2:39 A.M.
You rubbed your eyes as you slowly began to wake up. Katsuki was still on the ground fast asleep. I should go back to my room and let him sleep on his bed... He can't possibly be sleeping comfortably on the ground. You put on your slippers and tried waking Katsuki up but he was in a deep sleep.
You sighed, slowly picking him off the ground and placing him in his bed. You were surprised he still didn't wake up but you were even more surprised to find out he was lighter than you had expected. You took your phone out to quickly send him a text telling him you went to your room so he wouldn't be confused when he woke up but you saw a bunch of missed calls and texts from Shoto... It was late so you decided to ignore them for now. "Nighty night."
Something hit your foot when you made it out of his room. Since it was so dark out in the halls, you had to use the flashlight from your phone to see whatever was in your way. "Shoto..?" He was still asleep even when you flashed your light on him. Even though you guys had that altercation earlier, you couldn't just leave him there on the cold, hard floor.
"Shoto... wake up." After a few soft nudges, he woke up. It took him a minute to realize where he was and what was going on, but once he fully woke up, he quickly sat up. "Y/n..."
"Go to bed, Sho. See you in the morning." You stood up to leave but he grabbed your wrist before you could. "Y/n, please... Can we talk?" You gently removed your wrist from his grasp without looking back. "It's late. Goodnight." He watched as you walked away, deciding it was best to let you go for now but at the same time, he didn't wanna let you go.
When you got to your room, you headed to your bathroom to wash your face. "My eyes are all puffy..." Seems like the swelling from crying hadn't gone away yet. You sighed, putting your hair up and slipping on your bunny headband. The bunny headband Shoto gave you...
But someone came knocking at your door before you could even start your face routine; it could only be one person. "Shoto, you really should go to bed." As expected, your boyfriend was on the other side of the door. "Y/n, please we need to talk. We can't go back to sleep without resolving this first." Even though you were possibly angry at him, he couldn't help but think about how cute you looked wearing that bunny headband. "Okay, come in..."
Shoto sat on your bed while you continued to stand. "Your eyes are puffy..." He of course felt terrible for making you cry. "I'm sorry about what I said, Sho. I shouldn't have told you how to feel." He shook his head, grabbing your hands and pulling you closer to him. "No, you don't need to apologize. I came here because I wanted to apologize to you."
He softly played with your fingers as you stood in between his legs. "I apologize for what I said to you earlier. You're always there for me. You're always listening and giving me great advice. I just got so angry when I think about what my old man did to my mom and I took it out on you. It's not an excuse but I hope you can forgive me." A small smile played on your lips as you leaned down to kiss your boyfriend.
"Of course. Thanks for apologizing." He wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you down onto his lap. Shoto was just relieved this conflict was over between the two of you. Seeing you so upset because of him made him feel so shitty. "I really am sorry, Y/n. I'll never talk to you like that again."
He held on to you tightly as you played with his hair. "I don't actually think you were being hypocritical. You know what Kohaku's true motives are. You know he won't actually change but my old man is trying to change... I know that too but I can't help but think about the abuse he put us all through. Any advice, love?"
After you left his room earlier, he thought about what you said and he thought you were 100% correct. He just hoped you were up to tell him what was on your mind. "If you really hate your dad then I think it's fine to not be able to forgive him. But you're a really kind person, hun. It's one of the reasons why I love you. So to me, it looks like you're waiting. I'm sure that's the phase you're in right now. These kinda things take time. You're not gonna be able to forgive him so quickly."
And of course, he thought you were right. He still can't believe he let himself take his anger out on you. "Also, I wanted to ask... Why were you asleep outside Katsuki's door?" He softly chuckled before looking up to face you.
"A while after you left, I went to go look for you. I went to your room but you weren't there. I called but you didn't answer so before going out to look for you, I went to Bakugo's room to see if you were there. Thankfully, he told me you were." Shoto didn't look roughed up so that meant Katsuki didn't try hurting him... At least, that's what you hoped. "He was really angry with me. Rightfully so. He told me you came to him crying but you had fallen asleep eventually."
"Did he wanna kill you? I had to stop him from going over to your room." He nodded a bit, "Yes he did. I asked if I could see you and he threw me against the wall. He told me the only reason he wasn't 'blasting my fucking face off' was because you told him not to do anything... Either way, he didn't let me see you so I stayed there until you came out." Well, at least he had SOME restraint. "Let's go to bed, Sho."

The very next day (or later that day if you wanna be technical), you were all finally back from your work studies. School activities would've resumed like normal but since they were doing this whole school dance thing, they were giving you guys very little time to prep for the dance.
Which of course means it was time to hit the mall with your girlfriends! A lot of the Class A boys were at the mall too but they had their own things to shop for of course.
You and Shoto were avoiding each other as much as possible. Not because you guys were mad at each other, that problem was solved last night. But because you really wanted to keep the outfits you two would be wearing a surprise. Shoto went with it since you were being so passionate about it. He let you pick the colours too! A simple black and red combo.
"I'm so glad this dance was approved! But you'd think they'd set the date for the dance a little bit later... Why is it in 2 days?! We just got back from our work studies!" You all agreed with Mina. But you guys have the school the benefit of the doubt since this would be their first school dance too.
It had been about 2.5 hours since you all arrived at the mall and you guys have been to at least 5 stores. All the girls had already found their outfits for the dance but you. You were having trouble finding your outfit. There's been a lot of cute dresses but none that made you absolutely fall in love.
"Y/n, Y/n! Try this one on! It's perfect for you!" Hagakure came running up to you with a dress in her hands. "Wait that's so pretty!" All the girls began to push you to the dressing room, they were pretty excited about the dress too. "I'm going I'm going!"
Even in the changing rooms, you could hear your friends whispering outside about how cute the dress was. You haven't even put the dress on yet but so far, you were really excited about it. Bless Hagakure for her great taste.
You quickly changed into the dress and gasped as you saw yourself in the mirror. It was a beautiful long red dress with lace going down it and a slit on the side. The back of the dress was really pretty too! The straps were thin but they wrapped around your back in a stunning way. It left your back pretty exposed but you didn't mind.
"Shh shh, she's coming!" Your friends quieted down as they anxiously waited for you to finally reveal how you looked in the dress. "How does it look?" Their faces said it all, they all loved it as much as you did.
"Wait Y/n, put this on too!" Uraraka came up to you with a black fluffy shawl and wrapped it around your arms. The seven of you began to squeal in excitement and all types of compliments were thrown your way. You were so glad to finally have your outfit completed.
Those two hours were worth it but you were seriously getting close to settling for a dress you kinda liked. "Dress: Check. Shoes: Check. Jewelry: Check. New makeup: Check. Girls, I think we're finally set!" You all cheered as you left the store. It was a shame you guys had to wait a few days to put everything together but hopefully, those few days will go by fast.
"So, Y/n... I heard Todoroki was wearing black and red to the dance too. Are you guys going with each other?!" Mina teasingly questioned which made the rest of the girls coo in excitement. You of course played it cool and told them it was just a coincidence. "Guys, black and red is a pretty common combination! And what about you, Uraraka? Is there a certain someone you wanna go with?"
That was enough to turn the attention on Uraraka and now all the girls were going 'ooohhh!' "I-I'm not going with Deku!" Her face was bright red as you all continued to tease her. "No one mentioned him Uraraka~" She stammered, trying to come up with some kinda excuse. "Okay fine, we'll stop teasing you! But that says a lot you know..."
You were glad you were able to divert the attention away from you. Though, it was at Uraraka's cost... At least we won't have to keep this a secret much longer. But I will admit, it was fun while it lasted. I'll kinda miss sneaking around.
"Oh hey, girls. How was the shopping?" Said Kaminari as you all ran into each other. Shoto and a few others were there with him but thankfully, everything you were planning to wear couldn't be seen. "We actually just got done! We helped Y/n get this really pretty r--" "Y'know if we're all finished shopping then we should go get something to eat. How does hot pot sound?"
After all these months of secretly dating, you've gotten pretty good at redirecting conversations and no one really seems to realize it. And with that, you all made your way to the nearest hot pot spot.

It's been a day since you and your friends spent the whole day shopping and eating out at restaurants which meant tomorrow was the first U.A. school dance.
But that wasn't really the main thing on your mind, really. You were too busy admiring your boyfriend's sleeping face. Damn, he's pretty... Of course, you already knew this but the more you look at him, the prettier he gets!
"I do feel kinda bad though... he's so worn out." The work-study mixed with yesterday's very long outing, poor Shoto was completely drained. So you guys decided to spend the day at your house since there was really nothing else you guys needed to do.
Shoto originally planned to go see his mom then go back to the dorms to practice something but you convinced him to come back to your house to relax after seeing his mom.
But as much as you wanted to stay there on the couch with him admiring his beauty, you were starting to get hungry and you were sure he would be too once he woke up.
Slowly, you began to pull away from him and you were almost out of his grasp but he pulled you back down. "Where are you going, sweetheart?" His voice was so groggy as he spoke. "Sorry I didn't mean to wake you. I was gonna make us something to eat."
He held onto you tighter, shaking his head. "Don't go. We can order something just don't leave yet." You softly chuckled and settled back into his arms. "Go back to sleep baby. You're still tired."
"No. You'll try to leave again when I go back to sleep." He was of course right but it didn't hurt to try. "Okay fine. What if we order the food now then we go back to cuddling and you can go back to sleep? I might fall back asleep too." He thought about it for a second before sitting up.
You giggled as you saw his messy hair and sleepy face. He was squinting as his eyes slowly got adjusted to the sunlight peeking into the living room. "Deal." You chuckled and fixed his bedhead for him. You could tell he was still so tired; he practically melted in your hands as you softly fixed his hair. "You're pretty." You lightly chuckled. "You're not even looking at me. Your eyes are closed, Sho."
"I still think you're pretty." Smooth as ever. "Thank you. I think you're pretty too." This wasn't the first time you've ever called him pretty but it always fills his stomach with butterflies. "Are you excited about tomorrow?" He nodded with a bit of a shrug.
"I am. I'm sure it'll be fun. But I'm more excited to see you in your outfit." You giggled and quickly pulled out your laptop to order you guys something to eat. "I'm excited to see you in your outfit too. Just tell me is it--" "Y/n we said we were going to keep our outfits a surprise. You can't ask if I went with a black suit or a red one."
You pouted a bit and he leaned in to place a peck on your lips. "I'm more excited to tell everyone we're dating." Your heart began to race but in a good way. "I am too. Oh god, yesterday Mina overheard you talk about the colours you'd be wearing to the dance and then all the girls started questioning me! But I turned the attention onto Uraraka. But soon we won't have to do that any longer."
Shoto smiled at the thought of finally telling his friends and classmates that you were his. He wasn't sure how you guys were going to do it but he was excited either way. Everyone would know the pretty, smart and strong girl in Class A was his girlfriend. "I'm kinda craving Korean fried chicken... Can we get that? There's this place I've been wanting to try. I always see it on social media and it's always positive. I just hope it won't take long because they always seem to be busy even on the weekdays."
Shoto lovingly nodded along as you went on another one of your tangents. He always thought it was a cute habit of yours, especially when it was something you were passionate about. Like your favourite show or a funny video you saw or a new book that you were reading. At first, you would get shy when you realized how much you were talking but he always made sure to reassure you that he loved hearing you talk. He could listen to you talk for hours and hours. You talked and he always listened.
He just never knew he could love someone so much. And every day that passes by, he falls harder and harder for you. You were just a girl in his class who for some reason couldn't leave him alone. But you still somehow made your way into his once old, closed-off heart. You showed him it was okay to love and be loved. There was a time when he was considering stopping talking to you and he's glad he never went through with that stupid idea.
"Anyways, the food is coming soon. Also, there's this anime I wanted to watch but I've been waiting to watch it with you. I thought you'd like it." You grabbed a big fluffy blanket to cover both of you. "What's it about?" He said as he pulled you in close.
"It's about this guy named Denji, he's about our age, who was living in poverty because his father took out a bunch of loans from the loan sharks but his dad took his life before he paid it all off so now he's left with all the debt and then he found a devil named Pochita and they became best friends and-- You know what, let's just watch it."
He chuckled and kissed your forehead, "Sounds dark. Put it on." Shoto was never one to care about what was on TV but you introduced it to him a while ago and he actually enjoyed it. The shows and movies you two would watch together ranged from a lot of genres but he loved horror the most. Of course, he thought they were fun to watch but he enjoyed the way you would tightly cling onto him whenever a really scary part would come on.
He found it cute and funny the way you can go up against dangerous villains but some made-up haunted doll is enough to make you bury your head in his chest. Sure, he'd get spooked too but he tends to hide it pretty well.

"How come the next episode isn't playing?" Shoto said as he helped you clean up the food you two had finished. "Sorry babe, it's still ongoing. But a new episode should be coming out tomorrow."
He slightly pouted but at least he didn't have to wait all that long for the next episode. "Can we watch it tomorrow then? After the dance?" You happily nodded. "The food was good, huh? You really seemed to enjoy it... You still even have some sauce on your face, Sho."
He is face went a little red, embarrassed that he didn't notice the stain on his face. He truly did enjoy the food that much. "Don't worry, I got you." You wiped away the spicy chilli sauce from his face with your thumb. "Thank you. The food was good." You giggled, licking off the sauce on your thumb. "See, I told you it was gonna be delicious." You place a peck on his cheek and carried the dirty dishes over to the sink.
"I'll wash these so you can go lay down, Shoto. I know you're still tired." You were right, he definitely was still tired and wanted to go back to sleep, especially after the big meal you two shared. But, he didn't wanna just go to sleep without you.
So, he quietly walked his way over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and placing his head on your shoulder. "I'll wash these before we go, just come sleep with me, love."
"It's just a few dishes... I'll be quick, promise." Shoto was the touchy, clingy, cuddly type which you always found adorable. And he became even more clingy whenever he was tired so it was pretty hard to say no when he was being so cute. But you wanted to get the dishes over with before you two go back to cuddling.
"Please?" He placed soft kisses on your shoulder, slowly moving up to your neck. His action sent a shiver down your spine which he of course noticed. "You're evil, you know that?" He chuckled and placed one more kiss on your neck before picking up a soapy dish. "Then I'll help." As much as you tried denying his help, he insisted on it.
You two quickly finished up the dishes and Sho was ready to finally go back to sleep with you in his arms but... "We have to get back to the dorms; it's already late, hun." He groaned in response, poor Shoto. "I know, I'm sorry. But Mr. Aizawa will kill us if we're not there before our curfew." So you two quickly cleaned up and made your way back to the dorms.
"We're telling everyone about our relationship. Are you ready, Y/n?" He grabbed your hand and gently gave it a squeeze. "I am if you are. Are you sure you wanna do this?" He nodded, "Of course I do. It's been fun keeping our relationship a secret but I'm glad everyone will know you're my girlfriend."
"You're so cheesy. I love you, Sho." You placed a kiss on his lips, "I love you too."

Day of the Dance
U.A.'s first official school dance is finally happening today and everyone spent their day getting ready for the big night. You and the girls went to go get your nails done since it was the last thing you guys needed to do. Unfortunately, the cute nails would have to get popped off after tonight since you can't really do hero work with acrylics on...
Now, you were just finishing up your whole look and wow... "I look hot." This was the first time in a long time that you dressed this fancy and it seems like your inner beauty guru really came out today.
"Just some perfume and I'll be set!" But there was a knock at your door just before you could spray on your perfume. "Come-- Wait, who is it?" You hoped it wasn't Shoto just yet since it still wasn't time for the two of you to see each other. "Katsuki."
"Oh sure come in!" You watched him walk into your room from the reflection of your mirror. He was wearing his signature colours, very fitting!
You turned to face him with a smile on your face, "How do I look?" A very small but noticeable smile appeared on his face. "You look pretty." Needless to say, you were caught by surprise. "Oh? I was expecting 'you look stupid' or 'terrible' but thanks Katsuki. You look great by the way." You were planning to say he looked like a tamed pomeranian but since he was being nice then you were gonna be nice too. You sat down and motioned for him to join you. "So, did you need something?"
He handed you a box with a cute bow on top, "Merry Christmas, Y/n." Your eyes widened as he held out the gift for you... "First, you actually compliment me then you hand me a gift? Am I dreaming? Is the world ending?!" His eye twitched as you teased him a bit, you couldn't help it! "SHUT UP AND JUST TAKE THE DAMN GIFT!"
"Fine fine!" You lifted the top and on the inside was a rectangular brown box surrounded by Christmas-coloured tissue paper. And when you opened it up, a ballerina began to spin as a music box started to play. "Kinda corny but I always see you with some kinda jewelry so I thought you could put it in there. Or something else, just use it."
You hugged Katsuki and he went stiff for a second but he eventually relaxed his body. "You're a really good friend y'know... I love it. Thanks a lot." It's nearly been a year since you met Katsuki and he's changed a lot since you first met the hot head. There are still things that need to change but that's another conversation for another day. "So, you and Hald-and-half are back on good terms?"
You nodded, "Yeah, he apologized and it was really genuine so we're good now. Also, he told me that you threw him up against a wall and threatened him after I told you not to do anything..." He sighed, preparing himself to hear an earful from you but instead, you held your fist out. "Thanks for that."
He chuckled and returned your fist bump. "I'll see you out there. You girls are taking forever." He got up and left before you could kick him but you'll get him later. Before you finished up, you took a quick picture of yourself.
You've been taking a lot of pictures and videos of you and your life for a while now... Usually, you'd only take the occasional picture or video but now that Keigo was on his mission, it was pretty much impossible to see him. You guys couldn't even text each other but you still wanted to document your life so you could share it all when his mission is over. Whenever that would be... "Here we go."
You walked out your room and it looks like the other girls just got done too and they all looked amazing! "You guys look so good!" You all shared a hug and complimented each other on the outfits. "You girls ready? We wanna go now!" You all turned to see all the boys coming out of the elevator. The plan was to meet all on the main floor but you guys got a little caught up fangirling over each other... Oops! "Sorry guys. But how do we look?" Mina said.
The boys gave you all great compliments... Mineta's comment was a little pervy but Jiro shut him up before they could get worse. The only one staying silent was Shoto. His breath was taken away the minute he saw you.
And you thought he looked amazing too... His red and black suit looked great on him. You've never seen him look so fancy but you were really liking it. "Woah, looks like Todoroki and Y/n got the same colours. How funny is that?" Kirishima brought the attention onto the two of you and your heart began to race.
It's not like your friends would be against your guys' relationship or anything so why were you getting so nervous? "Y/n and I are dating. We should get going now." Shoto simply grabbed your hand and walked out, leaving everyone going 'WHAT?!'
"Shoto wait, we can't just say that and leave." You chuckled and stopped him for a second "Why not? They know now. Also, you look really beautiful." He placed a kiss on your forehead and you began to laugh because you were nervous for no reason. And on top of that, Shoto's nonchalant personality was so funny to you. He really just left like it was nothing.
"THERE THEY ARE!"
"YOU GUYS ARE DATING?!"
"HOW LONG?"
"TODOROKI HOW DARE YOU DATE Y/N WITHOUT TELLING ME?!! YOU MONSTER!!!"
Your friends finally caught up with you two and they began to bombard you guys with questions. Mineta felt betrayed but it's not like he had a chance with you anyway..! "OKAY, GUYS! Look, sorry we didn't tell you all sooner but we just wanted to keep it private at first. And to answer your question, we've been dating for 8 months."
Slowly, all the things you and Shoto would brush off as you two 'just being friends' clicked in their heads. They just wondered how you guys did it so well without them finding out and for 8 months?!
Uraraka came up to you and gave you a hug, "We're just glad you guys are happy. You guys are cute together! But we should really get going before Mr. Aizawa yells at us." You all shivered at the thought of getting on your teachers' bad side...
He's a great teacher but he could be really scary. You still think about the time Midoriya and Katsuki got scolded by Mr. Aizawa for leaving the dorms to fight... You weren't even there for the scolding but just hearing Katsuki talk about it made you scared..!
"You all are finally ready. You kids look great. Let's go."

After some time in a limo, you all finally made it to your destination! "Woah... This place looks huge!" Sero was right but not only was it huge, but it also looked so fancy. "You all can have fun but make sure to behave or else." You all responded with a quick 'yes sir' and made your way into the building.
"Oh, what's this?! Class A being the last class to make it to the dance?! I'll have you all know we were the first ones here! YOU ALL ARE DESTINED TO FAIL!!" Monoma said as he began to do his weird evil laugh. "Anyways, you guys wanna go to our table?" You all were pretty much used to his weird antics so you guys just started to ignore him whenever he got like that. And thankfully Kendo takes care of him before he could follow you guys.
You looked around at all the pretty decorations and all the U.A. students. Everyone was having a good time dancing and eating. It kinda reminds me of the hero parties my dad used to take me to. Except there was booze in the drinks. It was so hard to find non-alcoholic drinks! you thought to yourself. "Why don't you sit, Y/n? I'll bring us something to drink." He pulled your seat out for you and pressed a kiss on your forehead once you sat down.
"Didn't think you two would reveal your relationship tonight. Now I don't have to make excuses on why you two are so close." You took this chance to punch Katsuki for his snarky comments. With an extra bit of force for his earlier comment. "Shut up. But thanks for all your help Kats."
Shoto came back with drinks in hand and sat down next to you. "Thanks, Sho!" You took a good sip of the fruit punch but before you could get another word out, you were being pulled away by your friends. "Come on, Y/n! This is our song!" Mina was basically screaming because of the loud music. "Mina, we don't have a song!"
Mina brought you to where the rest of the girls were and began to dance. "We do now! So dance!" Admittedly, the songs that were being played were really good and you were already out there so... You began to dance! "Y/N! Promise we'll still hang out even though you're dating Todoroki!"
You chuckled, "Guys we've been dating for a while now and it hasn't stopped me from hanging with you guys!" They all looked at you with pleading eyes, "Yeah but you two were secretly dating! Now you're public now so promise you won't forget us!"
You thought 'forgetting them' was a tiny bit dramatic but you could understand where they were coming from. There are lots of times when someone will get into a relationship and then stop hanging out with their friends. It's so sad! "I promise! Now stop being so sappy! We're here to have a good time!" They all agreed and the 7 of you continued to dance for a couple more songs.
And after dancing for a while, the girls went to go sit down and catch their breath for a second while you went to go grab drinks for them. How am I gonna carry all of these? Would I get in trouble if I used my quirk? You were busy thinking of ways to bring all 6 drinks back to the table so you didn't notice a certain someone walking up to you.
"Are you trying to figure out which is yours? It's best to just grab a new cup." You turned your head to look at the guy with the familiar voice. "Shinso! I can't believe you actually came!" You smiled widely and gave him a quick hug. "I wasn't gonna come but my classmates convinced me so... You look good, by the way. The dress suits you." He said as he rubbed his nape.
"Thanks! You look great! You clean up pretty well Shinso. I'm glad you came! Also, these cups are for my friends. Can you please help?!" He nodded, picked up a few cups and helped you bring them over.
When your classmates saw Shinso, they all began to say hi, ask him how he's been and ask if he's trained more. Your class was full of talkative people while Shinso was the total opposite. Even though he was a bit shy, you could tell he was a little happy they weren't treating him like a villain because of his quirk. They talked to him like they'd all been friends since forever!
But you noticed one thing; Shoto and Katsuki have been sitting at the table this whole time! They haven't gone out to dance yet and you sure weren't gonna let this slide. "Y/n, I'm gonna go back to my table. I'll see you around."
Shinso was just about to leave but you quickly ran in front of him before he could go any farther. "Wait wait! Just... wait here okay? Okay great!" You walked away before he could say anything. He wasn't gonna just sit out the whole time either!
You had to find two of your close friends: Midoriya and Kirishima! Luckily, you were able to see those green and red spikes not too far away. "Guys! I'm gonna need your help!" You pulled the two boys away from the dance floor,
"Alright, we don't have much time! We got a mission. Katsuki, Shoto and Shinso are currently sitting around when they should be dancing. I got Shoto, Midoriya you get Kat-- Bad idea, he might wanna kill you so you take Shinso. Kiri, Katsuki can tolerate you so you get him. Convince these guys to go out and dance, 'kay?" The boys responded with a 'yes ma'am!' because of your fierce attitude!
Thankfully Shinso was still there so the plan was in full effect! "Sho! My lovely, very good looking, strong, amazing, talented boyfriend... Will you please come dance with me and our friends?" He was caught off guard so it took him a second to let your words sink in. "Sure. You didn't have to say all that but thank you, sweetheart."
That was easier than I thought... You looked over at Shinso and Midoriya and it seems like he was able to convince him! Katsuki and Kirishima on the other hand... Poor Kirishima was having a bit of a hard time but you knew just what to say to get him to dance. "You know what Kirishima, we should just leave him. We probably dance better than him anyway..."
You all began to walk away and left the hot head behind. "Y/n, I don't think--" "Just give it a second." And before you all could step foot on the dance floor, Katsuki appeared right in front of you. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" You had to suppress your laughter so you could reel him in further.
"I mean, if you can prove me wrong then be my guest." He glared at you before grumbling something about 'being better' and 'he could totally beat you.' "See. It worked out great!" You all made your way over to where your class was to dance!
You had a great time dancing to a ton of songs with all the people you love and care about. Even Katsuki had fun but he'd never actually admit it. Him saying 'it's not that bad' told you all you needed to hear! Shinso eventually got more comfortable dancing with you guys which was a relief. And Shoto said he was having fun too! You never knew your boyfriend could dance. Well, he was a bit stiff but eventually, he loosened up and danced more freely.
You took plenty of videos and pictures to admire later but also to share with Keigo of course. So far, this night has been one of the best nights of your life.

"Alright everyone, it's nearing 2 AM so enjoy the last few songs. Grab someone and get close because we're gonna slowwww down."
Everyone was bummed that the night was ending soon but lots of great memories were made tonight and hopefully this would become a yearly thing in U.A. "Y/n, let's dance." you looked up to see Shoto holding his hand out and you, of course, took it.
He pulled you in close and you wrapped your arms around his neck. The two of you began to slowly dance to the music as you held each other close. "This night has been fun. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would." You chuckled, "Why do you say that, Sho?"
He took your hand and twirled you around. "It's loud and crowded. But dancing all night with friends... With you... Being able to hold you close without having to make excuses. It's been fun and I hope we can do this again one day." You smiled and pulled him in for a deep kiss. "I hope so too. I have our next colour combo if U.A. does this again next year. Green and white!"
He smiled warmly at you and leaned in kiss your forehead. "I like that idea." You giggled and pressed your head against his chest. You could feel butterflies in your stomach and your heart was full of love. You never thought you'd be this happy with someone ever. Did you believe in soulmates? At first no. But after meeting and falling in love with Shoto, you started to reconsider.
But soon, the song was over and you and Shoto went back to your seats. "I'll be back, Y/n. I'm going to the bathroom." He kissed your forehead before rushing away. You kinda wanted to dance this slow dance song too but those virgin Piña Coladas must've gotten to his stomach or something. "Don't get comfortable let's go." Katsuki pulled you away before you could even sit down.
He pulled you out to the dance floor and put you in a dancing position with him. "Katsuki, there are nicer ways to ask people to dance!" You didn't mind going out to dance again but you were just confused why he was in such a rush. "Some girl from another class won't leave me alone even after I told her I didn't wanna dance. She's looking over here. Turn."
He twirled you around and you could see the girl he was talking about. She had long green hair and a gorgeous dress. You had no clue who she was but she was really pretty. But she also was glaring at you... Yikes. "So that's why I felt like someone was staring at me?" He nodded.
"Well anyways... I didn't know you could dance either. You and Shoto surprised me today." He scoffed and shook his head. "Yeah, Half-and-half couldn't dance for shit. He convinced me to teach him and--" He stopped himself mid-sentence and tried to change the subject. "No, no, no, Bakugo Katsuki. You taught Shoto to dance?"
Again, he tried to change the conversation but you didn't let him. "You gotta tell me, PLEASE! I won't make fun of you I promise!" You pushed harder and harder until he finally caved in. "Fine. Around the time you got sick, he came to me and asked me to teach him how to dance. Anyway, I'm gonna go now."
You stopped him from escaping because you knew there was something he wasn't telling you. "So all those times you two would go train was so you could teach him how to dance?!" You tried your hardest to not laugh but thinking of THE Katsuki teaching your boyfriend to dance was so funny to you. "Don't laugh asshole. He got the regular dancing part down but he struggled with... Slow dancing. Don't make me finish the rest of my sentence, I will kill you."
You swallowed the urge to burst out laughing. "Thank you for teaching my boyfriend... I owe you, don't I?" He nodded and the two of you continued to dance. You tried to ignore the burning glare of the girl who wanted to dance with Katsuki but it was not that easy. "I should go check on Shoto. He's been gone for a while now but there's about 3 minutes and 48 seconds left on this song so... You should go ask Kirishima to dance with you."
Although it was a bit dim in the banquet hall you guys were in, you could still see the blush that appeared on his face. "The hell are you talking about?!" He tried to hide his flustered face but he wasn't doing a good job at it. "Oh, Katsuki... I see the way you look at him and I see the way he looks at you. And I mean he's been staring at us this whole time. Turn!" You twirled him the same way he twirled you to look at that green-haired girl.
"I love you the way you are Kats so don't worry about coming out to me. I know." You pulled him in for a hug and ruffled his hair. "How the hell did you know? Is it obvious?" You shook your head, "No not at all but I've known for a while now. We're best friends. I can tell these kinda things. Plus that girl you shot down is hot! No straight dude is turning her down!"
He chuckled and glanced back at Kirishima. "Thanks... I love you too or whatever." You smiled to yourself as you watched him ask Kirishima to dance with him. He probably could've done it in a more... romantic way but Kirishima doesn't seem to mind his antics. "They look so cute... Best wingman award goes to me."
"Y/n." You turned to see your boyfriend walking up to you. "Hi, babe. Are you okay? Did the Piña Coladas not sit right with you?" He chuckled and grabbed your hand. "It's not that. Follow me, will you?" You nodded and let him take you to wherever it was he wanted to take you.
After walking through the sea of U.A. students, you two walked out onto a large balcony where the view was beautiful. The stars were out, the moon was full and there was a lake you guys could see. "Shoto... How did you know they had this out here?" He smiled seeing you amazed by the view. "I researched this place before we came."
You rested your arms on the railing, "Aww... They really chose the best night to have this dance. The sky is beautiful, right, Sho?" You were waiting to hear a response but you never got one. But he wasn't looking at the sky, he was looking at you. "What is it?" He couldn't help but look at you with such loving eyes... "Nothing, honey. You're just really beautiful." He leaned in and kissed you. A kiss that was so sweet, so passionate, so gentle.
"I have something for you. Close your eyes." At this point, there was no way you could stop your boyfriend from gifting you things even after you tell him not to spend his money on you! He told you the only way he'd stop is if you stopped doing the same and there was no way in hell you'd stop doing that. "Open." You opened your eyes to see a bouquet of water lilies with a small black box in the middle. "Just accept these. Please, love."
You grabbed the beautiful bouquet which smelled so nice. "Shoto I... I don't know what to say." He grabbed the small black box from the bouquet and opened it, revealing a white gold ring. "I'm not proposing but one day, I want to. I know we're still too young to be thinking about this far into the future but... I really love you, Y/n. You make me happy and I don't want a future without you in it. I'm not saying we should get engaged when we graduate. We can do it when we're both ready but I promise, I'll make you my wife one day. Only if you want, of course"
Shoto swears he's not great with words but there are tears forming in your eyes right now... You never felt so loved. You wrapped your arms around him and he lovingly embraced you. "Thank you for falling in love with me. I love you so much. So you better make me your wife one day!" You couldn't help but cry but they were purely tears of joy.
He wiped your tears away and kissed your forehead. "Here, give me your hand." Shoto gently grabbed your hand and slipped the ring on your finger. "It fits perfectly... Wait I never told you my ring size." He chuckled, "I measured it once when you were asleep. I wanted to keep this as a surprise."
"Y'know out of context, that sounds very creepy. But it was a great surprise so thank you." You giggled and kissed your boyfriend. "We can hear the music from out here and I think it's the last song for tonight... May I have this last dance?" You nodded and placed the flowers down to have one final dance for the night under the moonlight.
