Febraury,

"Oh, see, my sister, Trina, tongue got all big and swollen and here I am."

"Great explaining Tor." I said from behind her, startling her.

It was the next week after that whole Diddly Bops fiasco, and we were back to somewhat of a normalcy, as normal as you can get when you go to Hollywood Arts and have friends like mine. Jade, Beck and I were coming from 1st period, and I was going to stop at my locker when I saw my sister, with a certain someone, I never expected to see her interacting with again...

"So, who's that?" Jade asked, gesturing to Danny.

"Uh, this is Danny."

"Hey Danny." I greeted, smiling and waving.

"Uh, hey Y/n! Hey." He smiled, sending a wave.

"Sup." Beck greeted.

"Why are you talking to Tori?" Jade asked.

"He goes to my old school." Tori said.

"Sherwood." Danny added.

"He.. he was my boyfriend."

"Girlfriend."

"So, why'd you dump her?" Jade asked, smiling, making me let out a laugh.

"Jade.." I said, turning to her.

"Can, I guess? Cuz I gotta a lot of guesses..." She said, stepping closer.

"Um, actually..."

"You, you don't have to..." Tori said, trying to stop Danny.

"Tori broke up with me."

"Oh. And how did you celebrate?" Jade grinned.

"Do you ever take a day off?" Tori asked.

"So, whatcha doin here?" Beck asked, changing the subject.

"Yeah, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I've kinda been dating this girl that goes here. And uh, I was supposed to meet her—" Danny said but was cut off by a squeal.

"Daniel!" Cat exclaimed, running down the stairs.

"Hey, babe!" He greeted.

Cat jumped in his arms, kissing him as he caught her. He spinned them around as I covered my shocked face.

"Oh chiz." I murmured to Jade, laughing.

"Right." She muttered back, laughing as well.

"This is the guy I've been telling you about. My boyfriend!" Cat said, looking at Tori, Jade and I as Jade grinned.

"Oh." Tori grimaced, looking at the ceiling.

"Daniel, these are my friends, Beck, Y/n, Jade and that's Tori."

"Yeah, me and Tori already met Daniel here kitty Cat." I smiled, readjusting my bag.

"Really? You know Daniel?" She asked looking between us.

"Oh, Tori knows Daniel." Jade remarked, amused.

"She sure does!" I added, egging her on.

....

"So..." Tori said breaking the silence that had settled.

"So..." Danny said, awkwardly.

"Soo..." Jade smirked.

"How come everyone's being all weird?" Cat asked.

"I'll tell you kitty Cat—" I said, stepping closer to Cat

"No, you won't." Beck grabbed me by my waist, pulling me to his front.

"Cat, um, I used to go to Sherwood, with Danny before I came to school here." Tori gently said, awkwardly smiling.

"Oh, so you guys were friends?"

"Yeah, they were goooood friends." Jade said, walking in-between Cat and Tori.

"I-i'm confused." Cat turned at Danny, looking back at Tori.

"Danny and I used to date."

"Uhh." Cat gasped, like the wind had just been took from her.

"Hey, why don't we walk over to some other location?" Beck asked, moving me as he walked over to Jade who was smirking at this whole interaction.

"No." I slightly pouted, shaking my head. I wanted to see how this would turn out.

"Okay, wait. So, you and Tori were like..." Cat said, turning towards Danny then Tori.

Danny gestured to Tori, avoiding her eyes "Girlfriend."

Tori pointed at Danny, looking at Cat "Boyfriend."

"So..." Cat looked at the ground, shaking her head.

"Please don't feel bad about this." Danny turned to Cat.

"You really shouldn't. I mean, we broke up a year ago." Tori said, trying to reassure her.

"Yeah, it's been a year."

"It's only been eleven months!" Tori exclaimed.

"What difference does it make?"

"Forget it!" Tori held her hands up, "The point is, I'm totally okay with you guys dating."

"And I'm totally cool that you two are friends."

"Well, okay then! It's all happy!" Cat smiled, leaning into Danny.

"Yay." Tori said, not amused at all.

"I'm bored now." Jade said, walking away.

"Me too... Bye Danny!" I murmured, walking away.

"I apologize for them..." Beck awkwardly said, following me to my locker.

"That was fun." I said as I finished the combination on my locker and opened it.

"Mmm, was it?" Beck asked, closing the locker door shut. He grabbed my waist, moving his head closer to mine as I looked to him, looking at his lips.

"Yes..." I muttered as he leaned in, backing up to the lockers. He kissed my nose first, our foreheads touching, and then the side of my mouth as I cupped his face in the palm of my hands.

"Hey, do you guys wanna go—" Tori started to ask but stopped as she turned to face us. I moved one of my hands from Beck's face, putting it in his hair as we continued to make out. "Yeah. I... okay." Tori said walking off to her next class.

"Hey, can you pass the salt?" Tori asked from across the table, looking towards Jade.

She looked up from her food container, staring at Tori. "Why should I?"

"Cuz my French fries aren't salty enough?"

Jade sighed, moving the salt towards Tori. "Sorry to put you through that trouble." Tori said, grabbing the salt as Danny walked up behind Cat.

"Guess who." He said, covering her eyes with his hands.

"Um.." She laughed "Is it Beck?"

"What?" I laughed.

"I'm sitting right next to you. I don't—" Beck laughed, amused.

Cat reached her hand out, patting Beck's face. "Oh, yeah. Hey, Beck."

"She's feeling my face." He deadpanned as Cat's finger went into Beck's mouth and he flinched back.

"No, no it's me." Daniel said, moving to Cat's side. She raised up, cupping his face in her hands.

"Daniel! What are you doing here?"

Jade smirked, nudging me in my arm as she watched Tori.

"Had a half day, thought I'd come visit you for lunch." He sat down as Beck scooted closer to me.

"Aww." Cat cooed.

"Well, this is so nice. Daniel gets to have lunch with his new girlfriend and his used girlfriend!" Jade smiled.

"You know, you can try to make this awkward but it's not gonna work, because unlike you everyone at this table is mature." Tori said, looking to Jade.

Even though I had my fun yesterday, I understood that this was going to hard for Tori. She still clearly had feelings or felt something for ole Danny, so I started to lay off on her a bit but, Jade was gonna have so much fun with this. I just really hope my sister wouldn't let her jealousy or whatever she had going on, mess with Cat's new relationship. Her and Daniel are cute together, and it appears that he really likes and treats Cat good.

"And by the way, I dumped him, so hah!" She added, taunting.

"Sooo, did you invite Daniel to the kick-back?" I asked, smiling at the couple.

"Oh, my God, I forgot." Cat said, turning her head to face Jade and me.

"Kick-back?" Daniel questioned.

"Yeah. Once every semester, the school lets us have a Saturday night party right here in the parking lot." Cat explained, turning to Danny as I glanced at Tori. She was sulking and playing with her food. I kinda felt bad for her, how awkward this must be y'know?

I kicked her foot, getting her to look at me as I mouthed. 'You, okay?' and nodded my head towards the school, silently asking her if she wanted to talk or do something else. She shook her head, giving a forced smile as she looked back down to her lunch.

"Live music, cheese fountain." Beck added.

"Cheese fountain?" Danny asked, amused.

Cat nodded "Cheddar. Will you come?"

"Yeah, totally."

"Tori, will you be at the kick-back?" Jade grinned.

"Yeah, Tor it's your first one!" I smiled, trying to take off Jade's edge.

"Yes, Jade, I will be." Tori said, putting on a fake smile and rolling her eyes at Cat started talking again.

"Ooh! Guess what I made?"

"Ah, what'd you make?" Daniel asked her, following Cat with his eyes as she bent down, grabbing something from her backpack.

"Brownies!"

"Wow, sorry. Danny doesn't like brownies." Tori said, smiling to herself.

Now, that smile, that smile was real.

"Everyone likes brownies. Open." Cat said, grabbing a brownie from the bag and feeding it to Daniel.

"Uh, yeah—" He paused, grabbing the rest of the brownie that didn't fit in his mouth "Mmmmm." He grimaced before he actually started chewing. "Wow, these are really good." He smiled, glancing at me.

"What?" Tori exclaimed.

"He said Cat's brownie is really good." Jade repeated.

"Can I try one Cat?" I asked.

"Sure!" She grabbed one, handing it to me as I broke off a piece, giving it to Beck.

Tori anxiously touched her hair, looking at Danny. "I made you brownies twice and you told me you didn't like brownies."

"Yeah, but Cat's are... different." He said, now on his 2nd brownie.

"Different how? What do you mean different!?" She sneered.

"Tori..." He nodded, silently asking her to stop and calm down.

"Try one." Cat said, getting another brownie from the bag and giving it to Tori.

Tori snatched it from her, popping it into her mouth.

"How is it?" Beck asked her.

Tori looked around, throwing the brownie down on the table. "I gotta go." She said grabbing her backpack and leaving.

"These are really good." Daniel nodded to Cat as she fed him more. I grabbed my bag, as I watched Tori leave the Asphalt Cafe.

"Ima go check on her." I said, kissing Beck's cheek as I got up.

"Alright, black box theater?" He asked.

"Yea. Bye Danny." I waved but he was too engrossed in kissing Cat.

"Hey Sikowitz!" I greeted as Tori and I pranced around the parking lot.

"Ah! The Vega twins! How are you enjoying your first Hollywood Arts kick-back Tori?" He asked, grilling something on the hood of his car.

"It's really fun!"

"Would you girls like a sausage?" He turned to us, waiting for our answer.

"Okay?" I said, they looked good so why not?

"Uh, sure. Okay."

"Here's some nice fat ones, I'll just impale it with these sticks here." He said, poking the sausages as he shrieked making me laugh.

"Here you go." He handed us our sausages.

"Thanks!" We said, taking a bite of it.

"Mmmm! What kind of sausage is this?" Tori asked.

"Oh. Just sausage. You know?"

"Yeah, but what kind of meat is it made of?" I asked, taking another bite. It was really good.

He broke out laughing, stomping his feet as he grabbed both of our hands, dancing and twirling us around. He spinned us, making us stumble away as he continued to laugh.

That was never a good sign.

"Throw the sausage away?" Tori asked as we walked away.

"Mhm, mhm." I nodded, looking for the nearest trashcan.

"Ok—" She stopped, looking straight ahead. I followed her line of sight, seeing Cat and Daniel dancing, their foreheads touching. Aww.

Tori sighed as Daniel spun Cat, Cat letting out a joyful squeal. "Daniel ever spin you like that?" Jade said, now standing beside Tori.

Tori looked up. "You wanna get slapped with a sausage?"

"Sure." Jade bent down a little, waiting, as I laughed at her antics.

"No!" Tori grimaced, moving her sausage away.

"I will!" I said, slapping her with mine. Jade took a bite of the sausage before I moved it. "I wouldn't swallow that if I were you." I laughed as we started walking away, passing a trashcan. She spit it out as I threw the sausage away and glanced around for Beck.

"There." Jade said, clasping her hands together.

"Where's Beck?" I asked.

"Uhh, there he is, by Andre." She pointed, walking towards the staircase.

"Babe! Jade! You gotta come feel Andre's foot!" Beck said, as he was bent down by Andre's foot, touching it.

"Uhh, you know what? Sure." I've already ate a sausage made of who knows!

"Why would I wanna feel...alright." Jade shrugged, crouching down beside me as we started touching his foot.

"Oh, oh my God! It's so soft!" I exclaimed.

"Dang, dude. That's some soft footage!" Jade said, looking up at Andre and Beck.

"That's what I said."

"I mean really, let's be serious here." Jade said amazed. "That's a nice foot. Wow."

"Right? I know." Beck agreed as I laughed.

"How?" I asked looking up at Andre.

"Trina." He smiled.

"Trina?" I repeated, confused.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"Don't tell me yall got some kinky stuff going on, because I will—" I said, removing my hand from his foot.

"No, no, NO!" He winced, eyes bulging outside his head.

"Then what?" Jade asked.

"Ight, so Trina got this..." He started explaining.

"What the hairballs!" Sikowitz exclaimed, running to power off the cheese fountain after Cat's loud scream was heard. Beck stood up, trying to see what all the commotion was, but it was kinda hard because a crowd had already formed.

"What happened?" I asked, standing up as well.

"Uh, Daniel and Cat are drenched in hot cheese." Beck said.

"What?!" I exclaimed, moving to squeeze my way through the crowd of people.

"You got cheese in our hair!" Danny yelled, as he and Cat looked at TORI.

"Tori..." Cat groused, panting.

"Why did you do that!?" Danny asked as Tori anxiously looked around, coming off her wave of adrenaline.

Tori stammered on her words, looking from Sikowitz, to me and then back to him and Cat. "I-i don't.. I don't k-know! I-i just..." She cried, as she ran off into the school.

Cat and Danny walked off, as Sikowitz watched them leave, sighing. "You, see? This is what happens when you mix teenagers and hot cheese!" He looked at lane who was standing beside him, "I warned you."

Lane looked up from looking at his purple solo cup. "Hmm?"

I shook my head, looking back to see where Beck was. "Oh!" I squealed, backing up as he was right behind me. "Hi." I smiled, startled.

"Hey." He laughed, moving to put a hand on my waist.

"Okay love birds, come on. Let's go find this gank." Jade said, pulling my arm.

Tori caught a ride with Trina, so we know she didn't leave the school, unless she somehow begged Trina to take her home. We had checked the halls, mostly all of them, the bathrooms and Sikowitz classroom and hadn't found her yet. Then we saw her literally run into the black box theater, and so we went there. If she wasn't here, then she definitely had somehow sneaked through one of the doors to the janitor's closet, but I don't think she would hide in there after the Alyssa Vaughn and Jade, planning to get revenge whole thing.

"Tori! Yo, Tori!" Beck called as we entered the room.

"We saw you run in here, Tori!" I said.

"What's with all that stuff?" Beck asked, gesturing to the campsite on the stage.

"Sinjin and his friends are doing some play about a camping trip gone wrong." Jade answered, walking closer to the stage area.

"Gone wrong?" I asked.

"They end up eating each other, I don't know." She shrugged.

"Tori! Tori!"

"Victoria! I know you're in here!" I said, saying her full first name.

"Yo, Tori!" Beck called as Jade picked up the broom that was leaning on the wall and threw it at the tent.

"OW!" The tent grunted.

Beck turned on one of the lights as Jade walked closer to the tent, her hands on hips "Toriiii, come out to playyyy." She said.

Tori unzipped the tent, still holding the sausage and stuck her head out. "Leave me alone." She pouted, guiltily.

"What up with the hot cheese attack on Cat?" Beck asked.

"And Daniel?" I asked tilting my head as she got up from the tent.

"I don't know, I mean, I'm so not the jealous type. I've never ever done anything like that before but seeing my ex-boyfriend making out with Cat...I guess I just... I just lost it for a second and next thing I knew, my hand was on the cheese-valve." She ranted, then paused as she sighed.

"Ugh, I have to go apologize to them." She moved around me and Beck, walking to the door before she stopped, looking at the sausage that she was still holding and put it down on a chair. She then looked at me for a second, raising her eyebrow. "Come on." She whined, pulling my hand out of Beck's and pulling me behind her as she walked to the doors.

"Wa— why do I have to come? This is supposed to be a you thing!" I protested, looking back at Beck and Jade.

"I need moral support!"

"Where are they!?" Tori whined, pulling me through the halls.

"Probably in the bathrooms, y'know...trying to get the hot cheese out of their hair! And stop pulling me! It hurts." I said, snatching my hand back.

"But—" She paused, stopping in her tracks, which made me bump into her. "Danny..."

"Oof." I mumbled, stepping back.

"Hi." He said, turning his head, glancing at me.

"Where's Cat?" Tori asked.

"Oh, she's still trying to get cheese out of her ear." He said, gesturing to the door that led to the bathrooms.

Tori winced, "Ohhhh. All right, listen—"

"I-i'll go help Cat.." I interrupted, not wanting to be here for this.

I put a hand on Tori's shoulder, giving a reassuring smile as I went to go help Cat.

"Hey kitty Cat." I greeted, sending her a smile.

"Hi Y/n..." She mumbled, forcing a smile, touching her red velvet hair.

"You need help?"

"Uh no..but thanks. I think I almost got it all out."

"Okay.."

"Why would Tori do that?" She looked up from staring at her hands that held a paper towel.

"Uh..I don't know Cat. Um..it's like— You remember when you were so obsessed with sky store?" I said, making her smile at the thought of the Sky store.

"Yea?"

"And it made you do...some crazy things? Because your parents were so involved with your brother? You got obsessed because it took your mind off it, right?"

"Mhm..." She murmured.

"Well...when certain things or people that were or are so dear to us...start showing other people the love they had for us... it can make people do crazy, and stupid things."

"Oh." She nodded her head as she moved some hair behind her ear.

"Yeah... Um, Tori's outside." I shrugged, "She wants to apologize."

"Kk, y'know my brother did just get out of the hospital!" Cat said as walked towards the door.

"That's rea—" I stopped and gasped, seeing Daniel and Tori kissing. I really shouldn't have done that because Cat hadn't seen them yet. She followed my line of sight as she walked out in front of me, still holding the bunched-up towel to her hair.

She gasped, but it sounded a like a tiny squeal. But it was loud enough for Tori and Daniel to hear because they instantly turned to us.

"Uh!"

"Uhhh!" They said as they stood up.

"Nooo uhhhh!" Cat shook her head, not believing what she saw.

"Uhhhh." They repeated, now shaking their heads.

Cat looked at them as if they took a hammer to her heart, which they kinda did. She ran away, crying.

"Cat!" Daniel called.

"Oh my God. Cat!" Tori cried, moving to watch where she ran away.

Still stuck in the spot I found them, I put my hand on my forehead, sighing as I just stared between the two.

"Tori... Daniel..." I said about to lecture them.

"Hey! Do any of you guys know what meat Sikowitz uses in this sausage?" Robbie asked as he and Rex walked down the stairs. "I asked him, and he just started laughing like... HAHAHAHHAAHA!" He said imitating Sikowitz obnoxious laugh.

"Not now Robbie..." I said, glaring at Daniel and Tori.

Tori jerked forward, running after Cat.

"Bye." Robbie said, as he and Daniel watched Tori run away.

"Go back to Sherwood, and don't come back Daniel. Don't call, text or even think about Cat because you or my sister don't deserve her." I berated, pushing my index finger into his chest.

"But—"

"No, you just cheated on her with your EX who just attacked her with hot cheese and is supposed to be her friend! Just go home..." I said as I turned around and rounded the corner, leaving no room for anything else he had to say.

"What was that all about?" Robbie asked.

It was now Sunday and after last's night whole fiasco, I was tired and all I wanted to do was sit on the couch and watch the new season of The Vampire Diaries, in quiet.

But of course, I wasn't going to be able to do that!

After the kick-back ended, or when I found Jade touching Andre's foot again and told my friends what happened, Jade and I went to go console Cat and ended up spending the night at her house. We've had a number of sleepovers at each other's houses, so Jade didn't need to stop at her dads for clothes before coming to my house. And so, Jade, my boyfriend and Andre and Robbie were all at my house. Not for me, but for Trina... and her pooka fish.

I didn't trust Trina and her home remedies for beauty care, I learned a long time ago not to trust her on that. And that is all I'm going to say!

"You sure this is safe?" Beck asked as he and Jade were getting ready to dip their feet in the pooka fish tank.

"We all did it." Robbie gestured to Andre and Trina and himself.

"Doesn't mean it's safe!" I said, glancing back from the couch.

"Does it hurt?" Jade asked.

"Nope."

"Aw."

"C'mon, if you want your feet to fell all baby soft!" Trina persuaded as Tori came down the stairs.

"Okay, I have left her 5 voicemails and sent her 12 text messages. Why won't Cat talk to me?" Tori whined.

"Cause you squirted hot cheese in her ear!" Andre said, sitting on the piano.

"And played smushy face with her boyfriend." Robbie added.

"Those things upset some girls." Jade deadpanned.

"You wanna try the pooka fish?" Trina asked her.

"You got rice and soy sauce?" Tori asked, looking up from her phone.

"No."

"Then no!" She raised her voice, going back upstairs as they watched her.

"Is that my skirt?" I asked, turning my body towards the staircase.

"No!"

"Yes, it is, Tori! TAKE IT OFF!"

Trina turned back to Jade and Beck, urging them to put their feet in the fish tank. "Okay guys, do it!"

"Do it!" Robbie encouraged.

"Dooo itttt!" Rex said as Robbie moved him closer towards them.

Jade shrugged, Beck and her moving to put their feet in the tank "Oooo-ahhhhh." They winced.

"Ohh" They moaned, now being comfortable with the pooka fish.

"See." Trina said.

"It feels good, right?" Andre asked, amused.

"It's kind of like, um..." Jade said, trying to think of what it reminded her of.

"Like a million little fish kisses?" Rex interjected.

"Yeahhh."

"Shhh! Damon is on the screen!" I said shushing them.

The next day was Monday and that meant school. Tori and I were currently at our lockers, getting stuff we needed for 4th period. I hadn't talked to her all morning, last night or evening. I didn't want her to apologize to me, but to Cat... but what was a sorry gonna do?

"Cat!" Tori exclaimed, noticing Cat who had been sneaking looks at Tori all day. As soon as Tori turned, Cat took off running to the other side of the hall, screaming. "I just wanna talk to you!"

"No! No! Get away from me! No!" Cat yelled running up the stairs and down the stairs, over to where Robbie's locker was then over to where Tori and I lockers were. "Whoa! Stop it! No!"

"Cat! Gotcha!" Tori exclaimed, as she grabbed Cat's arm, stopping her from running.

"Let go!"

"No, we have to go talk!"

"I don't want to talk to you!" Cat yelled. Tori was pulling on poor Cat so much she jerked her forward, making Cat fall on the ground.

"Cat! Get up!"

"I don't wanna get up!"

"No!"

"Help! I need a teacher! Please teacher!" Cat yelled, then just started screaming. By now the whole hall was watching and I had walked a little closer, witnessing this whole thing play out.

Sikowitz passed by, holding out a piece a paper in his hand. "Hello girls! Can you believe I scored tickets to Hall and Oates?" He asked, walking by.

"All right. Here we go. Y/n grab a leg!" Tori instructed, as she grabbed Cat's leg.

"No!" I said, not wanting to force Cat to talk to her.

"Y/N!"

"No!" I repeated, going to help Cat up.

"Okay! Here we go!" Tori grabbed both of her legs as Cat latched on to my leg, jerking me along with them.

"Cat! Let go!" I said, trying to not trip over her.

"Oh! Oh my God, Tori!" Cat exclaimed.

"Oh! Almost there, here we go!" Tori said pulling her to the janitor's closet.

"Can someone stop this from happening?" I asked, looking around at the bystanders.

"Oh, It's okay. She enjoys it!" Tori yelled.

"Shame! SHAME ON ALL OF Y—" I yelled, Tori cutting me off she slammed the janitor's closet door, stepping in front of it as Cat stood up, unlatching her arms from my leg.

"Let me out!" Cat cried.

"Cat!"

"This is kidnapping, or Cat-napping." She giggled to herself, "Open the door!" She yelled, getting back on topic.

"I'm sorry! And I'm not just saying I'm sorry, I'm really, really seriously sorry." Tori pleaded with her, putting both her hands on Cat's shoulders.

"You sprayed cheese on me then kissed my boyfriend."

"Yeah...Yeah I did."

"Why would you be mean to me?"

Tori looked at her, looking back to the ground. "I don't know. Maybe I did still have a few tiny little feelings left for Danny and maybe that's why I went a little crazy seeing you two being all mushy together."

"You coulda just talked to me about it."

"I know. What I did was terrible and awful and immature, and you have every right to be furious with me. I swear Cat, if I were you, I would just punch me right in the face."

And then Cat, did, in fact, punch Tori in the face.

"Oh shit!" I said, amused looking between Tori and Cat.

"Owww! Cat!" Tori exclaimed, holding her bloody nose.

"What?" She innocently asked.

"You just punched me in the face!"

"You said to."

"I know, but that's just something people say— Owwww!"

"Does it hurt?" Cat asked.

"A lot! Okay, I think my nose might be broken."

"Well, now I feel all bad."

"Don't. I deserved it."

"You sure did." I mumbled from beside Cat.

"Feel better?" Tori asked her.

"I think so."

"I'm sorry." Tori said moving to hug her, Cat gave in, hugging Tori back.

"Awww...now let's get you to a hospital now Tor." I said, gently putting a hand on her back.

"Thank you." She said, as Cat opened the door.

"Shame.." I muttered, shaking my head at the same students in the same hall.

"Is it broken?" Tori asked the nurse who was feeling her nose.

"I don't think so. Just bruised." She removed her hand as Tori put the bloody tissue back up to her nose. "How'd this happen?"

Tori looked to Cat, who was shaking her head. "I, uh, fell."

"On what?"

"Something.. hard."

"Like a rock." Cat added, laughing slightly.

"Ah.. Well, we should get you X-rayed. Take a seat over there." The nurse gestured to the set of chairs in the corner.

"Thank you." Cat thanked, turning around.

"Perfect explanation." I muttered to Tori as we walked to sit down.

"Shut up." She said, as I sat down.

"Oh my God!" Cat exclaimed, making us turn our heads.

"What?" Tori asked, walking to her. "Whoa!"

I got up, seeing as they didn't say anything. Cat pulled the curtain all the way, letting me see our friends and Trina coughing and looking almost green as the doctor and nurses tended to them.

"Oh my God!" I said, moving to stand by Beck.

"You all look awful!" Cat said.

"What happened?" Tori asked.

"Ask your sister." Andre said aloof.

We looked at Trina, who was coughing up something awful, a throwing up bowl in front of her.

"Eww!" Tori and I grimaced.

"It seems they all have myroleticulitis, an infectious attack on the central nervous system that can be very dangerous unless treated immediately." The doctor explained.

"How'd they get it?" I asked, my hand hovering over Beck's forehead.

"I have no idea. It's very rare in America." He paused,

"Poor baby." I cooed looking at Beck.

"Have any of you recently gone swimming in the Zingu river near Puerto Iguazu?"

Trina slowly looked up to the doctor, guilt all over her face.

"Trina." Beck called.

"What?"

"Tell him."

She coughed, looking at the doctor. "Okay... I bought some illegal pooka fish from a guy in a van." She said in a whiny tone.

"Pooka fish!? For feet smoothening!" The doctor asked.

"Yeah." She winced.

"Do you know how dangerous that is? The saliva of the pooka fish is riddled with toxins and bacteria." He looked around at my sick group of friends.

"But feel our feet." Trina held out her gripper.

"Yes, I realize that they can nibble away all of the— Wow, they're really soft. Nurses feel these kids' feet, everyone!" He said touching her feet.

"Can you get whatever they have by touching their feet?" I asked.

"No." He shook his head.

"Okay." I said touching their feet, "It's like a baby's bottom!"
