I walk inside home after my coffee with Jon. I'm glad he decided to help us out considering he still seemed slightly bitter over everything that happened but then again I also probably would.
Now to break the news to Nikki.
" Babe i'm home " I shout out.
" In the kitchen " He yells back. I walk in to see him making lunch for himself and Decker. He looks at me as if to say well?
" No luck " I say with a sigh to which he groans.
" He said they split up a few weeks ago but did mention that he thinks she could be gone out of the country that she took her passport " I tell him as he listens intently.
I wait for a response.
" That's fine " He says calmly. Huh ?
" Really ? " I question him.
" Yeah i've finally come to the realisation that if she doesn't want to be in his life that's fine, he doesn't need her, he has us " The last part made my heart flutter a bit, I love Gunner and he will always be my baby too.
" Exactly " I say pecking Nikki on the lips.
" That was always my issue, I always thought I needed my parents in my life , that's why i spent so many years chasing ghosts but in reality I already had everything I needed, Tom and Nona, the guys and you " I look up at him getting lost in his words, I almost well up from the words he spoke.
" I'm so proud of you " I tell my husband.
" And that's why...I think I want full custody of Gunner , and i'll be there for him for every moment, to help him, to teach him, cause we're Sixx men this is the start to a brand new generation "

I sit nervously in the car while Nikki picks Gunner up from school. I hope he didn't let this morning's conversation upset him too much.
I look over to the doors and see them walking out hand in hand. Nikki is smiling which makes me relax a bit.
" Hey Gunner ! " I say excitedly as the child climbs into the car.
" Look " he says showing me a drawing of some sort which he clearly made.
" Wow this is amazing " I say taking it from him and inspecting it.
It's a drawing of four people, it reads Daddy, Gunner, Decker and Sophia.
My heart could burst.
" I love it Gunner " I say looking at the green eyed boy. He looks happy with himself.
" Yeah he said that they had to draw their family and that's what he drew " Nikki says pleased as he ties him in.
It's such a relief that it doesn't seem to be bothering him, as Nikki said we are enough.
Nikki sits into the car and looks at me, I grab his hand interlocking our fingers.
" I love you " he says looking at me.
" And I love you " I say back giving him a kiss.

I run around getting ready for our night out tonight, I have butterflies it's been awhile and I can't lie i'm kind of nervous, I hope Nikki will be okay.
Speaking of Nikki he walks into our room.
" Did you call Dakota " I ask him as i finish painting my toe nails.
" Yes she said she'll be there by seven "
" And did you tell Gunner "
" Yes he's okay with it, kinda bribed him with candy but it's fine "
I watch as Nikki rummages through our closet.
" Will you be okay tonight ? We don't have to go if you don't wanna " I say meaningfully. He glances at me.
" I'll be okay i'm actually meeting Kelly ( his sponsor ) on Monday " I smile that he's taking his own initiative.

We are now on our way to the whisky to meet the guys. It's been awhile since i've been back in the sunset strip.
" this is almost nostalgic " I say looking out the window.
" it's is nostalgic " Nikki laughs.
" I miss the early days....you know the thrill of chasing each other " Nikki adds.
" More like you chasing me " I snort. He narrows his eyes.

We pull up outside and quickly slip past the queue of people, I always feel bad about that. The place is just like I remember, dirty and damp but god have i missed this place.
Nikki guides me through the crowds to where everyone is sat. I see Emis big blonde hair before I see anyone else.
" There you are ! " She yells over the music running to give us hugs. Followed by Tommy.
" Good evening Mr and Mrs Sixx "
" Hey T-Bone " I spot Pamela behind him and give her a wave to which she gives back.
" Hey Em where's Sharise " I say looking around.
" Oh she's at the bar let's go find her " She says grabbing my hand a pulling me back into the crowd.
We weave our way over people saying hi as we pass. I'm guessing Em has already started in the shots.
" Yeah i'll have 5 tequila shots " I hear Sharise ask the bartender.
" Make that 7 " I say causing her to turn around.
She engulfs me in a massive hug.
" Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes " She says smiling at me but I can tell it's masked. I decide not to go there.
" This is strange isn't it , being back here " I say making conversation.
" Yeah it is...can't tell if it was easier now or back in the day " Emi laughs holding a glass of what i assume is only vodka.
" Here " Sharise says handing me the shots.
" To the girls " She says raising her glass.

Nikkis pov
I take a seat next to Mick.
" How's the bones " I ask.
" Like concrete " He groans. I look at Pam and Tommy who are talking amongst themselves.
" Where's Vince "
" Fuck knows " Mick grunts.
I sit there kind of awkwardly, I don't know why I feel so awkward. Guess i'm not used to not drinking or snorting anything.
" Hey dudes " Vince says jogging towards us.
" Hey man where've you been " Tommy asks as Pam gets up and walks away.
" Ah just to the toilets " He smiles picking up his drink. He glances at women who walk past our table. He hasn't changed.
" for 30 minutes ? " Mick quizzes. We're all staring at him now waiting for his answer.
" Hey what's with the interrogation " He raises his voice. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. He looks away from us and I follow his gaze.
There she's stood.

I stare at him his in disbelief. He struts away into the crowd. I look and Mick and Tommy who look just as confused as me.
" Am I wrong " I say sitting back down.
" I wouldn't say you're wrong Sixx but you know how he is you can't question anything the guy does without him think we're ganging up on him" Mick answers back.
" Yeah exactly, look don't worry it's none of our business anyways " Tommy adds.

We've been dancing for like 20 minutes now, i'm beginning to smell myself causing my nose to scrunch.
" Let's get another drink " Sharise says stumbling a bit.
