Edd's POV
"My name is Jessika Härt," The lady said.
"Purple Leader sent you to come and get Apollo's notebook, right?" Jessika asked.
Jessika had a strong Norwegian accent.
"Mhm,"
"..."
"Well, I can't give it to you..." Jessika said.
I was confused.
"What, why not?" I asked.
"If I give this to you, my brother will find a way to take it from you before you leave this building tonight," Jessika said.
"Your brother?" I asked. "Who's your brother?"
"Red Leader," Jessika claimed.
"I'm on the Purple Leader's side, Edd," Jessika said. "I cannot let Tord lay a finger on this notebook."
"If you're on Purple Leader's side then give me Apollo's notebook, he's the one who told me to come over here and get it from you," I explained.
"I know, but if I give it to you, Tord will get his hands on it right before you leave the building," Jessika claimed.
"And why do you think that?" I asked impatiently.
"Someone notified security that you were here, security is looking for you, and they will find you," Jessika explained. "They'll search you, find the notebook, and then kill you."
"Now we don't want that do we?" Jessika asked.
"Fine. But Purple Leader needs that notebook, he said he would meet me in the back of the building," I explained. "How about I leave and then you leave and meet us in the back, so then you can give Purple Leader the notebook yourself?"
"That..."
"Sounds good..." Jessika said.
"So you leave and then I'll meet you and Purple Leader in the back of the building where he'll get the notebook."
"Sounds good-" I said before being interrupted by someone yelling.
"EDD, GIVE ME THE NOTEBOOK!"
I looked to the left and see Tord, Tom, and three other armed Red Soldiers marching toward us.
But Tom...
He looked... Different.
He was suited up and wore visor goggles over his 'eyes'.
"Come with me!" Jessika said as she quickly started to sprint off into a random room next to the restroom.
But I couldn't react fast enough.
Jessika had already run into the room and slammed the door shut.
I tried to open the door as Tord and his soldiers marched over here but Jessika locked the door.
"Jessika, open the door!" I exclaimed.
But Jessika didn't open the door or respond.
Tord, Tom, and the three Red Soldiers reached me.
Tord grabbed me by the neck using his robotic arm and held me high in the air, "You have Apollo's notebook!
"N-no, I don't!" I said trying to grasp for air.
"GIVE IT TO ME!" Tord shouted, his grip becoming tighter.
"Jessika! P-please!" I yelled, trying to get Jessika to come out.
It took a moment before Jessika shouted from inside the room.
"My name is Jessika Härt, you know who I am and what I'm capable of!" Jessika shouted whilst banging on the door to catch Tord's attention.
Tord then dropped me and I hit the floor extremely hard.
"Take care of him, Tom," Tord said as he took out his handgun.
"Jessika, give me the notebook!" Tord yelled.
"You will NEVER get your hands on this, I'm burning it tonight!" Jessika exclaimed.
Tord began to really get pissed off.
"APOLLO'S NOTEBOOK, GIVE IT TO ME!" Tord yelled violently as he pointed his handgun toward my head.
"GIVE ME THE NOTEBOOK OR I'LL KILL THIS MOTHERFUCKER!"
"..."
"Okay..." Jessika said.
"I-I'm coming out, just don't shoot!" Jessika exclaimed.
Tom picked me up.
"Edd, I need you to run as fast as you can once Jessika comes out, grab Jessika and take the notebook, Tord will kill you if he gets ahold of you..." Tom whispered in my ear.
"Do you understand?" Tom asked.
I nodded my head.
As soon as Jessika opened the door and walked out of the room, Tom yelled "Run!".
I sprinted off and grabbed Jessika by her arm.
Jessika and I ran through the crowd of people attending the party in the ballroom.
We ran out from the entrance and to the back of the building.
We stopped once we had seen Purple Leader standing next to a car, waiting.
We were out of breathe and both needed to rest for a second.
"Smart thinking..." Jessika panted.
"Thanks," I said simply as Purple Leader looked at us confused.
"I said to bring me the notebook, not Jessika," Purple Leader said.
"Yeah, well there was a change of plans, we've been caught," I said. "So I grabbed Jessika and ran out of the building."
"Okay, well hurry and get into the car before they come out here!" Purple Leader exclaimed angrily and he got into the car.
Tom's POV
AFTER THE CELEBRATION PARTY.
AT THE BUNKER.
I sat on the bed and just took a shower around 30 minutes ago.
I sat there feeling like a child preparing to get scolded.
The moment Tord got down talking a shower and entered the room, I felt scared.
I had never really been scared by Tord but this time I was...
For a reason I didn't even know of.
Tord sat by me on the bed.
"You let him go, Tom..." Tord said.
"I know..." I replied.
"..."
Tord looked me straight in the eyes, "Why'd you do that?"
Tord sounded like he was on the verge of tears.
"I had it all in my grasp, and you messed it up," Tord said.
"You're not with them, are you?"
"No..." I said. "I just couldn't let you kill Edd... I'm sorry.."
Tord looked down, he couldn't look at me anymore.
I saw a tear roll down his cheek.
"Tord... I'm really sorry..." I said.
"You don't..." Tord said.
He didn't say anything.
"I don't what?" I asked.
"You don't really love me, do you?..." Tord asked, shedding another tear.
"You just want to hurt me..."
"No, no, Tord..." I said, unable to form any words.
"I don't want to hurt you..." I hugged him from the side and got him closer to me.
"I love you, I would never hurt you..." I reassured Tord.
"Let's go to sleep now, Tord," I said.
Tord got into bed and so did I.
As soon as I shut off the lights I cuddled Tord.
I played with his hair for a while and Tord began to fall asleep.
"I love you, Tord," I said and kissed Tord on the head.
Tord hugged me tightly, "I love you too."
Pat's POV
Purple Leader brought two new people to the base.
Jessika Härt and Edd Gardner.
"Sir, we can't just keep bringing people into this army, you just send them out to war, and they all DIE!" I yelled.
"What are you complaining about now?" Purple Leader asked.
"I'm saying that hundreds of our soldiers, our people are dying at war that doesn't need to start to begin with, and you're not doing anything about it!" I complained.
"You mean, my people. Not 'our'," Purple Leader said.
"Well, your PEOPLE are dying, and you need to take action, you need to stop!" I exclaimed. "This war didn't need to start!"
"YOU don't tell me what I need and don't need to do!" Purple Leader exclaimed.
"Those two that I brought in today aren't staying here long, and you're just mad at me for killing your little boyfriend," Purple Leader said.
"Well get over it! He's dead, gone, not coming back! People live, and then they die, it's always been like that, so get over it!" Purple Leader yelled.
I tried to hold back tears as he taunted me about Pau's death.
I still have his hoodie...
It's all I have left of him...
And yet the guy who killed him is right in front of me.
Just thinking about it began to piss me off.
"NIE JESTEŚ LEPSZY NIŻ ONI, NIE JESTEŚ LEPSZY NIŻ ONI!" I violently yelled at Purple Leader.
"FUCK THIS PLACE!" I yelled and gave Purple Leader the middle finger as I stormed off.
