Danielle and Y/N had been engaged for 6 months now. Their graduation was in a week with their wedding being the week after that.
Even though they had gotten closer, Danielle hadn't succeeded in making Y/N fall for her... meanwhile she was head over heels.
Y/N was the chivalrous and played the role of a fiancé well but only when in public or being watched.
- Dani POV -
"Okay, how about our cake? What flavor to you like it?" I asked Y/N while we sat in the university's dinning hall.
"Ms. Marsh, can't we just let our parents arrange all this stuff? I mean is this really necessary?" Y/N asked in turn.
"No, this is our wedding. I want it to be our way not some generic arrange marriage pre-package" I responded.
"Also Y/N, I've told you. You can call me Dani or Danielle if that makes you feel more comfortable," I added getting annoyed.
"Fine, Dani. I don't care. You plan the wedding however you want.... I'll make sure to show up," Y/N said coldly then grabbed their things and left.
Y/N had been acting weird lately, more moody than usual.
I just ignored it and continued on to the plan the wedding. I had 24 hours to submit all our requests in.
It was stressful to think we were about to get married.
We had picked out our future home, my dress and their suit, planned the wedding, signed our prenups, and all that was left was just to graduate and get married.
Our fathers' were the most pleased with the marriage. They had already drafted up their business contracts, all they were waiting for was our wedding.
"Guess, it's time for class," I whispered to myself and went down to my class.
After class ended, I rushed down to my car to catch Y/N.
"Hey, do you want room hangout?" I asked.
"No," Y/N coldly answered.
"Okay, what's the matter with you lately?" I asked finally having enough of their behavior.
"I just want to be alone. Everything right now is too overwhelming. Everyone should just be happy I'm ever going through with this!" Y/N angrily said then got in their car to drive off.
I gave Y/N the space they wanted for the rest of the week.
During the graduation ceremony, We both hugged and kissed for the public. It was a bitter sweet feeling to kiss in public. I always enjoyed it even though I knew Y/N could probably care less.
After the ceremony we were forced to go on a date.... unlike other dates we've had in the last 6 months this one was just like our first.
Y/N didn't talk the entire time and Y/N kept being rude.
Y/N was driving me back home when I finally got the courage to ask again.
"Y/N, what's wrong? Why are you being like this?" I asked.
I didn't get an answer.
My father was waiting for us at the gate when we arrived.
Y/N got their actors cap on, parked in front of my house, then got out to go around the car and open my door.
"How was your date?" Father asked us.
"It was good," Y/N answered.
"Dad, can you give us a minute?" I asked father. He nodded and then walked back into the house.
"Okay, you're pissing me off! Don't lie like that," I angrily said.
"You spend 6 months being somewhat nice to me and now that the wedding is just around the corner you completely digress! If you hate me that much you could have saved yourself some thing and not gotten me to fall for you!!" I screamed at the stop of my lungs
"Why won't you answer me!?!" I screamed starting to bang on Y/N's chest out of frustration.
"Because, I'm starting to like you!!" Y/N screamed back holding my wrists.
I was shocked by the sudden confession but I was still upset.
"What does that have to do with your behavior lately?!" I yelled in anger.
- Y/N POV -
Danielle was beyond upset with me. She kept on yelling.
"So, what does that have to with how you've been treating me lately?" Dani asked trying to get a hold of herself.
I took a deep breath and finally answered her, "Dani... I didn't sign up for this feelings stuff. I signed up for a marriage. It's not like I've never thought about maybe liking you down the road but I didn't expect it to actually happen before the wedding at that."
Danielle then grabbed my hands.
"You're frustrated and being a jerk because you like me way before you thought you would?" She asked me looking into my eyes.
I nodded in response, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Y/N, what difference does it make if you like me now or later. We're about to get married.... I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter," Dani said caressing my cheeks.
I sighed in defeat knowing she was right.
"You're right," I said cupping her and pecking her lips.
We had kissed a few times before but nothing really like a couple or anything.
"Do you want to come in?" Danielle suddenly asked
"Yes, I'd love to" I answered her unknownly.
She grabbed my hand and we headed inside her house.
"Daddy, Y/N is sleeping over!" Dani yelled as we walked in.
"I am?" I whispered to myself.
Dani and her dad's relationship had gotten much better. Specifically after we all talked about how hard it was on him when Dani's mom passed.
My dad on the other hand was still a duck but at least he treated Dani nicely.
We made it up to her room and Dani immediately pushed me against the door, pressing her lips on mine.
I gave in knowing there was a few times where this is what I wanted. I wanted to kiss her and have her sleep in my bed or me on hers.
I cupped her face with one hand and her waist with the other. "Dani," I whispered against her lips as we continued to kiss.
"Yes?" She whispered back.
"Is this okay? Is it okay for us to do this?" I asked pulling away.
Dani chuckled a bit and said, "Yes. Couples are supposed to kiss and makeout and do other things!"
"I know, I mean it's not like this is my first relationship," I answered her.
"I mean, its just that I pissed you off a lot lately" I explained myself.
"Oh I forgave you the second we kissed," She answered me.
"Plus, you've been torturing me for the last 6 months so just kiss me already!" She frustratingly said.
I cupped her face and kissed her. Dani quickly kissed back holding my suit tightly as she pushed herself against me.
We kept on makingout. Eventually, we made it onto her bed. She took my jacket off and pulled her shirt off.
"Are you sure?" I whispered against her lips.
"Yes," She moaned against my lips in response.
"I can't wait to get married," Dani suddenly said as we refused to pull our lips away.
"Yeah, me too" I honestly said.
"Good! I knew I'd have you wrapped around my finger eventually," Dani teased.
"Oh shut up and help me with my belt!" I teased back as we continued to kiss.
"After this, you're helping me revise the wedding plans" Dani said deepening the kiss.
"Yes, Princess!" I answered her.
Danielle suddenly pulled away and looked at me in shock.
"What did you call me?" She asked.
"What?! It's not like it's the first time I call you that!" I said being a bit shocked by her response.
"Yeah, but you never say it while we're alone just the two of us" Dani said caressing my cheek and pecking my lips.
"You're right," I said pecking her lips over and over again.
"Can you say it again?" Dani asked.
"Say what?" I asked giving her little kisses around her face.
"You know.... the words," She said shyly.
"Okay, Princess" I responded kissing her lips.
"Again," She requested blushing.
"Princess," I kissed her lips again.
Danielle just kept on giggling and pecking my lips.
"For someone who's so cold, you're actually pretty sweet" Dani teased as she kissed my lips.
"You broke me," I played along deepening the kiss.
"There's something else we could break," She responded with a smirk.
I caught on to what she meant kissing her lips again. "That's true, you'll sleep in a new one soon" I whispered against her lips.
She cutely giggled and we kept on making out.
