through my veins as I stormed around trying to find my victims. Soap trailed behind me trying to get me to calm down.

"Darling, come on. Let's just take a moment. It's not their fault, I shouldn't have-"

I saw Ghost out the corner of my eye. I turned on my heels making a b-line for the scariest man on base. Usually, Ghost typically intimidated me, but right now I was on a mission.

"You son of a bitch. How could you do this?!" I shouted, storming right up to him. My finger jabbed into his chest and I slightly pushed him back. His eyes widened in shock. I don't think he, or anyone for that matter, had seen me this angry.

"I should have your head on a stick for what you've done. How could you let him do this?" I shouted. I noticed Price, Gaz, and Alejandro also in the room. "How could any of you let him do this? You encouraged him!"

"Darling, calm down. We can fix this-"

"Calm down? Are you serious?! I am furious! I am horrified by all of you! Look how patchy and awful it is!" Big crocodile tears started to fall down my cheeks. All four men had immense guilt sitting deep in their stomachs.

"We are supposed to get married in a week! Everything is planned, everything was perfect and you guys let him get the worst haircut known to mankind. There is no way it can be fixed for the wedding." I cried. I was panicking.

Price stepped forward and said my name.

"I have been dreaming about this day my whole life. I wanted everything to be perfect, it was supposed to be perfect." I hiccupped.

"Oh, bonnie. It's stills going to be perfect. It will still be okay." Soap said coming over and pulling me into his arms. I deflated into his hold.

"What if this is a bad omen. What if the universe doesn't want it to happen?" I cried.

Soap pulled back a bit, concern written all over his face. "What? You mean you don't want to get married?" He asked

"No! I mean yes! I mean-" I shook my head. "Johnny I love you more than anything on this Earth. I've never wanted anything more than to get married to you. I'll be happy with whatever happens. I'm just stressed and emotional. It just feels like everything is going wrong and I haven't gotten much sleep and I'm being overworked." I admitted.

"(Y/n)," He started. He didn't get to finish his thought as my radio crackled to life. After a moment of static one of the other medical personal stated that they needed my help with someone in the infirmary.

I sighed and told him that I would see him later before making my way out of the room and across base.

Soap felt worse than he had ever felt before, and he had been shot in the shoulder. Guilt was eating him alive. "Dammit." He muttered before leaving the room.

My head hung and rested in the palms of my hands. There was a dull ache in my elbows from how long they had been pressed into my desk, but I couldn't care enough to move. I was exhausted.

There weren't many happy moments being a combat medic, and right now was not one of them. One of my patients had taken a turn for the worse and unfortunately didn't make it despite my best efforts.

I felt cursed with bad luck. Nothing was going right and I felt bad for blowing up earlier this morning.

With a heavy sigh I pushed myself up from the desk and stalked back to my room. No one gave me a greeting or tried to talk to me as I passed by. Either they had noticed I wasn't in the mood, or they had heard about what happened earlier.

I pulled my gear off and dropped it on the floor before jumping into the shower to clean up and relax. When I freshened up and changed I climbed into the bed. After a bit I heard the door open. There was some shuffling around before the bed dipped and Soap climbed in. He seemed hesitant to hold me close like he usually did so I turned around and cuddled up to him.

He pulled me as close as possible, afraid I would disappear if he didn't hold on.

"I'm really sorry, bonnie." He whispered.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have overreacted. It's still going to be a perfect day, bad haircut or not." I told him. "I'm sorry I let my emotions and my exhaustion get the best of me."

"You had every right to be upset and there is no reason for you to apologize." He told me. "I did something stupid."

"It's going to be fine. Let's worry about it in the morning." I mumbled, already falling asleep to the beat of his heart.

He hummed in agreement.

"Well, I don't hate it." I admitted. I placed the razor on the counter and examined my work. It wasn't that bad. "It's definitely a 'Soap' haircut."

"What does that mean?" He chuckled. His eyebrow was raised in judgment.

"It just fits your personality is all." I told him. "All that matters is that you like it."

He got up out of the chair and took the sheet off of his shoulders. He walked over to the mirror and examined his new hair. His hand ran through the line of hair and over the short parts.

Though it was new and unfamiliar, the mohawk suited him. Made him look tough, yet still showed that he was a funny and kind person. It was hard to explain but I liked it.

"I do look pretty sexy, don't I?" He turned to me, grinning as he wiggled his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and chuckled as he picked me up. "I look great. Thank you." He thanked me.

"Just no more stupid or drunk decisions okay?"

He nodded and I placed a kiss on his lips.

"Ghost is gonna make fun of your haircut." I laughed.

"Yeah, well I'll get him back for it. They've got a long way to make it up to you for letting me do this in the first place."

"Very true." I pointed at him. "Come on. I'm hungry and I don't want to be cooped up in here all day."

We made our way across the base and to the mess hall. The rest of the 141 stared at Soap's new haircut as we sat down at their table.

"You look even more like a muppet." Price chuckled.

I gave him a slight glare. "You better hold your tongue or your beard will be the next thing shaved."

Price's eyes widened and he kept his mouth shut.

I had a feeling this hairstyle would be sticking around for a while.
