Hyewon woke up due to the sunlight lightly hitting her face. She sat up and looked at the digital clock placed on the desk beside her bed. '6:00am', the clock displayed as it blinks.
Hyewon turned to the window, seeing that the sun is just staring to rise. She stood up and tidied up her bed before stepping out to her room's balcony. She stayed at the balcony for a little while, just staring at the sun as it marvellously rise into the horizon, that was until she heard a knock on her door and Dasom calling her.
She opened her door only to be greeted with Dasom looking at her worriedly, her eyes frantic. Hyewon saw the look at Dasom's face and she raises her brows expectantly, waiting for Dasom to explain what's going on.
"What's with the look, Dada?", Hyewon asked confusedly to the latter. "Ma'am... Sir Donghyun wishes to see you at the office... He already ordered me to tell you this last night but I forgot... I'm sorry Hyewon-ah", Dasom said as she bows her head apologetically at the younger.
Hyewon raises her brow even more after hearing Dasom. "What is it again this time?...", Hyewon mentally expressed her exasperation towards her father. "Let me just fix myself then I'll be on my way... Don't say sorry Dada. Its not your fault", Hyewon said with an assuring smile on her lips.
"Thank you, Hyewon-ah... Then I'll wait for you downstairs so you can at least have breakfast before you go...", Dasom uttered, returning the smile before turning away and walked downstairs.
Hyewon closes her room door and got her stuff ready. She took a bath and wore formal clothing. She sighed deeply before going out of her room and walking down the stairs.
Dasom saw Hyewon coming down the stairs and she gestured the young to sit down and have breakfast. "Come here and have breakfast...", Dasom said, to which Hyewon nods to.
"Oh- before I forget, I also have something to do after meeting with Dad so I think I won't be home until dinnertime...", Hyewon said before taking a bite of the egg roll Dasom cooked.
"Okay, take care", Dasom replied, giving Hyewon a glass of water. Hyewon took it and uttered a short 'thanks' before gulping it down. Hyewon finished eating after a few more bites and she stood up immediately, getting her keys on the table and went out but not before waving to Dasom who waved back at her with a warm smile to go along with it.

Ms. Lim went out of her office after finishing the one that she left the night before to meet up with Eiji. Eiji was a good friend of hers and it's been a while since he last came back to korea. They talked over the phone about how they've been and whatnot then Eiji suddenly suggested to meet up.
Ms. Lim accepted it as she also wants to catch up with Eiji and have some time to relax from all the work that's been drowning her these past few days.
Ms. Lim reached the café where Eiji and her were supposed to meet. Ordering her drink, she sat on one of the vacant spots by the glass walls. She looked out of the glass walls, seeing the people walking by, probably going to their workplace or school.
After a few minutes, she heard someone call her name. The culprit being the person she just talked to on the phone a few hours ago. The man walked towards her with a smile. He sported a simple but sophisticated clothing but even simple clothes can't hide his lean physique.
"Hey, Eunju... Its been a while, isn't it?", Eiji muttered as he sat infront of her. "Yeah... Its been years since you last came here... I was surprised when I suddenly got a call from you..." Eunju replied with a soft smile.
"Hm... Well its a long story... My daughter doesn't even know that we're here...", Eiji said with a chuckle. Eunju raises her brow at that as Eiji can't even keep a secret from her daughter, she loves the girl too much.
"Well before we continue, I'll just order my drink... Did you already order yours?", Eiji said as he got up from his seat. "Yes, I already did...", Eunju answered which got a nod from the latter before he walked to the counter to order his drink.
He soon came back and sat on his seat again. "We have a lot to catch up on, don't we?", Eunju muttered, chuckling as she spoke. "Why did you suddenly come here again? I thought your work in Japan has been prosperous?", Eunju asked the latter, genuinely curious as to why he came back.
"Well... Opportunity came and I grabbed it...", Eiji started off. "Besides, I miss my daughter", he continued with a grin. "What exactly do you mean by an opportunity coming to you?", Eunju questioned.
"Hm... An extra special case was given to me and I had to come here since the patient lives here", Eiji uttered with a smirk. "Extra special case?" Eunju repeated, bringing up a frown on her face.
"Kang Hyewon"
Eunju widened her eyes hearing the name uttered by her friend. "Hyewon is the case that I'm working on right now, Eunju-ah", Eiji said seriously, his eyes looking intently at Eunju. "H-How? How is she?", Eunju shakily asks, her hands trembling under the table in between them.
"At the beginning, she was a very fragile and almost a cold case.... But then, she started opening up little by little... You daughter's getting better, Eunju-ah", Eiji said with a sincere smile on his face as he stared softly at his friend.
"Thank god... Please... Please, Eiji-ah... Look after Hyewon for me...", Eunju pleaded as she looked at Eiji. "Of course, Eunju... That kid is an interesting one...", Eiji mumbled with a chuckle.
The two talked over their drinks and catched up with everything that they can talk about. Their talk lasted for almost 3 hours and if it weren't for the nurse calling Eiji to consult a patient, they would have continued chatting away.

Hyewon got to the company building and is now walking to her father's office. She was greeted by the employees passing by her, some of them are seemingly frightened by her, to which she just shrugged off.
Once she opened the door of her father's office she was greeted by the sight of her Dad sitting on his desk with a man sitting across him. They were having a conversation when Hyewon entered without knocking.
"Finally, come here Hyewon-ah" Donghyun said as he noticed Hyewon's entrance. Hyewon raised her brow at her father's usually soft tone. Regardless, she walked towards them and looked to the man sitting across his Dad.
"Greet Mr. Lee Daewon... You probably can't remember him since you last met him when you were still a child", Donghyun said as he gestured the man. Hyewon bowed politely at him, still wary over him.
"Is this really Hyewon? You grew up to be a beautiful lady, aren't you?", Daewon uttered with a slight laugh. "I called you here today to meet Daewon, you'll soon meet his son also...", Donghyun said as he looked intently at Hyewon.
"Just what are you plotting?", Hyewon mentally said as she glared at her father. She's already suspicious of her father suddenly allowing her to get therapy and then this happened.
The tension between them intensified that even Daewon noticed it and cleared her throat to shift their attention to him which succeeded. "I think I'll have to get going now, Donghyun-ah... Hyewon, I'll see you next time", Daewon said with a smile before shaking hands with the both of them. Daewon walked out of the room, leaving Hyewon and Donghyun at the office.
Hyewon immediately went out of the office not before glaring at her father one last time. She breathes deeply as she tries to calm herself. When she got to her car, she checked the time and saw that its still early.
She just decided to go to Eunbi's a bit early as she has nothing more to do at her father's building. Turning her engine on, she speeds off the place, hoping that the rest of her day will be better.

"Eunbi-unnie! Eunbi-unnie!", Areum shouted as she jumped on the older's bed, trying to get her to wake up. Eunbi groans at the noise and slight opened her eyes being greeted by the sight of the little girl grinning at her.
"Baby... Don't jump on the bed... You might fall and hurt yourself...", Eunbi sleepily mumbled as she wrapped her arms around the girl protectively. "I'm sorry", Areum uttered with a pout on her face.
Eunbi chuckled and patted her head. "Just tap Eunbi-unnie next time, okay?", Eunbi said as she looked at the younger expectantly. "Hm!", Areum hummed in agreement, even nodding as she jumped to hug Eunbi.
The little girl giggled as she tightens the embrace. "Will you wait for unnie while I fix myself?", Eunbi asked the girl softly, recieving a nod in return. Eunbi got off from the girl's embrace and went to the bathroom to fix herself.
After a few minutes, Eunbi came back and carried Areum in her arms before walking out to the living room. Jieun saw them and smiled seeing the two. "Good morning, Eunbi-ah... Good job waking up Eunbi-unnie, Sweetie", Jieun remarked which caused the little girl to grin proudly.
"Let's all have breakfast then you can go get ready Eunbi", Jieun said as she motioned the two to come to the dining room. They all ate happily as they enjoyed their breakfast.
"I'll just take a bath unnie", Eunbi excused herself after eating and walked to the bathroom again, this time to take a bath. While Eunbi was taking a bath Areum was playing with her dolls at the living room with Jieun silently watching her while working on her laptop.
When Eunbi got back from her bath, Jieun then said that she also has to take a bath and left Eunbi with watching over Areum.
After a few minutes, the doorbell was rang and it echoed throughout the house. Eunbi got up to open the door and saw Hyewon smiling at her as she does so. She was wearing a navy blue suit covered by a white coat.
"You're here early... Come in first", Eunbi said she opened the door wider for Hyewon to enter. The younger hesitantly steps inside the house and went towards the living room with Eunbi leading the way.
Hyewon caught sight of a kid having her back facing her playing with toys while sitting on the floor. "Areum-ah, Eunbi-unnie wants you to meet Eunbi-unnie's friend", Eunbi called out which caused the said child to turn around and face them.
"Wahh! Kwangbae!", Areum exclaimed pointing directly at Hyewon, shocking Hyewon and Eunbi. "Her name is Hyewon, Areum-ah", Eunbi said after recovering from shock.
Areum shakes her head and repeated that her name is 'Kwangbae' to which Hyewon just shrugged at when Eunbi looked at her awkwardly. "Kwangbae is the name of her doll so I'm a bit surprised when she called you that 'cuz as far as I know its her favorite one", Eunbi explained with a whisper to Hyewon.
To say that Hyewon was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. She was fluttered and happy that the child called her by that name if it means that she likes her.
"Well I'll leave you two there for a minute and I'll just grab something at the guest room... Behave Areum-ah", Eunbi said as she looked at the two. Areum nods with a grin before going back to playing with her dolls while Hyewon just smiled and sat on the sofa, watching the little girl as she giggles and talked to her toys.
"Kwangbae-unnie... Your Eunbi-unnie's friend, right?", Areum suddenly asked Hyewon which caught her off guard and only managed to nod stiffly. "Do you like Eunbi-unnie?", the little girl said as she cutely tilted her head as she looked at the older's flushed face.
Hyewon hesitantly nodded her head, not sure what did the girl meant when she said 'like'. "I like Eunbi-unnie too!", Areum said cheerfully as she waved her doll in her hand. "She always takes care of Areum when Mommy is not home", Areum continued with a grin.
"Then do you like Areum too?", the little girl asked with a cute pout perfectly painted on her face. Hyewon smiled sweetly at the kid and lifted her hand to softly pat the girl's head.
The little girl was stunned and only managed to have her mouth on a small 'o' shape as she looked at the older patting her head with a sweet smile.
"Oh, I see that Eunbi's friend is already here...", a new voice rang through the living room causing Hyewon to turn around at the source of the voice. She saw a familiar woman, the same woman who bumped into her at the office.
"Oh-eh?! WAIT? MS. KANG?!", the woman said, her eyes widening as she looked at Hyewon. Eunbi then came rushing to them thinking that something happened.
"Mommy what's wrong?" "Unnie, what happened?", Eunbi and Areum asked simultaneously. Jieun then suddenly bowed, "Good morning, Ms. Kang", she greeted the girl politely which caused Eunbi be further puzzled at what exactly is happening and so she lightly elbowed her cousin and asked why she's acting like that.
"That's the daughter of my boss... Your friend here is the one I mentioned to you last time"
