Presenting
A stage in a person's life where their sub-genders are revealed (essentially like a second puberty). Enigmas, Omegas and Prime Omegas tend to present earlier than other sub-genders. From ages 12-15. Alphas tend to present around 15-18. Due to their extra reproductive systems, betas tend to present much later, around 17-22.
Heats
A cycle of time where an omega or beta is at their highest hormonal cycle and fertility rate. Their bodies produce heavy aphrodisiac-like pheromones along with slick to lure in a mate with the intention of making a baby. Their sub-genders take complete control over their body causing them to be extremely vulnerable but they are still aware of what is happening around them. They range from 3 to 7 days.
Nests
A comfort space created in a bed or a safe and sheltered area by omegas, prime omegas, and betas. They're made in many different shapes and forms.
Ruts
A cycle of time where an enigma, alpha, or beta is at their highest hormonal cycle and fertility rate. Their pheromones and commands are stronger and harder to resist during this time. Their sex drive is high and they form knots more frequently. Alphas have a harder time staying lucid compared to other sub-genders during their cycles because it is the only time their alphas allow them to rest and be vulnerable. They range from 2 to 6 days.
Dens
The living space of an enigma, alpha or beta.
An area created in a bed or a safe space by an alpha or beta with the intention or purpose of an omega or beta creating a nest for them (a courting ritual).
Sub-gender eyes
An eye color that shows the status of a person's sub-gender and sense of mentality or control.
Red - A basic color of an alpha. It's also a sign that an alpha comes from a strong bloodline of alphas.
Purple - A common color shown when an alpha has a strong mix of omega or beta genes. It's also an indicator that the alpha had a high chance of presenting as an omega.
Black and red - Black irises, red pupils. the color of an enigma.
Gold - A basic color of an omega. A sign they come from a bloodline of the most basic mating dynamic, alphas and omegas.
Green - A color shown when an omega has a strong bloodline of betas and high chance of presenting as a beta.
Turquoise - A basic color for a Prime Omega. It's also a sign that they have a strong bloodline of alphas.
Orange - A color shown when a Prime Omega has a strong mix of omega genes. The darker the orange, the higher the chance of them presenting as an alpha. The paler the orange, the higher the chance of them presenting as an omega or beta.
Silver - A basic color of a beta. A strong sign of heavy beta genes.
Blue - A color shown when a beta has strong alpha and omega genes. The darker the blue, the higher the chance of them presenting as an alpha. The paler the blue, the higher the chance of them presenting as an omega.
Scent glands
An area of skin that produces pheromones in the form of an extremely thin oil-like bodily-liquid. can attract a potential mate and express feelings. Appears as regular skin and is approximately 3 inches long. Can become raised or swollen when actively stimulated, irritated by constant concealment, or negative emotions. Scent gland locations: left and right side of the neck, cheeks, inner wrists, hips, and lower inner thighs.
Slick
A bodily fluid produced by omegas and betas. Has the ability to attract other sub-genders and is created when aroused
Primal
When a person is more intune with their sub-gender, they are considered primal. Being primal is a type of headspace, a place in your mind where your subconscious is taken over by your sub-gender/inner wolf. Your actions are that of your wolf and your instincts are stronger
Sub Drop
An action triggered by an emotional reaction that forces their sub-genders into control to protect themselves. Can be dangerous if triggered by negative emotions or a traumatic event. The person becomes semi-unresponsive, almost as if they're in a wakened comatose state.
Feral
A person is feral when a traumatic event takes place that juts their instincts into overdrive causing their sub-gender to completely take control of their body, sheltering themselves and lashing out using violence.
Commands
An authoritative tone of voice used by enigmas, alphas and prime omegas that can order and control other sub-genders to their will.
Collars
A necklace that symbols a sense of ownership or a claim made by an alpha or a Pack Alpha.
Marks
A mark caused by the venom of a person's fangs when bitten into a scent gland (neck for permanent bonds, wrist for temporary bonds). The left scent glands are for pack marks. The right scent glands are for mating marks.
