When we arrive at the restaurant-just as I was expecting-it's swarmed by paparazzi. I take one more deep breath before putting on a smile and exiting the car.
"Laggiù!" Flash. "How did they find out?" I mumble, waving at the camera. "I don't know." Amelia responds, her voice just as quiet.
[over there!]
The overly loud voices and flashing of the cameras can still be heard as we enter the restaurant and walk towards the servers.
"Oh how I love being famous." Sofia whispers as Marco signs the waitress's phone case. "At least you had a choice in the matter."

"I just don't understand why I can't look him up." Amelia states. All I can do is stare at her thinking 'what the fuck'. "You do realize how stalker-ish that sounds?" Jayden asks.
"Fine. You can describe him then." Amelia states, leaning back into the rocking chair. I let out a nervous laugh, "uhm, well, next question."
Jayden gives me a knowing smile before turning back to Amelia. "He's like this tall," Jayden starts, jumping in the air to show her.
"And he's covered in tattoos." Amelia cuts him off, "So he's hot hot?"
"I feel extremely uncomfortable right now." I say.
"It was her birthday?"
"That's what Nick said." Enzo shrugs. Great, so now I'm not only taking her on a mediocre date, but I also have to explain why I didn't know it was her birthday.
"But that was a week ago..." he trails. Thanks for making me feel better. "Well, are you just going to sit there?" Elsie asks, making her way into the living room.
"Where else would I go?" I ask. Bad idea. Elsie give me a glare, "you're never getting a girlfriend."

I feel like a fuckin' school girl; staring at my phone, waiting for my girl to text me back. It's embarrassing how whipped I am. I would walk on fuckin' glass if it made her happy.
