Cecily's pov
my heart was pounding louder than it ever had. I was sweating, I was shaking, and I felt like I was going to throw up as Seth just smirked. I watched as he gripped Mariah and pulled her roughly down the ramp as she looked at me terrified. I wanted to just bust out in tears knowing this was all because of me. I wanted to run down there and grab her from Seth and run away. Neither could happen. If I did either Seth would feed off it, hurt her or dean worse. I wanted dean out here more than anything. Standing my ground, Seth started chuckling and spoke into the mic,
"Let me introduce my little friend here! Everyone this is Cecily's best friend Mariah."
the crowd boo'd as Seth forced her into the ring with him right behind her. I fought with everything I had to not run up and grab her, but I knew the consequences. Instead I fought the tears threatening to spill and tried to control my heavy breathing. Mariah looked at me apologetically and scared, but unfortunately I was in no state to reassure her things would be ok. Seth pushed Mariah behind him as he got in my face,
"what's wrong Cecily? Why are you just standing there while your best friend stands here scared and alone huh?" He smirked.
i growled as I clenched my fists at my side. I felt like I couldn't breathe.
"I brought my date cec? Where's yours?" He smirked evily.
"Where is he?" I growled.
"Let's just say dean is finally where he's meant to be. Locked up and contained by four walls" he smirked.
"I did everything you said! Where is he!" I growled.
"I know you did and that's very good of you. He was just an example of what would happen if you didn't." He smiled menacingly.
my breathing hitched with the thought of what happened to dean. Seth started circling me enjoying the fact he was making me squirm. I tried so hard to stay strong, but with everything with Mariah and now dean, I broke. My breathing grew so heavy to the point I felt like I was going to pass out.
"why don't we give the people a preview of mania?" He asked with amused eyes as he threw the mic down to the Mat.
i refused to make eye contact with him as I just looked down at the mat. I would not let him see how scared I was. I wouldn't give him that satisfaction.
"Jamie get me a chair!" I heard Seth yell.
without even flinching,I heard a steel chair be tossed in the ring to Seth and him chuckle. He crowd was going nuts both booing Seth and chanting "no no no." Some were even chanting "Ambrose", but none of that mattered, I couldn't do anything. Seth won. Hearing Seth walk closer to me, I braced myself for impact when an all too familiar music came on. Snapping my head up towards he ramp, I smiled in relief as I saw dean running as fast as he could to the ring. Seth's eyes widened as wide as they could as he dropped the chair onto the mat. As dean slid in the ring, Seth ran out he other side. Noticing he left Mariah in the ring, I immediately ran to her and hugged her as we both started crying. Dean pushed us both behind him as he starred down Seth who was now outside the ring starring in fear at dean. We watched as Seth and his security made their way to the ramp. Dean's eyes never leaving them until they were a safe distance away and then he turned towards us,
"you ok?"
i nodded and let go of Mariah to embrace dean tightly. As I'm hugging him, we are brought apart when Seth's angry voice sounded through the mic,
"hey you think you won!? You think this is over!?"
dean smirked as he kept a protective arm around my waist.
"you should know better than that dean. I always have something up my sleeve" Seth smirked.
i arched my eyebrows confused by the huge smirk on Seth's face. That was until a huge crash sounded and a searing pain spread across my back. Screaming in pain, I fell to the floor as dean starred In shock. Through all the pain, I looked above me and saw Mariah smiling down at me with a steel chair in her hands. Sensing the danger she was in, Mariah bolted out of the ring as dean charged after her. Once she was by Seth, they both smiled at us from the ramp as dean got down to my level,
"cec you ok? Cec! Keep your eyes open! Get me some help!" I heard dean scream.
my vision was blurring as I saw dean hovering over me worriedly,
"cec!" Was the last thing i heard before darkness overcame me.
