Having moved to stand beside the others and watch the remainder of the fight you found it cute how Anne right away ran towards the railing right beside you, the smaller girl sparing a glance towards you before looking into the water.

You had assumed she was still confused about what was happening but wanted to feel included regardless.

Casting your gaze across the water's surface you watched Jotaro break through the surface, "That's my grandson for you! Well done, Jotaro! Hurry and come u-" Moving to throw the boats life safer Joseph was interrupted as a loud boom sounded, the entire vessel shook from the noise.

"A bomb! He planted a bomb!" Yelling that out you right away moved to tug Anne behind you, the smaller girl opened her mouth to protest yet nothing came out.

Running ahead of the group Avdol began pointing towards sections of the boat waving his hands as though he were directing planes, "Everyone, hurry to the emergency boats!" Without hesitation, the entire boat evacuated onto smaller wooden boats.

Your little group in one and the crew in a few others.

Having taken up a spot by the front of the smaller boat a few hours or so had passed, and the constant bobbing of the vessel in response to the ocean's waves merely drew out a low groan from you.

"When do you think we're going to start seeing other boats?" Shifting in place as though it would help you become more comfortable, your eyes trailed towards Polnareff who'd been seated closest to where you'd been.

Letting out a long sigh he leaned back onto the boat's edge, head tilting up while the man closed his eyes. "Beats me, but I hope it's soon. Floating around the ocean doesn't exactly sound that adventurous in my opinion." Finishing with that a long sigh followed, something you mimicked in order to show you agreed with what he was saying.

Opening your mouth to speak Anne's voice from the back of the boat called out, her small arm reaching out to point towards something. "Everyone, look!" Following where she was pointing your eyes trailed upwards to see a massive freighter, something you were confused as to why nobody had spotted it before.

"Doesn't anyone find it weird how none of us noticed a ginormous ship nor that there doesn't seem to be any crew to help us?" Calling that out you shifted in place to sit more along the front of the boat, eyes lingering on the stairs that have been lowered.

Clicking his tongue, Jotaro eyed the ship skeptically as well, "It's very weird." Agreeing with what you'd said the ebony haired man became quiet right after.

"Weird or not they came all this way to rescue us." Being the first to hop off the boat and onto the stairs Polnareff peered back towards the group, "There has to be someone abroad even if they're all stand users, I'm getting on this ship." Declaring that the white haired man began climbing the stairs.

Spending a second or two contemplating on what to do the group inevitably chose to step onto the freighter.

Remaining by the front and holding onto the stair railing you patiently waited for everyone to step off before doing so yourself, you really were the only thing keeping the boat from drifting off.

Seeing Anne near as the last person aboard she was offered help from Jotaro, the ebony haired man offering her a hand. "Grab on. I'll help you up." Awaiting her response the girl merely ignored him choosing to jump towards Joseph who'd instinctually accommodated the kid, her tongue was stuck out towards the Kujo causing you to laugh faintly. "Gimme a break."

"She's got quite the personality, that one." Musing that out your eyes lingered over Joseph's back watching the older man carry Anne onto the boat, it was funny she decided to go with that route just to annoy Jotaro.

Raising a hand he pulled on the brim of his hat, a huff left his lips in response. "Yeah, an annoying one."

"She's a kid Jotaro," Beginning with that you rolled your eyes, stepping onto the stairs finally. "You were probably like that too at some point." Absentmindedly extending a hand and flicking the underneath of his hat, instant regret flooded your system at realizing what you'd just done. Teal eyes glared at you from beneath the cap though nothing was said, the ebony haired man instead letting out what you'd assume to be an annoyed grunt fixing how it sat.

Having expected some sort of repercussion for touching his hat you were surprised to watch him turn in place stepping up the stairs, hands shoved into his pockets. "Whatever."

Keeping your eyes along his back you took in a breath, he was certainly no Jonathan nor young Joseph- that was for sure. But you could see aspects of the two in him.

Moving up the stairs yourself you trailed around the boat skeptically as did the others, the boat was too suspiciously empty for everything to be running the way it was. Even where the wheel was not a single soul was found.

"I don't understand, where is everyone." Speaking up while trailing towards one of the ship's walls you rested your ear onto the cool surface, Stand seeping into the metal and around the ship searching for more heartbeats or anything that'd signify another person aboard.

Catching sight of the faint way your body distorted Joseph pursed his lips into a line, "Anything?"

Focusing more on what you were doing you could sense a heart that's been beating differently from the others, the location of which was somewhere the group hadn't checked. "Found something." Calling that out and pulling away from the wall your stand withdrew quickly, the static sound it emitted disappeared along with it. "There's one other thing on this boat other than us."

"Thing?" Pointing out that you didn't say person Avdol raised a brow in question.

"They have an irregular heart beat, so I'm assuming it has to be something bigger than a person." Explaining that you went to add on before Anna called out to the group, the girl once again finding something.

"Guys, over here, look!"

Glancing your way the group watched you trail over first entering the new room, your eyes right away falling onto a cage within the center of it that held an auburn orangutan. "A monkey? There's a monkey on board?"

"Must've been why it had a different heart beat." Musing that out as he stood beside you, Joseph raised a hand holding it beneath his chin. "But this doesn't make sense who the hell is feeding the thing then."

"Perhaps if there is a stand user on board they can hide their presence?" Suggesting that Kakyoin's words got the group's attention. "We should still split up and look around the ship."

Watching the guys begin filling out you lingered behind with Anne, "Yeah split up. Isn't that how people die in the movies?" Muttering that under your breath you couldn't help but glance back towards the orangutan, it's gaze was so- unsettling.

Seeing that Anna had also paused to peer back, you stepped forward nudging her towards the door, "Come on, this thing gives me the creeps." Fully expecting her to snap back at you for ushering her out you were pleasantly surprised as the girl nodded her head exiting the room with you quickly.

The remainder of the crew from the previous ship; from what you could tell, circled around a crane checking over the machinery. Avdol was also over there chatting with a few before the crane's hook swung down stabbing through one of the crewmembers heads.

"Don't look." Right away moving your hands to block Anne's gaze your own was blocked as well; why? You really didn't know, it wasn't like you haven't seen blood before. "Seriously?"

Rolling his eyes at you the delinquent had pulled back, attention now trailing towards Joseph who spoke up directing the large group. "Hey! Don't touch any of the machinery! If it moves or runs on electricity, don't lay a finger on it. If you want to live, follow my orders! Don't leave the cabin down below until we say it's okay."

A chorus of 'yes sir's' sounded after the older man had finished and the cluster of white and blue striped men began walking towards a different section of the boat, Anne moving to trail behind them as well. A semicircle was now made from your small group, "Did anyone catch a glimpse of a Stand just now?"

'No's circled around the group leading to the older man releasing a breath, there was no way this wasn't as Stand.

"I'll have Hierophant Green take a look." Stating that Kakyoin's stand had emerged from behind him, the humanoid figure trailing off to the side before slipping into a crack between the ships panelling.

Catching sight of the small brunette lingering by an open doorway, Joseph began to approach her, the tall man kneeling down in front of her raising a hand. "There's one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty. We're on your side. So please, stay close to the others and if you need anything just call." Finishing with that he watched her give a nod in understanding before running off.

Rising back up and turning around Joseph's eyes right away took in the faint smile set out across your expression, the others as well had similar looks of their own."What?"

Being the one to respond you nodded your head faintly, "That was cute Joseph, how you talked to her." Beginning with that you added on. "I didn't know you were good with kids."

Rolling his eyes at your comment he patted his hands together before trailing over, his arm reaching out to ruffle up your hair despite your protests. "I interact with you, don't I?"

At that the others laughed softly watching you slap his hand away, a hand raised and finger extended outwards on your end as though you'd begun scolding the old man.

"Their relationship is certainly something." Absentmindedly stating that Kakyoin hummed faintly, whenever you and Joseph interacted he couldn't help but feel out of the loop- the others were clearly out of it too,

But what even was the loop?
