Aidens Pov:
A week it's been a week since I last seen or spoke to her. Iv sent multiple messages trying to get her to tell me what iv done wrong. She only reads them, never replies.
I could've went to the cafe to see her but but I didn't want to ruin a change of her ever telling me what the hell I did. Ever since that night I keep replaying everything we did. To when we were in the parking lot, to the car, to the cafe. All of it. I can't figure out what I did.
I should go to the cafe. I need to see her, it's driving me crazy. I don't want to push her to talk to me but I don't understand.
Walking into the cafe my nerves are through the roof. There she is standing behind the counter with her beautiful blond hair pulled back into a low ponytail, she has a few pieces framing her face, but her eyes, she looks so upset. Is it because of what I did? Is she upset because of me?
She doesn't notice me a first but when she sees me walking up to the counter her eyes light up but it quickly disappears. "Hey" I breathe out. She doesn't make eye contact with me.
"What can I get for you" she lightly smiles, she's still not looking at me. Seriously? That's it?
"Mia look at me" I beg her quietly. She looks up at me with her beautiful green eyes.
"Aiden I told you I don't want to see you anymore." She says annoyed, I see through it though, she's lying. Why is she lying?
"You're lying to me Mia, why won't you just talk to me, I'm here so please talk to me" I explain softly. I need her to understand.
She lets out a breath before she speaks. "Aiden just go." She said quietly. I let out a long breath before saying something that may ruin this all.
"Listen Mia, I know we just met but you drive me fucking crazy. Everything about you. I can't stop thinking about you, And your laugh. I want to know you, everything about you. Please just talk to me, tell me what I did. Tell me how to fix it so I can be your friend." I didn't take my eyes off hers the entire time I was saying this. She didn't move her eyes from mine either. She looks back and forth between my eyes before rounding the counter.
"I'm sorry Aiden, I shouldn't have ignored you. You didn't do anything wrong i promise." She wraps her arms around my torso and I immediately wrap my arms around her. This is the best feeling. "I get off in an hour, wanna do something?" She looks at me with a smile waiting for my answer.
"Of course, I'll think of some things we can go do while I wait." I smile down at her. I want to kiss her. I know I can't, she has a boyfriend and we just met. It's to soon, but I want to so bad. Instead I just lean down and kiss her forehead, her breath hitches and I smile against her skin knowing I have an effect on her. Hesitantly I pull away and go sit down at a table to look at some things we can do after her shift.
There's only one thing that catches my attention.

Mia's Pov:
After I finish my shift I walk over to Aiden who sitting at a table. He kissed my forehead, and I liked it a lot. It sent shivers through try entire body. I can't fall for him, it'll make things complicated. I'm with Elliot I have to stay loyal to Elliot. But Aiden is so much more to me a friend, I know he is but I can't have that. I have to make sure we stay just friends.
"Hey angel you ready?" He holds out his hand for me to take and I do. He hasn't told me here we're going yet. Once we get into the car my mind starts going wild.
"Where are we going?" I ask him suspiciously.
"It's a surprise"
"I hate surprises"
"You're gonna love mine" he drawls out the last word and I laugh. He hands me his phone so I can play music. I start with my favorite song by James Arthur, "Cars outside" Aiden seems to like this choice since he starts trying to dance in his seat while he's singing along, making me laugh.
We pull up to the ice skating rink and my eyes widen. "I can't skate Aiden" I say nervously. He just smiles at me and gets out of the car. He comes to my side to open the door and helps me out.
"You'll be fine angel, I'll help you" he says
"Iv never done this before, what if I fall and break something" I'm overthinking this.
"You're overthinking Mia, I'll be right next to you the entire time I won't let you fall" he promises.
We walk inside and goosebumps immediately rise on my arms. "It's freezing in here, i should've brought a jacket" Aiden takes his hoodie off and brings it over my head.
"There you go gorgeous" he smiles and I can feel the heat crawling up neck making my ears ting pink. I smile back at him and we start walking to the front desk.
I tried to pay for myself but Aiden insisted since it was his idea he should pay. I wasn't surprised since every time we go somewhere together he always pays. It makes me feel bad but he says he doesn't mind.
Once we get our skates we sit down to put them on, Aiden gets his on before me because I don't really know what I'm doing. "Um, can you help me" I say quietly. This is embarrassing, what person can't put on skates. He gets on one knee in from of me and starts to put the skates on. His hand brushes my leg and it sends heat all throughout my body. I shouldn't feel these things for him. It's wrong.
After Aiden gets my shoes on he stares up at me and rest his hands on my knees. My breathing increases with the way he's staring at me. He looks so good it's hard to not kiss him. I want to kiss him. I wish it was that easy.
I slowly bring my hand up and gently run it through his hair, he lets out a shaky breath and looks at my lips. "Mia what are you doing to me" he lets his head hang down, I want him to look at me, I love it when he looks at me. I bring my hands to each side of his face and make him look at me, I bend down a press a soft kiss to his cheek, I pull back a smile at him. He stands up and grabs my hand and starts to walk towards the ice.
"Aiden I'm nervous" I pull on his hand.
"Angel I promise i got you" he stokes that back of my hand with his thumb and pulls me to his side.
We step onto the ice and I immediately start to fall but before I can hit the ground Aiden wraps his arms around my waist from behind me. He pulls me back up and keeps his hands around my waist.
"Damn angel you didn't even last 5 seconds" he
laughs.
"Shut up" I laugh and smack his arm that's around my waist which only makes him laugh harder. He carefully comes to the front of me and takes ahold of both of my hands, I let out a shaky breath and he nods his head to reassure me. He slowly skates backwards while holding onto me once I get the hang of it he lets go but stays in from of me. We skate around the rink a few times just talking and laughing. I fell once and he kept apologizing saying he meant to catch me it just happened so fast, he looked like he really felt bad. All I could do was laugh which made him laugh too.
Eventually I needed to go back home. We got off the ice and Aiden helped me take my skates off. We walked out to the car and headed towards my house.
"Thank you for today Aiden, it was fun" I look over at him and give him a smile that I hope shows how thankful I am. He glances over at me before turning back to the rode.
"Anything for you Mia, anytime you need a break call me and I'll be here." He promises. I reach over and grab his hand that's sitting on the console and intertwine our fingers together. I can hear him suck in a breath at the contact and I get brave and bring his knuckles up to my lips. I softly place my lips on his skin and his hand holding the wheel squeezes it so hard his knuckles turn white. I like this effect i have on him, it's the same one he has on me. It's different than Elliot. Aiden makes me feel like I am someone, like I'm the most important thing in this world, Elliot makes me feel like I'm nothing, like I don't deserve anything good.
We pull up to my house and Aiden comes around the car to open my door for me. He walks me to my front door and we just stare at each other for a moment. Aidens eyes trail all over my face, taking in all my features. His hand comes to rest on the side of my jaw where my birthmark is and he slowly runs is thumb across it. "You're so beautiful Mia, everything about you is so beautiful." He whispers bringing his face closer to mine. He rests his forehead on mine, our faces so close I can feel his breath on my lips.
"Aiden" I breath out.
"Say it angel" he begs looking into my eyes. "Tell me what you want" he adds
"Aiden, I want you to-" I'm interrupted by that voice that sends me into full panic mode.
