"dami, i'm home!" i chirped up the hallway as i entered the måneskin house with victoria, grocery shopping bags in hand
"dam isn't here!" ethan echoed
"oh ok, can you come help us with the groceries then?"
ethan came downstairs and all was well until i got like a million notifications on my phone, i picked it up and went silent, i had been tagged about 3000 times on a post of a bunch of pictures with damiano, kissing another girl.
"so uh, where is dami anyways?
"i don't know, he went somewhere with thomas.." ethan trailed off
"where do i put the beers?" vic questioned
"in the fridge outside," i spoke as i walked to the living room, phone in hand. i grabbed a blanket and plopped on the couch, trying then failing not to cry.
"what's wrong y/n?" vic said as she returned inside, sitting by my side.
"someone.. someone posted pictures of damiano-" i wailed before being cut off by vic
"honey, that's gonna happen, he's a celebrity," she interrupted me
"no, someone posted pictures of him kissing another girl.." i spat out
"oh honey.. i'm sure they're old or edited" she said rubbing my shoulders
"what happened?" ethan asked as he finished up the rest of the groceries and entered the living room.
"someone posted pictures of damiano kissing another girl," vic said holding up my phone revealing the photos
"oh my gosh.. y/n i'm so sorry .." he said sitting on the opposite side of me..
i wanted more than anything for damiano to come home and tell me that it wasn't true, or that it was old pictures from when we weren't together but i knew, i knew it was from today.
"why don't we do something to take your mind off it? let's go swimming!" vic suggested in a cheery manner.
"yeah y/n why don't we, that sounds like fun!" ethan said
we went swimming for a few hours and ordered some pizza, it did distract me from the post for a little bit, until we were sitting on the couch watching friends and damiano came home
"hi baby" he smiled and leaned in to kiss me to which i promptly leaned away, "come on baby don't play like that," he said smiling and grabbing my face.
"dam.. she saw the pictures.." victoria stated.
"what pictures?" he questioned,
"THE PICTURES OF YOU KISSING ANOTHER GIRL!" i shouted in his face
"guys give us some privacy please," damiano said through gritted teeth as victoria, ethan, and thomas left. "what pictures?" he said with his teeth still clenched tightly.
"look." i said as i pulled up the pictures once again..
"babe you know i would never cheat on you, i don't even know what those pictures are from they must be edited."
"damiano david, where the hell where you today?" i pressed
"i was out with thomas!" he defended
"oh so you were just 'out'? what the hell does that mean?"
"we just went out! we went to some shops and stuff i don't know!"
"you don't know what you did today? you were only gone for i don't know 7 hours!"
"ok ok fine! those pictures are of me and a fan!"
"YOU KISSED A FAN!" i shouted,
"SHE KISSED ME! I DIDN'T JUST DECIDE I WANTED TO CHEAT ON YOU AND KISS SOMEONE ELSE!"
"THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE PUSHED HER AWAY! WHY DID YOU LET IT HAPPEN FOR LONG ENOUGH FOR THERE TO BE PICTURES! AND WHY WOULDN'T YOU CALL ME OR LEAVE ME A MESSAGE 'HEY JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT PICTURE OF ME KISSING ANOTHER GIRL, DON'T WORRY IT'S JUST A FAN WHO GRABBED ME AND KISSED ME!" i screamed,
"I DIDN'T PUSH HER AWAY BECAUSE I WAS IN SHOCK, AND I WAS KIND OF HOPING.." he went quiet,
"HOPING?" i pressed
"i was hoping that you wouldn't see the pictures.." he mumbled
"OH OK SO YOU WERE GONNA CHEAT ON ME, KNOW THERE WERE PICTURES ONLINE AND WHAT? JUST HOPE YOUR GIRLFRIEND OF 6 YEARS WOULDN'T SEE IT?"
"KIND OF!" he screamed back at me,
"OH OK, I SEE HOW IT IS! YOU'RE DISGUSTING DAMIANO! YOU'RE FUCKING DISGUSTING! THIS IS OVER!"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN OVER?" he yelled at me,
"I MEAN WE'RE OVER! I'M BREAKING UP WITH YOU!"
"oh.." he mustered a small word before looking up at me with glossy eyes..
"yeah.." i said as i slowly walked away..
*time skip to the next day*
"hey, you feeling better?" vic said as she stretched to grab her glass of water off her nightstand, i slept in her bed with her last night.
"a little, not great."
"at least you're making progress," she shrugged before getting back under the covers
*damiano's pov*
"thomas i don't know what i'm gonna do.. she broke up with me.. i was gonna propose,"
"why don't you just be honest with her?" he questioned,
"i don't know i just.. god i wanted it to be special," i thought out loud
"dude i got an idea.." he trailed off before making a plan..
*time skip (still dam's pov)*
"alright bro, you ready?" thomas said, playfully punching me on the shoulder..
"as i'll ever be.." i said nervously, i stepped into the backyard it was filled with y/f/f, y/n's favorites, i stood up near the pool and waited for her to come outside, vic had gotten her ready and told her they were going to a club because i knew she wouldn't wanna see me..
*y/n's pov*
"alright i'll meet you in the car!" vic said as i grabbed my purse and headed towards the back door,
"ok! sounds good!" i chirped back before opening the back door and stepping into the backyard, it was filled with y/f/f, and i walked on a trail of the petals from the y/f/f to where damiano was standing, next to a blanket with watermelon and chocolate covered strawberries, there were flower petals scattered around.
"y/n de angelis, you are the most perfect girl in the whole world, i want to spend the rest of my life with you, and if you agree to spend the rest of your life with me i promise to always be honest to you about where i am and what i'm doing for the rest of my life,"
"is this.. is this where you were yesterday, buying these flowers and this gorgeous ring.."
"it is.." he grinned "and i want you to know that the girl came onto me and i regretted every second i was kissing her. you know i would never cheat on you baby,"
"i know, you're not a cheater," i smiled
"so then is that a yes?" he grabbed my hands,
"yes, it is." i giggled and reached for one of the chocolate covered strawberries,
"those strawberries good?" he chuckled sitting down on the blanket, me doing the same,
"they're perfect, all of this is perfect" i smiled then leaned in to kiss him.
