"She looks pretty okay to me" Sam walked in the house after Demetri. She had driven there as fast as she could when Demetri told her what happened.
After the encounter at the ice cream shop Halley had driven to her house and had started cooking pasta without another word from her. Demetri didn't think much of it until he saw how much she had put on her plate. The amount of pasta in her plate, which looked more like a bowl, was enough to feed at least six people.
"That's literally not even half of what she originally served on the plate. She already ate most of it" now Sam's eyes widened, Halley only eats that much when she's either stressed, angry or upset. And by the amount of food she put in her plate it was easy to say she was all three of them
"Alright. It's bad then" Sam nodded
"Hell yeah it is" Demetri nodded
"You know I can hear you, right?" Halley looked up from her phone
"Right" Sam murmured while sitting in front of her cousin "Are you okay?"
"Yes" she simply answered shrugging
"That's a lot of food" Sam pointed out the obvious
"I'm aware" Halley nodded dropping her phone "But I've decided that is a waste of time to be full of hate when I can be full of pasta instead"
"You are burying your hate with pasta?" Sam felt the need to snort
"Yep. Tomorrow when I'm not full of pasta I'll probably be cursing all of them and screaming how much I hate them. But for the time being I'd rather do this" she pointed to her food "Now, don't ruin my mood and fill me in on how your afternoon went" Sam smiled as her cheeks flushed
"Robby and I kissed" she blurted out
"I knew it!" Halley stood up from her chair "Pay up, Demetri" she extended her arm to the boy who just rolled her eyes and groaned
"Couldn't you guys wait another week?" Demetri complained as he put fifteen dollars in the brunette's hand
"You bet on if me and Robby were gonna kiss?" Sam raised her eyebrows amusingly
"Technically we bet on when were you guys gonna kiss" Demetri said also sitting down on the table
"We kinda knew it would happen" Halley said putting her money on the case of her phone
"One day that case is gonna explode if you keep putting things in there" Sam told her cousin as they watched her struggle putting the phone case back on
"I've been telling her that for years now" Demetri rolled his eyes

"Look at that" Nathaniel pointed at the floor
"What is it?" Halley grabbed it and her eyes widened "Holy shit!" she said when she recognized it
"Hey, guys, check it out!" Demetri called Sam and Robby that were most likely kissing inside "Look what we found" Halley gave the medal to Sam "It was just sitting in these rocks"
"Is that Mr. Miyagi's medal of honor?. That's crazy. We looked all over for this"
"Huh. Must have been here the whole time"
"Uncle Daniel is gonna be beyond happy when we tell him" Halley said

"No way in hell" Halley said
"Come on, it'll be fun" Sam insisted
"Last time you said that Yasmine crashed her car" the brunette raised her eyebrows
"This is different" Sam practically begged
"No, Sam. I refuse to third wheel you and Robby"
"You can bring Demetri" Sam shrugged
"Yeah, right" Halley snorted "Because Demetri is coordinated enough to get on a pair of skates and skate graciously into the sunset" Sam sighed defeated
"Can you at least help me find something to wear?"
"Now that, is something I can do" Halley always loved to play dress up, as a kid she would drag Sam to either of their mom's closets and they would spend hours playing with their clothes and make up

"The whole snake squad was there" it was around one in the morning and Halley was having the best sleep, that was until Sam called her, very angry after being kicked out of the roller rink "Tory, Miguel, Hawk, Angela, Erik. It seems like they just go everywhere together now" she could feel her cousin's frustration over the phone "She pushed me and then I lost it. God! She's the worst" and Halley didn't doubt it but she just wanted to go back to sleep so bad
"Yeah, I know. But she's a Cobra Kai, what were you expecting?" Halley laid back down on her bed "Listen, Sam, it's almost two in the morning. How about you come to my house tomorrow and we can complain together about them while eating ice cream?"
"Right, yeah, it's late. Sorry for waking you up, Halls"
"It's no problem. Goodnight Sammy"
"Good night Hally"
