I see it in your eyes
the glare you give me every time I do something "wrong"
how could I have wronged you so much to this point?
I am only a child.
your child.
I am only doing this to help you.
to please you.
I do not wish to be here any longer yet I stay
I stay because some stupid part of me believes that you will change and we can finally get along
but I know it won't happen
yet I stay
I yearn
I hope
for your motherly love.
