I showed up to the dance looking for Jada. When I got into the gymnasium all I saw was a huge ass circle.
I stood next to some tall ass guy.
" AINT DAT YO CHICK" he hit my arm as he yelled.
I raised a brow and started shoving to get to the middle. Once I did all I saw was Jada twerking all ova Notti.
"YOO WHAT THE FUCK" i shouted loudly.
Breeze gave me a look that made me wanna slap the shit out of her.
Jada stood up laughing but stopped when she saw me. Now some other girl was in the circle leaving all the attention on her and away from us.
"Ddot whe-" she started.
"Nah dont start wit me hoe I SHOULD FUCK Y'ALL UP" I said with a voice crack. I specifically was looking at Notti.
"Listen ddot we was gone tell you-" I interrupted him.
"YOU KNOW I WANT HER ETHAN!! YOU KNOW I WAS GONE ASK HER, WE EVEN MADE A PLAN TOGETHER NIGGA!! YOU A FUCKING OPP" I shoved him backwards.
"Keep yo hands off me" he hit my arm.
"AND YOU LIED TO ME" I snapped my neck towards her.
"You told me you was going w breeze and tay" I lowered my voice.
"I am with Tay and breeze.... and Notti... and dd" she scratched her neck.
"You not even taking ts serious" I shook my head.
"I am ddot!! But you can't just be mad at me. YOU DIDN'T ASK!! We not even together" she said.
"Oh das how it is ma? That's da excuse?" I scoffed.
"That came out wrong Darrien..." she looked sorry.
"Nah continue hanging wit ya new man" I walked off and went to sit on the sidewalk.
After a few minutes I heard a door open behind me.
"Mh" I heard dd's soft voice say.
I turned to him and rolled my eyes.
"You knew didn't you?" I asked as I looked out to the parking lot.
"I did but.... Notti was gonna tell you" He sat next to me.
"Was he?" I really questioned.
"Istg he was. Jada said that was the only way she was gonna go w him" he defended.
"Well look where we at now. They here and ian even know bout it"
"Nigga whenever he tried to bring it up you stopped him" he huffed.
"Das not true" I snapped.
"YEAH, IT IS!! He said the word dance and you immediately started talking bout Jada" he laughed.
"Then that should've been a sign to NOT go w her" I said in a duh tone.
"They was only tryna make dat white bitch jealous. Jada wasn't even gonna fall through wit the plan. All she kept saying was how she ain wanna do it cause she want you" he nudged my arm and smirked.
"Word?" I started cheesing.
"Hell yeah!! Maybe she got a lil out of character but hey you can't lie WHO WOULDN'T?!!! Every girl go crazy ova Notti and she had to give da people what they wanted. Plus, she got that crowd bumpin and did you see the way it moved?? Like wata" we both laughed.
"Ts was moving real slick" I agreed.
"But I wanted ha to b twerkin on me tonight. Not ma brutha" I reminded him.
"To be fair you kinda didn't ask so like... she had to say yes to Notti or she wouldn't have a date" He shrugged.
"Since when you mess w ha?? You go to tha dance w ha and now you defending ha ass?? Don't tell me you want ha ass too" I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"No nigga!! I want ha bestie but we gone talk bout ts later. I jus realized how much she make you happy so ig... I am willing to give her a chance" he looked like he wanted to throw up when he said that.
"Thanks Dd. Dis why you ma twin fr" I smiled.
He put his arm around my shoulder and squeezed me.
"Anything foe ma heart" he geeked.
Then I heard heels coming towards us.
"Welp das ma cue. Ima b rizzing breeze into ma life aight now?? Take care" he stood up and laughed as he hit Jada's arm when he walked past her.
"Bitch" she looked him up and down with a stank look as she sat next to me.
JADA GREEN
7:14pm
I groaned as I sat next to Ddot.
"I'm getting too old for dis shit" I rubbed my back. He just stared out to the street silently.
I took that into consideration and decided not to talk. After just sitting there for a few seconds I laid my head onto his shoulder and wrapped my arm around his as I grabbed his hand.
He was hesitant to touch me but put his head on top of mine.
"I'm sorry" I whispered.
It got silent again. But a comfortable silence.
"Yk life is what we make it and a chance is like a picture it'd be nice for you to take it" he said.
"What? Why you singing drake?" I chuckled.
"I was wondering... could I make you my baby" I felt his grip get tighter.
"You fr? Or you jus singing the song-" I looked up at him slowly.
"I mean... yeah. Why not. We act like a couple... and I was going to ask you during a more romantic activity but here is.... it's enough" he smiled.
"Ddot but-" he stopped me.
"I forgive you. What's a relationship if we trip on da lil things?? You was right. We not together. But now if you say yes, then your mine" I saw a twinkle fall upon his eyes.
I smashed our lips together as a breeze went through the air. The sun was setting, leaves were blowing in the wind. It felt perfect.
"Of course I'll be yo girl nigga" I said softly.
"That tone was a little violent Ima need you to rephrase that" he said in a karen voice.
I giggled and pushed him.
"Yes ddot I will go out w you" I said in a better 'tone'
"Now let's go home and have our OWN party" he took my hand as we stood up.
"What abt everyone else" I pointed to the school.
"They'll figure out where we went sooner or later" he shrugged.
"Aight whateva you say!! Lead the way" I cheesed.
We went to his house and into his living room.
"Wait here" he demanded.
He went into the kitchen and came back out with two wine glasses.
"Nigga ion drink" I made a 🤢 face.
"Nigga we sippin on apple juice tf" he had a bottle of literal apple juice in his hands and poured it into the glasses.
"Cheers to me making you ma bae" he smiled as we clinked the glasses together.
He turned on his tv and went to yt. He started playing blue dream by Jhene Aiko.
"Ohhh what you know bout disss??" I joked.
"Care to dance?" he stuck his hand out.
"You watch too many movies" I made a weird look.
"Nigga stfu and dance wit me" his NY accent came back.
"Ahh there's the boy I like" I took his hand, and we started slow dancing together. The lights were off, and the only thing shining was candles and the tv.
He was on live as we slow danced to the whole song.
I rested my head on him as we moved side to side.
"I love you gang" he joked.
"Gang?" I looked up at him like 🤨.
"I'm kidding ma" he quickly defended himself.
"Ye you know betta" I looked him up and down as he spun me around.
He placed one hand on my hip and moved down to my ass.
The other hand was placed on my neck as we kissed.
"Don't do too much if you got mad people watching us" I whispered into his ear.
He then wrapped both arms around my waist as the song was to its end.
I laid back on his chest and closed my eyes.
He ended the live as I went to his room.
"Thank you ddot for making this night... exciting" I laughed as I thought about what happened.
He laid on top of me and put his hand up my dress.
"Good night hoe" he yawned.
"Good night fuck nigga" I played with his hair and fell asleep.
