Halley was right. Daniel took them from melting in the sun to freezing their ass off. The good thing about it was that Demetri finally made some progress.
"Me and Demetri are gonna go get an Ice cream. Wanna come?" Halley asked Sam as they were exiting the place
"No, I-" she hesitated and looked back at Robby, Halley smiles cheekily
"Oh, I get it, don't worry. Go ahead and find your lover boy" Halley teased
"Not my lover boy" Sam denied
"Yeah, we'll see about that" Halley raised her eyebrow suggestively and went to her car where Demetri was waiting for her
"Sam's not coming?" He said as they both got onto her car
"Nope" she turned the car on "She wanted to 'hang' with Robby" she made quotation marks with her fingers
"Oh" Demetri shrugged but then his eyes widened "Oh!" he said now understanding making Halley laugh
Halley drove to her favorite Ice Cream shop she discovered when she was 12 with Sam and Daniel, then it turned into one of her favorites places to go with Demetri and Eli. She thought Demetri deserved a price for his small achievement in practice and she also used that as an excuse to go get ice cream because it's always a good option to get ice cream

The Ice Cream shop was one of the best in town but for some reason not many people knew about it. That was the main reason they picked it as their hang out spot, Demetri and Eli, specially Eli, hated crowded places, specially if they could potentially find Kyler and his goonies
The current topic for Demetri and Halley was the death of Gleen Rhee in The Walking Dead, they were both obsessed with the show and the death of the asian character had devastated them both, Halley thought it was unnecessary for that to happen and Demetri refused to agree with her
"It. Was. Ridiculous" Halley stated with a pause after each word as they walked in the shop
"No, It made sense. It was needed for the development of Maggie's character" he continued with his argument
"She already had lost her Dad, Sister and basically her entire family it wasn't necessary to also kill the father of her baby" she said as the sat in their table
"Yes, it was. She needed to be completely alone for her character to grow" they were both being stubborn with the matter and not even after they ordered their ice cream and ate them they could come to an agreement. Halley got up from her chair
"I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be back and this isn't over" she pointed at him and walked slowly backwards glaring at him. The last thing Halley expected when she came out of the bathroom was seeing Hawk, Erick, Angela, Tory and some other Cobra Kais in the shop "Fuck" she whispered as her eyes widened. She walked quickly to her table where Demetri was on his phone oblivious to the group of Cobras right behind him "Demetri, get up. We gotta go" She whispered-yelled in a rush
"What? Why?" He looked up at her confused
"Just get up" She said in the same tone. She was so adamant to leave as fast as they could because they were outnumbered and if a fight were to break out she and Demetri would definitely lose, he wasn't ready to fight anyone yet and even if he was it would still be seven against two. Demetri got up and his eyes widened when he finally saw the reason of rush
"Oh" he said in realization
"Yeah, 'oh'" Halley grabbed Demetri from his forearm and started to pull him towards the exit praying to every god up in the sky that they would be able to leave without any problem. But it seemed as if her prayers weren't heard
"Well, look at what we have here" Erick's voice was heard from behind them making Halley stop dead in her tracks also stopping Dem with her. She closed her eyes tight and cursed under her breath "You weren't thinking of sneaking out without saying hi, right?" Her grip in Demetri's arm tightened before she let go and turned around, Demetri did the same
"As a matter of fact, that's exactly what we were doing" she glared at all of them "Honestly, we weren't in the mood to hear your hissing and shrieking it gets kind of annoying after a while" the sarcastic smile they had dropped from all of the Cobra's faces, Erick gave a step forward trying to intimidate her, but she didn't move an inch, Demetri did gave a step back. Erick looked Demetri up and down
"You know, I always knew you were a slut but being so desperate to fuck two best friends and him" he pointed at Demetri leaving his arm raised "Being one of them is other level of pathetic" that made her blood boil, he could call her slut all he wanted, but messing with her friends was off limits
"I'm not like you Erick" she took his hand in hers and put it down "Not because you are a whore means everyone around you is. I think you are just projecting" he was gonna launch at her but a hand on his shoulder stopped him. That hand was Hawk. Halley had been avoiding looking at him all this time but she did and it was the biggest mistake she could have made. His hand was interlocked with Angela's, the blonde was looking directly at Halley with the biggest smirk
"You are a bitch. That's why nobody wants you and nobody will" that hit her hard, his words always did, after he broke up with her she was very affected for a long while, he was a manipulator and an abuser, she knew that well but that didn't stop his words from piercing her heart
"It's kind of hilarious to see you try to hurt me because you have no intelligent thing to say against me" she went to walk away but once again stopped to look at him in the eye "Whoever I'm fucking is none of your bussines. At least I can pull something, you on the other hand..." she made a hand movement and turned around, grabbing Demetri and walking away from the store and into her car.
That last comment had a history behind it, before Erick left and after he broke up with her, he got with a girl, he tried to do the same thing he always did, he went on talking shit about her but the girl instead of denying it, she embraced it. And she did it in the best way possible, she started to talk so much shit about him, how he was terrible in bed, how his dick almost didn't got hard and how he finished in five minutes. He was so embarrassed he convinced his parents to move out of the valley. The girl had graduated already but she was still and icon to all of the girls who got humiliated by him
"You okay?" Demetri asked once the car was in movement
"I'm perfectly fine" she wasn't. But her brain was still processing things, she hadn't fully understand what had happened, she was sure once things settled and she had a moment to peacefully think it would finally hit her, but at the moment she was fine

And here comes the drama. I honestly love writing angsty scenes, it brings me so much joy to just reveal my character's past little by little.
Also, I'm so sorry for the long wait, I almost died (i really didn't, i just got sick and I'm dramatic) so I wasn't able to write much at a time :)
