The following day the class was informed that a newspaper would be doing a feature on their class and how they had adapted to dorm life
Aizawa had strangled Mineta because of his pervy thoughts and told them all they'd best be on their best behavior
The reporter Taneo Tokuda had told the class that they don't have to do anything special and should just go about their day as they normally do so that they did
He coverd their normal classes and their hero training classes once school was finished the class headed back to the dorm but Y/N had gotten changed into some training clothes and was planning on going to a open field
" Your really planning on training out in the rain ? " Momo questioned
" Well I got a challenge and you know I can't turn away from one " Y/N said
Momo just rolled her eyes and told him not to stay out to late
When Y/N had gotten to the open field his long life rival was already waiting for him
Kyojuro smiled once he saw his friend " Ah Y/N about time are you ready ? " he asked
Y/N smirked " Always but you sure your flames won't be dosed by the rain ? "
Kyojuro gets in his battle stance
"Don't worry about me it takes more then a few drops of water to dose my flame " his flaming sword then formed in his hands
Y/N looked at the sword and saw steam coming off of it due to the rain " Guess 1-A hasn't been the only one training hard " Y/N thinks to himself as he gets in his battle stance
Without warning Y/N uses shockwaves in his feet to launch himself forward he reels his fist back getting ready to deliver a punch to Kyojuro but his rival had anticipated this
" Flame breathing : seventh form Transperant flame ! " Kyojuro yells in his head as Y/N makes contact with Kyojuro's head only for him to turn into flames
" Damn " Y/N thought as he jumped back
Kyojuro's flames then formed into a human shape dispersing and revealing the swordsman who had reeled his arm back with sword in hand
" Is he about to throw that sword as if it's a spear " Y/N thought surprised
Kyojuro then threw his sword at Y/N but it went much faster then he had orginally thought it would leaving him with no choice but to roll out the way
When he got back to his feet Kyojuro was already infront of him with his fists coated in flames
Kyojuro tried to strike but Y/N parried the strike with his forearm he then spun on his heel towards Kyojuro and elbowed him on the jaw
The young swordsman wasn't done thou he quickly dropped down and tried to leg sweep Y/N who jumped in the air to avoid it but Kyojuro was ready for this as he formed his flaming sword again
" Flame breathing : second form rising scorching sun " he then swings his sword in a upward motion
Y/N formed his arms into and x shape trying to block the attack
The sword comes crashing against Y/N's arms making the boy stumble back and grunt in pain
The two glared at one another Kyojuro reading his sword and Y/N coating his fist in shock wave energy
They both then used their quirks to dash forward at high speeds towards one another
Y/N using shock waves in his feet and Kyojuro using his first form unknowing fire
Their attacks then come crashing against one another both rivals trying to over power one another but both leap back as none of then were getting anywhere with the tussle
The two were getting ready to go again but stopped when they heard a man speak
" Wow UA students are really something always training hard huh? "
The two looked at the man Y/N saw that it was the reporter Tokuda and Midoriya was beside him the two hadn't even realized the rain had let up
Tokuda then smiles at the two with a closed eye smile " I see now the future is really bright with heroes like you all training so hard " he says waving a photo around
The two come closer to see it and see that Tokuda had taken a picture of them of when Kyojuro and Y/N's attacks meet
" Wow what a picture " Y/N said as Kyojuro nodded along
" You guys really are training hard to become pros aren't you? " Tokuda asked
" Of course I'm going to be the future number 1 after all " Y/N said hitting his fist against his chest
He then points at Kyojuro " And flame for brains here is gonna be my side kick so I guess he can be the number 1 side kick " he said with a smirk
Kyojuro chuckled with a tick on his forehead and his flaming sword formed in his hand once again " Ah what was that "
Y/N's smirk grew even wider " Oh you know you heard me "
Tokuda had said goodbye to them all and Y/N and Kyojuro went back to training

The following day Tokuda had went back to Juko news
They were all banging their heads on the table disappointed he couldn't find All Might's successor
He apologized but said he didn't come back empty handed he then showed then the picture of Y/N and Kyojuro duking it out
They were happy to say the least but back at the dorms a certain young hero had sneezed
" Achew " Y/N
" A summer cold ? Better not get me sick " Aizawa said standing next to his student
A tick mark formed on Y/N's head " Jeez thanks teach "

" The hero work studies are a more serious version of your internships they entail helping pros on the streets and with investigations your teachers and the principle discussed them at the faculty meeting and we all agree it's too soon theh should really be canceled " Aizawa said as the all class went quiet
But then " WWWHHHHAAAATTT" they all shout making the building shake
" Aww but we already met about then " Kirishima argued
" I guess when you think about why we had to move into the dorms it makes sense " Kaminari says playing with Ojiro's tail
Bakugo then slams his hands on the desk and stands up with a smile a scary smile " Hahah "
" Just because you wouldn't get to do one " Hagukare said sweat dropping
" That's goes into my top ten scary things " Y/N says
" But...some people think we won't be able to raise strong heroes with that sort of protective outlook and with that in mind the compromise is to be selected about the agencies so choose one with a proven track record otherwise you won't be taking part " Aizawa says
Bakugo immediately gains a tick Mark and his face turns into one of anger making Y/N snicker
" Damnit " Bakugo yelled
Everyone was now allowed to go on work studies but the agency would have to have a good record has for Y/N he was just planning on asking Fatgum again he had found out Amajiki works with Fatgum too so he assumed that the school would have no issue

It was finally weekend and Y/N was eating breakfast with Tokoyami and Kirishima while Kaminari and Mineta brushed their teeth beside the three
" A whole day off huh " Kaminari said while brushing his teeth
" Yeah from all the exams and special training we can finally take it easy for...." Before Mineta could finish speaking Midoriya had dashed past them all leaving a trail of smoke
" Okay what's with him ? " Mineta questioned
" Don't know but he seems to be in a hurry " Y/N said finishing his breakfast
Tokoyami then looked at Y/N " If I may ask why are you wearing your uniform ? " he asked
" Oh I spoke to Mr Nezu and Aizawa and they gave me the all clear to go on work studies this weekend with Fatgum " he said
" Wow awsome I heard that third year Amajiki also works with Fatgum I was actually thinking of asking Amajiki to let me meet him and ask if he'd take me in on work studies " Kirishima said
Y/N smiled " I'll make sure to put in a good word for you "
Y/N then said goodbye to his friends and made his way to the front door
Although when he opened he saw someone he didn't expect to see
Standing in his way was none other then Crystal
" Hey...." Before she was able to properly greet the young hero he slammed the door shut and chuckled
" Probably didn't get enough sleep" He thought
He then opened the door again to see Crystal still infront of the door but she now had a tick on her forehead
" Ser...." Y/N slams the door again
" Third times a charm " He says as he opens it again
At this point Crystal was fuming
" You brat ! " she roared as she grabbed Y/N by the ear and dragged him out
" Ahh hey what's the big idea " he said escaping her grip
" Your coming with me you got your hero costume right ? " she asked
" Well yeah but I already arranged with Fatgum to go on work study with him I can't just drop him " Y/N said
A smirk then grew on Crystal's face " Didn't you wonder why he was laughing when you phoned him last night and said he'd take you anytime but your gonna be in for a surprise ?"
" Huh how you know about that ?" Y/N shouted
" He was at the old mans agency last night the two were catching up and when Skrimisher heard you make the call he told Fatgum he'll be taking you on work studies " she said
" Aw crap " was all Y/N could think
" What's the old man scheming " he thought
Y/N had no choice but to go with Crystal now especially since she said it was Skrimisher who sent her
When they got to the gates of UA Y/N saw a certain blonde with red highlights
" You've got to be kidding me " he said whining
Kyojuro turned to face the two with his never fading smile
" While then shall we be on our way " Kyojuro said
