CHAPTER THIRTEEN—
i need you to trust me.

"Blake, hurry!!" Bianca yelled as Blake ran after her, meeting Enid and Ajax down in their secret club meeting area.

"Bianca, Davina, Blake, and Kent?" Enid stared in betrayed. "Seriously, even Kent is here? How exclusive is this club?"

"So, what's the deal with Thornhill being a psycho?" Bianca stared after Enids very wordy and ranted voicemail she left.

"She murdered Weems and then took Wednesday to Crackstones crypt." Ajax informed the group with a serious look. "She groomed and tortured Tyler into being her Hyde."

"Tyler's with them?" Blake questioned as he nodded. "Shouldn't we go?"

"No, we need to get everyone in the school to safety before it's too late." Enid shook her head as Ajax unfolded a painting.

"Cause this is what's coming." he turned it to them.

"What about Xavier?" Blake's mind went to him. "How safe could he be at a police station that thinks he did something he didn't?"

"Safer there then here." Ajax said back honestly.

"So do we pull the fire alarm?" Kent looked around for feedback on his idea.

"We don't want to cause a panic and alert Tyler or Thornhill." Davina looked over at him with a shake of her head. "So how do we get everyone out?"

Bianca turned back to her. "We'll use our siren song to convince them."

They all removed their necklaces as Enid picked up Thing. "Thing and I will go look for Wednesday."

"Ajax and I will try to get a hold of Xavier, or someone." Blake said confidently as Ajax nodded. "Enid?"

"Yes?" her eyes widened as she looked at her.

"This might sound insane, but you have to trust me on it. If you find Tyler, do not kill him." Blake stated as Enid went to ask. "Just trust me, okay? It's not about him. It's about me."

"Then okay." Enid nodded. "I do trust you."

"Okay. Nightshades forever." Bianca announced as they all did their neatly practiced snap.

"Seriously?" Enid look in disbelief. "A secret snap too?"

Thing made a motioned toward Blake. Making her stop. "Wait, Thing has something to say?"

He signed as her face lit up. "Thing, you're a freaking genius! Hurry!"

"Wait, what did he say?" Ajax ran after her as Thing jumped from Enids hand and ran behind her.

"Xavier!" Blake yelled from the edge of the woods, seeing him running her way with Thing close behind. "Hey! Hey!"

"Blake?" he yelled and ran in her direction. "Are you behind this?"

"I'm so glad you're okay." she air hugged him as she practically melted away into his arms. "We have to hurry, get everyone out of the school as fast as possible."

"Where's everyone at?" he ran after her.

Thing signed to Blake as she nodded. "Go to Enid, we can handle it!"

"Blake!" Xavier yelled as he took off after her while Thing went the opposite way.

"Just trust me on this, I need you!" Blake looked back at him to yell as they ran back to the school, met with the courtyard on fire and people running for safety.

"Where do we go?" Xavier looked around in worry, his hand trying to lock with hers. They moved as a tree fell that had caught fire.

"The front." Blake encouraged him to go as the pair ran toward the direction of town. The Nevermore gates were welcoming as everyone crowded outside, piled together via siren song.

Blake hit the barrier, making her yelp as it knocked her back.

"Blake." Xavier turned quickly with wide eyes. "Shit. I f-"

"It's okay." Blake stopped, she'd forgotten too. She stayed there as he kneeled with her. "It's okay, Xavier."

His eyebrows frowned together, the look on her face. "I'm not- are you stupid? I'm not gonna leave you here."

"It'll be okay. I'm already dead." Blake stood up as he did the same. "You can't die too, and you will if you don't go."

"I'm not abandoning you in all of this." even if it made sense, he couldn't do it. "Blake."

"It's okay." she told him again with a sad smile.

"You can't stay here. Even as a spirit, your body will be destroyed at your grave and you'll start to fade if it's gone." Xavier told her the facts, they'd learned about it all after she came back and they went over every way in order to keep her here. "We have to go get it."

"No." Blake shook her head as she looked back. "You can't go back in there, it's insane. You'll get hurt."

"I'm not gonna loose you to this!" he yelled at her.

"I need you to trust me." Blake stared up at him with a pleading look. "I need you to just trust me on this one. I can handle it."

He went to say something before Blake cut in again. "I have rallied on you for everything ever since I have died. And I love you for that, even before, you always protected me and did so much for me. But, I have to do this on my own. I need you to trust me."

Xavier eyed her as he breathed heavy. Blake didn't wait for a response, taking off quickly. "Blake!"

She ignored him, running deep into the woods. She looked around quickly, listening closely. Blake took off toward the growling noise, knowing who it belonged to. She ran through a few tree barks and made it to the hyde and the fur fighting to the death. Blake backed off in fear, but remembered what had been at stack. "Tyler!"

A gun shot went off, the Hyde dropped to the ground and began to morph back into a human boy. Panic flooded Blake's body. "No. No. No!"

She ran over to kneel above him. "Shit, shit. No, no, no. Tyler, wake up. Tell me where it is. Please?"

"Blake?" the sheriff kneeled with her, he'd been the one to fire the gun. "What are you talking about?"

"I was suppose to keep him alive so he could help me." she cried, shaking her head as she leaned over Tyler. "He's not breathing, sheriff."

He felt his sons heart, she'd been right. "God. Tyler."

Blake was stuck, she was stuck here and her body would be taken away soon with the fire, making her spirit turn into nothing. She cried as she looked back were the fire was forming, sooner or later making it to the place she was kept. Blake looked back at Tyler's body, her ghost tears falling down her cheeks. And then she saw it, right in the corner of her eye.

"Sheriff." Blake spoke fast as she panicked, staring at him. "Your taser."

"What?" he was trying to mourn the fact that he'd just killed his son.

"Your taser." she said back to him quickly. "Shook his heart with it. I read about it, it's been done. Hurry."

Sheriff Galpin yanked his taster. Blake put her hand on the part of Tyler's chest he needed to put it at. "Here."

He did it, leaning down to listen if there been a heartbeat after. "Come on, Tyler."

He did it again, his head leaning down as a loud sigh of relief left his lips. Blake didn't need to hear it to know, Tyler had been alive. She leaned over him. "Tyler. Tyler, wake up. I really need you right now! I'm gonna disappear."

"Blake." the sheriff stated, getting her attention as she followed his gaze. Her right hand had disappeared.

"Tyler!" Blake sobbed. "Please! I'm sorry, I tried to keep you alive. I came as soon as I knew where you were. Please, help me!"

There was a flutter, movement behind his eyes. Blake leaned down close to his ear, the faintest of mumbled leaving his lips. "The well."

"The well." Blake repeated, it wasn't far. Blake laughed sadly as she leaned down over his body and cried harder. "Thank you. Thank you so much! Thank you for this. I'll make sure they don't put you on the death penalty, okay? I promise. I promise you."

"Blake." he mumbled again. "Go."

The sheriff nodded, Blake looked down as half her arm disappeared in the long sleeve dress. She stood up. "Thank you, Tyler. You saved my life."

And she saved his.

Blake ran, she took off as quickly as she could. The well was close, Blake ran to it and searched all around, her eyes locking with a loose brick on the side. "Shit. No, no. N-"

Thing came running through the woods after he helped Enid. "Thing!"

He jumped off and yanked the block away, grasping one of the tubes. Blake saw he tried to grab the others. "We'll come back. We have to hurry, my body's dying!"

Thing ran after Blake as fast as he could, the two made it to the mausoleum that had been half way on fire. Blake floated through the wall fast as Thing opened the door and hurried in. "Hurry, Thing. Be carful, don't get burned!"

He did just a little, weakening but jumped on the other side of the coffin when getting it open. Blake's arm had been catching fire, that's why she was disappearing slowly. She hurried to jump into the coffin and lower her spirit down onto her body. Thing pushed her mouth open and poured in the liquid before having to jump down, the fire getting too close

"Thing, go!" Blake's voice echoed, but it wasn't coming from her body. Not her, the one hundred count hadn't gotten here yet. "Go!"

Things hand grabbed hold of Blake's, pulling her out of her coffin. He wasn't strong, he was just a hand, but he pulled her as much as he could.

The door flew open, Blake felt hands grab ahold of her and yank much faster. Her body was laid out on the grass infront of the fire caught mausoleum.

"Blake, are you in there?"

"Wake up."

Blake gasped as her eyes shot open, seeing Wednesday Addams staring down at her.

"Wednesday." Blake gasped, then the pain set in as she squeezed her eyes. "It hurt."

"Get up." Wednesday pulled Blake to her feet, her arms locked around her waist as she pulled her. "Work with me."

"I'm alive." Blake spoke through pain. "I'm alive."

Wednesday wrapped Blake's arm around her, hers around her waist as she cringed at the affection. She pulled Blake with her, burnt arm and all as they got through the forest slowly as Blake fell in and out of consciousness.

Xavier sat down on the ground and breath heavy, rubbing his head as he watched the school catch fire in certain parts, destroying slowly but surely. His eyes shut when he knew everyone else was out here, because it wasn't safe inside. It wasn't safe one bit, but everyone else had the ability to leave. Not her.

"Xavier." Ajax spoke quickly, grabbing him by the shoulders tightly as the boys red eyes met his wide ones. "Xavier, dude. Look!"

He stood up, looking over. There were two figures heading their way, blurred from the shadows and the dark sky. As they got closer, Xavier would have recognized that dress anywhere. Better yet, the way she looked different, the way she was outside of the school. "Blake!"

Blake snapped her eyes open again, seeing a blurry figure running to her. "Xavier?"

He grasped her, freeing Wednesday to be attacked in a hug by Enid. Xavier hugged Blake tightly as he breathed heavily. "I thought I lost you."

Blake's knees weakened as he caught her, holding her. "Blake?"

"You didn't loose me." she promised as he cradled her limb body. "But...I need some help."

He noticed her arm, looking back as kept holding her. "Call the ambulance."

Blake smiled through pain and the fact that she was falling in and out of sleep. "Xavier, i'm alive."

"I can see that." he laughed sadly as he cradled her on the ground. "We're gonna get you some help."

"I'm gonna be alive for a really long time." she whispered to him as her eyes danced with the stars. "I know the cure. It's me and....you."

She drifted, but she was still alive. Xavier pulled her in tighter as he felt her heartbeat against his own. "Me and you."
