A/n: Thanks so much for 100 votes and 1k reads! This chapter is gonna be a little short but it's gonna be lots of fluff between y/n and shoto so i hope you enjoy it! I had a fun time writing this chapter and reading it over had me kicking my feet n shiii LMAO enjoy!
When you woke up, Shoto almost didn't wanna let you go. He said he was 'so warm and comfy' with you in his arms. It was really hard to resist the urge to not stay in bed with him but you needed to get back to your room before the others woke up. Who knows how hard it'd be to explain why you were coming out of Shoto's room at 5 in the morning.
You really weren't expecting anyone to be up this early on a day off, but surprisingly someone was. Thankfully, it was just Katsuki. He was sweeping the floor and he had his earbuds in. He didn't seem to notice you so you decided to try and scare him. You quietly made your way to the busy boy... Not like he could hear you or anything but what if he could sense you if you were too quick with your movements?
When you were close enough, you jumped on him and he was definitely scared. "What the fuck?!" You giggled and got off his back, "Sorry! I saw my chance and took it. Why are you out here cleaning so early?" He shrugged, "Just getting a head start. What are you doing over on the boy's side? Were you with your boyfriend?~" You rolled your eyes as he teased you, "Whatever Katsuki. We didn't do anything if that's what you're thinking you perv." He grabbed you by your collar, "WHAT'D YOU CALL ME?!" You laughed in his face. It's funny how ticked off he get's
"You missed a spot, pomeranian." That only pissed him off more. You swear you could see a tick mark on his forehead and smoke coming from his ears. "SHUT UP SHITTY HAIR!" You pouted, how dare he make fun of your bedhead? "So mean... Just don't be so loud. You're gonna wake people up. Anyways, are you gonna tell everyone you're on house arrest?" He sighed, "Well I'm gonna fucking have to. They're gonna see me only cleaning and not come to school for the next 4 days." You gave him a reassuring pat on his back, "Awe I'm sure they'll understand. Your punishment won't be that bad." He deadpanned, "So ya gonna help clean?" You scoffed, "Nah this is your punishment. Good luck, though! I'm gonna go to my room now, see ya!" He rolled his eyes as you walked off.

"Oh, Todoroki, Y/n. You guys going somewhere together?" You were kinda hoping to escape without your friends noticing but of course, that can't happen. "No. I'm visiting my mom and she's visiting her uncle." You anxiously waited to see if they'd buy the lie... "I see! Have fun!" The two of you nodded and quickly left. You did feel a little bad about lying to your friends but at least you're not hiding something terrible from them.
"So, where are we going?" You waited for a response from your boyfriend but you were just met with silence. "Sho..?" You glanced over at him and noticed he was staring at your hand. You poked him and he finally snapped out of it. "Did you wanna hold hands?" He slightly nodded.
"Yes, I do... But you're standing on my right side. My right side is naturally colder. I don't want your hand to feel cold." You giggled, he was so adorable. "I don't mind, really. Unless you want me to move to your left side?" He shook his head, "Then you'd be walking on outside of the sidewalk. I read online that you should have your partner walking on the inside."
You smiled and held his hand, "Then I'll just hold your hand from here. I'll be fine, I promise." His hand was indeed cold; you actually never noticed he'd only usually touch you with his left hand until now. He was always being so considerate of you. "We're going to Kamonegi. It's a restaurant I've been wanting to go to with you. Apparently, they have really good soba." You actually heard of it before. You were planning to take him there but seems like he beat you to it. "How come you like soba so much?" He gently squeezed your hand. Maybe I shouldn't have asked... You were gonna apologize but he began to speak
"My mom used to make it for me whenever I was sad. It would always cheer me up because it was tasty but mostly because she was the one who made it for me." You smiled a bit, happy that he trusts you enough to share things like this with you. "Do you have a favourite food?" You nodded, "Yeah I do! It's F/F." he asked why and your reasoning was kinda similar to his.
"My mom used to make it for me every year on my birthday and whenever I was sick. I remember I tried making it for her when she got sick but at the time, I didn't actually know how to cook so it came out barely edible. But she still ate it to make me happy..." You and Shoto laughed a bit, "Can we make it together one day..?" His question caught you off guard a bit, but cooking with people you care about was honestly one of your favourite things to do. "Of course. How about the next time we have a day off?" He nodded and the two of you continued to walk to the restaurant.

"Oh, they have other things too." You and Shoto were looking through the menu and everything looked so good! The prices were really high though... You felt bad because he offered to pay. "Don't worry about the prices, love. Order what you want." It's almost like he read your mind or something. He gave you a reassuring smile and so you looked through the menu while trying not to worry about the prices. After deciding what to order, you flagged down a waitress. "Welcome to Kamonegi. What would you-- Oh my, are you Todoroki Shoto?!" The two of you were caught off guard but Shoto nodded. "Yes, I am. Can we order now?"
"Of course, of course! I'm sorry it's just me and my friends all really love you! We were all in such awe when you were fighting during the sports festival! You're even more handsome in person..!" Who knew Shoto had fan girls. It was true, though, he was really attractive and watching him fight does mesmerize you. But you still felt a tiny bit jealous seeing another person gawk over him. "Thank you. Can we order now?" She nervously chuckled and nodded. "O-Of course! What can I get for you?"
You could tell she didn't really like you. Each time she spoke to Shoto, she'd be smiling, playing with her hair, and full of energy. But when she spoke to you, she gave you the bare minimum! She'd barely smile, she'd quickly rush to write down your order and you noticed she rolled her eyes at you. "You look really pretty. I like the way you did your hair today." His sudden compliment made your heart skip a beat. "Thank you..." From the corner of your eye, you could see the girl who took your order laughing at you with her friends. "What's wrong?"
You shook your head, "Nothing. I saw something outside." You didn't want any problems with that girl or her friends. She could flirt and fangirl over Shoto all she wanted; you don't even think Shoto noticed her advances. And you didn't wanna give her the satisfaction of seeing you jealous so you're just gonna pretend like you don't even notice it.
After some time, the food came out. Everything looked just as good as it did on the menu! "Enjoy your food, Todoroki!" She deadpanned to you, "You enjoy it too, I guess." She gave you a fake friendly smile and you returned it. The two of you said the usual thanks for the food and began to eat. "It's so good! Thanks for bringing me here." He nodded, "No worries. I didn't want to come until I had the chance to bring you here with me." You smiled and Shoto held out some food on his chopsticks. "Open." Your eyes widened a bit. He always finds ways to surprise you.
But you opened your mouth to let him feed you some of his food. Did they make their food with the tears of angels or something? Everything was so good! Though, you'd hope it'd taste this good with these prices... "It's delicious!" He smiled and nodded. "It is. But I think the soba you make me is better." You never knew Shoto would have such game. But you're more than sure it's not even intentional which makes it even better.
The two of you continued to eat and talk. That girl and her friends kept giving you dirty looks but you just ignored them. Then when the bill came, you tried your hardest to convince Shoto to let you help pay for half of it but he refused. "Here's your card, Todoroki! Also, I left something on the back of your card for you." She walked away and Shoto looked at the back and saw a piece of paper with a number and a heart on it. Shoto didn't say anything and stood up.
You watched as Shoto talked to the girl and she ended up running off. She looked embarrassed. Shoto walked back to you and held out his hand. "We can go now." You nodded and took his hand. "Babe, what did you say to her..?" he brushed away a hair from your face, "I told her I have a girlfriend and I gave her back the number she gave me." You smiled and the two of you walked out the restaurant. "That was the first time you called me a pet name." You quirked your brow in confusion. "D-Did I really?!" He nodded, "I liked it." You honestly didn't even notice. You thought the first time you called him something other than Shoto or Sho would be awkward since you've never called anyone a pet name before... But you didn't even notice!
"Are we going back to the dorms?" He shook his head. You assumed he wanted to visit his mom before you guys went back home. "No, I want to take you somewhere else first." You smiled, excited to hang out with your boyfriend some more. "Sounds fun. Where to?" He smiled a bit, "You'll see when we get there." You pouted a bit and begged for him to tell you where he was taking you but he wouldn't tell you even when you gave him your puppy dog eyes!

"The aquarium? I haven't been here since I was a kid!" You were really excited, they must have a bunch of new things in there! "I've never been." You smiled, "I remember it being really fun. And it still is, look how many people there are!" The two of you walked in and you offered to pay for the tickets since he paid for the food but he, of course, didn't let you. And so, the two of you walked around and looked at all the exhibits once you got the tickets.
There were a lot of new ones in there. It looked a lot prettier than you remembered. You guys were even allowed to touch some stingrays! You and Shoto took a lot of pictures together. Though, you had to teach Shoto some poses because he would stand there like a robot. "Let's go over there!"
You dragged your boyfriend over to the prettiest part of the aquarium: The Passages of the Deep. It was a beautiful tunnel filled with lots of sea animals. You could even see them swimming above your head. "Wow... Y/n, look." He pulled you over to where a shark was. He looked so amazed by this place. "I never got to enjoy things like this as a kid. So seeing it now... and with you... I feel really happy right now." You smiled and watched all the sea animals swim around with him.
"I'm happy too." You squeezed his hand and he turned to look at you. "There's a lot of things I've never done, things like this. And I hope I can do them with you." He placed a kiss on your forehead and you nodded. "Of course, we can." The two of you walked around the exhibit for a little while longer. Shoto took a bunch of pictures of you, the sea animals and you and the sea animals together. You guys were just about to leave when you saw a photo booth. "Look babe a photo booth! Can we?" He nodded and the two of you stepped in.
He, of course, paid again. Was this guy ever gonna let you pay for once? "What poses do you want to do?" You thought about it for a second, "Let's just come up with them as we go." He nodded and the first pose you guys did was a simple but cute hand heart. The next one was you giving Shoto bunny ears, the third was you with your arms around his neck and the last one... "Y/n." Shoto gently placed his hand on your face and kissed you. "Please grab your pictures on the outside of the Photo Booth. Good day!" The machine kinda interrupted you guys but the kiss was still good.
Shoto placed one more kiss on your lips before the two of you got out and grabbed the pictures. He lovingly admired the pictures you guys just took and placed it in his wallet. "Ready?" He nodded and the two of you began to walk back home.

While you guys were walking back to the dorms, you and Shoto stopped by a bakery and bought a few things. Shoto surprisingly had a bit of a sweet tooth; he was tearing those strawberry danishes up. You guys took a few home to enjoy another time. You looked around and noticed you guys were near the hospital Shoto's mom stays in. "Sho, do you wanna see your mom? Visiting hours should still open." He thought about it, "You wouldn't mind?" You shook your head, "Of course, I won't babe she's your mom. You only get to see her on the weekend and on days off. You can even give her some of the pastries we bought." He nodded and the two of you made your way to the hospital.
When you two got there, the nurses greeted you guys and you went to Shoto's mom's room. "I'll wait out here. Tell her I said hi." He nodded and went in. You were scrolling through your phone when Shoto came out just a little less than 10 minutes later which was strange because he'd usually be with his mom way longer than that. "My mom wants to meet you." You felt your heart drop a little. You've met his siblings and dad before but meeting his mother made you feel so nervous especially since she knows you guys are dating. You truly weren't expecting to meet his mom today. "Okay. Do I look okay? Do you think she'll like me? Should I have brought flowers or something?!"
Shoto placed a hand on your head and gently stroked your hair. "Don't worry baby. You look beautiful. I promise she'll love you. You don't need flowers. You don't have to meet her yet if you're not ready." You calmed down, "No I wanna meet her. I'm just a little nervous, that's all." He reassured you once more before you two walked in. "Hello, it's really nice to finally meet you, Y/n." You bowed, "It's nice to finally meet you too. Shoto has told me a lot about you, Mrs. Todoroki." She stood up and gave you a hug.
"You don't need to be so formal. Please, call me Rei. Sit, sit." You nodded and sat right across from her. "Shoto, will you please bring us something to drink?" You got really nervous thinking about staying in a room alone with Shoto's mom... He nodded and left the room. "So, Shoto's told me a lot about you. He seems to really like you. He's always talking about you." Her smile was so lovely. You can see who Shoto gets it from.
"R-Really?" She nodded. "That's why I've been so excited to meet you. I also wanted to say thank you." you quirked your head to the side, confused as to why she wanted to thank you even though this is the first time you guys have met. "Fuyumi and Natsuo have told me that they noticed a change in Shoto after meeting you. He had a hard upbringing, and I'm one of the reasons why that was. It's what lead him to be so cold and closed off. But ever since he's met you, he's become less of those things. I've seen it a bit too. So thank you."
You smiled and nodded. "I can't take all the credit... Shoto's made a lot of friends and they've helped him come out of his shell too." She smiled, "Either way, thank you. Shoto tells me you two went on a date today, how was it?" you told her about your date with Shoto and fun it was. Shoto eventually came back the three of you talked until you two had to leave due to visiting hours being over.
She was really fun to talk to so you were nervous for no reason. "Please bring her again, Shoto. It was lovely meeting you, Y/n." You nodded, "It was nice meeting you too. I'll make sure to come with Shoto the next time he comes. I'll bring more of these pastries too!" She had a sweet tooth too, another thing Shoto got from his mom. You and Shoto said your goodbyes once more before leaving.

"HAH! I beat you again! Y/n 5, Shoto 4!" You and Shoto have been playing Street Fighter for a while now. Everyone was in their rooms already and the walls were pretty thick so it didn't really matter if you guys were being loud while playing video games. "No fair, you cheated again." You dramatically gasped, these accusations are not true! "What?! How could you say that? I would never! How about one more? Either I win or we tie." He nodded and you two started another fight after choosing your characters; your favourite character were Ryu and Kimberly. Their play style and character designs were so fun and cool. Please
"Uh oh, looks like you're already losing!" You and Shoto didn't really know many button combos so most of the time, you guys are just smashing random buttons. Sometimes there would be a crazy move that would happen but neither of you knew how it happened! But you guys made it a rule that you guys can't look at the combo list so there goes that.
You ended up winning the first round, Shoto won the second and so now, this would be the last round; either you win or you and Sho end up tied. Lots of random button smashes later, you guys had just about the same amount of health left. Though, both were pretty low on health.
The final face-off. "Sorry sho, but you might as well accept your def--" Just then, your boyfriend placed his cold hand under your shirt, right on the small of your back. His action sent a shiver down your spine and that was just enough of a distraction for him to make his final blow on your character. "Player 2 is the winner!"
"What? No fair you cheated!" Shoto chuckled and kissed your forehead, "What do you mean? I'd never do such a thing." you playfully stuck your tongue out at your boyfriend. "That was such a cruel move!" You looked at the time and thought it was probably time to sleep. "We should go to bed. We have school tomorrow, we can't be up too late." The two of you stood up and put everything in its place before getting into bed.
"Y'know we sleep in the same bed together like every night" Shoto nodded, "Do you mind? I can leave if you'd like." You frantically shook your head, "No, no! I really enjoy doing this with you. I just think it's a little funny how there hasn't been a night that we've not slept together in a while. I feel like it'll feel a little weird when we're not sleeping together now." Shoto hummed in response. "It does. I don't sleep as comfortably when I'm not with you." You smiled and placed a kiss on his lips. "Goodnight, love."
He couldn't resist the urge to kiss you again, so he did. Kissing you became one of his favourite activities. It feels so warm and comforting and so intimate. Your lips are just so soft and kissable. Honestly, he enjoys doing anything with you. You guys don't even have to talk; he just really likes knowing you're there with him.
