Ash grabbed his new outfit and tried it on. His jacket was blue with a white stripe that was thick and went around his chest and a thin stripe that went down his zipper in both sides of this jacket. His hat, was red with half of a pokeball in white on it. His shoes, red with white circling the front and the back of the shoes. His gloves were a plain black and was open fingered. His backpack was red with a white pokeball on it as well and wore jeans that were a light gray.
"Pika!" Pikachu jumped up onto Ash's shoulder.
Ash turned toward his long life friend that he's traveled with since he was ten and said, "We're going back to Kalos, buddy!"
"Pika, Pikachu!" Exclaimed Pikachu in its excitement.
Ash then went to his room to grab something. On a shelf there was a blue ribbon, he grabbed it and carefully put it in his backpack. Before he left the room he looked at the shelf again where his Kalos badges were there in its case. He went up to it and grabbed that too, stuffing it into his backpack. He ran out of the room and to the front door, but then someone yelled his name before he could touch the doorknob.
"Ash! Don't forget this!" Yelled his mother, holding his lunch.
"Oh, thanks Mom." Said Ash taking the paper bag.
His mom hugged him and then kissed him on the cheek wishing him good luck.
He ran out the front door and waved behind him, saying goodbye.

"It's been almost 6 years Pikachu!" Exclaimed Ash as he faced Pikachu who was walking on the ground next to him. They were now at the airport, ready to board.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said with static coming out of his cheeks.
They boarded the plane and got in their seats and waited for it take off. It took a while but the plane finally started to move upwards until it was finally off of the ground and into the air. They soon saw the ocean underneath them and then the clouds out the window of the plane.
It took about 3 hours until the finally got to Lumious City, Kalos, but when they did, Ash ran down the stairs that were attached to the airplane and saw how much Lumiose City has changed. There were robots everywhere to help you with multiple things and the gym looked kinda different, it looked a bit taller and it had a slightly new design on it. Ash hastily ran to the gym to see his old friend, Clemont and Bonnie.
He ran though multiple people, Pokemon, and robots. Once he finally reached the gym, he entered and it was even more modern then last time. There were lights that blinked off and on once he entered and then a platform came out from the ground with a girl standing on it. It was Bonnie! She now wore a short sleeved shirt that was pink, with yellow flowers on it. She had a different bag then last time, it was still yellow but slightly bigger, with Dedenne's head poking out of it. She wore shorts that were a light blue and her shoes were a bright yellow. Her hair was short, but nothing hold it up except for a headband that was pink with a yellow flower on it as well.
"Welcome to the Lumi-" Bonnie stopped in the middle of her sentence as she gazed at Ash. "Ash!? Is that you?" Asked Bonnie as she stepped off the platform and ran to Ash, hugging him.
"You're back!" Yelled Bonnie. "You barely even changed! You still don't brush your hair I see! But you've gotten a lot taller! And Pikachu looks the same too!" Bonnie giggled.
"Your right!"Ash said laughing. He put his hand on top of Bonnie's head. "And you've gotten a lot taller as well! How old are you now?"
"I'm 13! I'm finally a teen so now no one can treat me like a child! Not even my brother!" Exclaimed Bonnie.
"That reminds me. Where's you brother? Is he doing well?" Asked Ash.
"Yeah he's doing great, but his names for his robots hasn't gotten any better, have you seen them around Lumious City?"
"Clemont made those? Wow he must be a really good inventor now, huh?" Ash smiled.
"Yeah, he's been traveling around the world to help build and innovate stuff!" Said Bonnie, proudly.
Bonnie led Ash to an elevator and Bonnie pressed the button that read "5th Floor" and the elevator lifted up. Once they reached the level, the battle field was shown and a person who was standing on the other side of the battlefield stood their waiting for an opponent. He had blonde hair with his blue eyes that had glasses in front of them. Clemont. He heard the elevator and turned around expecting Bonnie.
"What is it Bo-" Asked the Clemont, but stopped in the middle of his sentence. "Who- is that?" Clemont asked now fully facing them.
"It's Ash, big bro!" Yelled Bonnie as they stepped out of the elevator.
"Wow, so it really is you!" Clemont said as he walked up to Ash. Clemont wore almost the same outfit he did last time, except this time it was less baggy and was a little darker blue. He had the same backpack as well, but it seemed more updated, with other gadgets besides just the mechanical arm. Clemont also wore the same glasses, his hair in the same style as well.
Ash came up and shook Clemont's hand. "It's good to see you too." Ash grinned.
Then the robotic hand from his backpack shook his hand as well.
The robot started to speak, "Hello, there! You are Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town! You have defeated Clemont and have gotten all of the eight Kalos gym badges!"
"How did it know my name?" Asked Ash.
"It scanned you and he reconized you, from you entering the Kalos Pokemon League and he is known to reconize people who have battled me." Said Clemont proudly and pushed his glasses back towards his head.
"Wow, science is so amazing!" Yelled Ash with a smile.
"You haven't changed a bit, Ash!" Clemont said, fixing his glasses.
"That's what Bonnie said!" Ash laughed.
They all talked a bit about what was going on in their lives and what happened while they were all apart.
"Hey, have you met Serena yet Ash?" Asked Bonnie.
"Oh, no I haven't." Said Ash, wondering about where and how she was now.
"She's Kalos Queen now!" Bonnie exclaimed, admiration in her eyes. "She does these amazing showcases! I she her all over Lumious City, like on billboards and T.V. and in magazines and on the news and-"
"Ok Bonnie I think we get it." Said Clemont, getting tired of her rambling.
"That's nice to hear, I'm happy for her! Can we see her by any chance?" Ash asked.
"No, I don't think so." Bonnie frowned. "She won't be in Lumious City to do a Performance for a while now."
"Oh, okay then. Where will she be next then? To do a performance?"
"Um, I don't know. But I can look it up and see." Bonnie said, getting out a device that looked clean and clear. She looked through it and typed something into it. "All the tickets are sold out already."
Ash again upset, asked her where.
"Um, it's going to be at Coumarine City!" Said Bonnie.
"Okay thanks. I think I'll be heading out now." Said Ash, heading back to the elevator.
"Wait! Where are you going?!" Bonnie asked, now sad that he was leaving so soon.
"I'm going to Coumarine City. " Ash said flatly and pressed the botton for floor 1.
"Wait!" Bonnie ran to the elevator and pusses open the elevator doors before it closed. "Let us come with you!
"But don't you have to take care of the Gym?" Asked Ash.
"I can leave Clembot here." Said Clemont as he walked over to Bonnie.
"Well... I guess you guys can come then!" Said Ash, a smile plastered onto his face.

"So... why do you want to see Serena anyway Ash?" Asked Clemont as they started to walk out of Lumiose City.
"The day before I left Kalos, the guy in the cloak said he would be back and I have a feeling it has something to do with Serena." Said Ash, sternly.
"So.. You think that the man in the black cloak is coming after Serena?" Clemont asked.
"Yeah."
"How do you know he's coming now?"
"Because he said so himself." Replied Ash, as they walked out of the city.
"Is Serena going to be okay?" Asked Bonnie, stoping and looking back at them who were trailing behind her.
Ash caught up to her and said, "Of course she will!"
"We'll protect her!" Clemont added.
"She has her Pokemon after all!" Said Ash.
"Oh, Ash I also forgot to tell you, Pancham and Braizen and Eevee evolved!" Exclaimed Bonnie, now ahead again.
"Really? So then Braixen evolved into a Delphox and Pancham into a Pangoro! What did Eevee evolve into?" Ash asked.
"It evolved into a Sylveon."
"Wow, that's cool!" Exclaimed Ash.
Bonnie stopped again to wait for them to catch up and asked, "Ash do you have your Pokemon from Kalos with you?"
"Oh, yeah I got them yesterday before I left."
"Then why don't we ride on your Talonflame to Coumarine City? Wouldn't it be a lot quicker and we could get there without you two slowbros wasting time." Scolded Bonnie.
"Agh, she is such a teenager." Clemont sighed..
Ash got out his Talonflame and they all got on it. It flew to Coumarine City in about 10 minutes. Everyone got off and Ash retrieved Talonflame. They passed the gym which brought back memories. Then they saw the Vow Tree. It was still the tallest tree Ash has ever seen and he felt like it even grew a little bit. He then remembered that this was the place where Ash gave Serena the blue ribbon. He smiled looking back on it. 'We were so young.' He thought.
"The tree looks bigger!" Exclaimed Bonnie.
They walked over to the Vow Tree and once they got closer they saw a stage set up. The sun was coming down and the show would start at 7:00 pm. The roof was open, the building just a bunch plastic walls, to make sure no one snuck in. There was seats set up and most people were already seated. There was also two security guards at the entrance.
"I guess we'll just wait." Said Ash.
The time passed by and more people took their seats. When the lights came on, facing the stage. Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie played close attention as they watched from a hill in the city. They could barely see anything. The show went on for about a half hour. Bonnie kept complaining about how she couldn't see, while Clemont tried to stop her complaints. Ash kept trying to focus on the performances, but no matter how hard he tried, his eyes couldn't see that far. He only saw 3 or sometimes 4 figures moving around on the stage with sparks and flares now and then. Eventually when the lights went off, Ash jumped up and told them that the show was over. They rushed down the hill and across the hill, trying to get their as fast as they could. But before they could reach it, they saw a limousine zoomed off from Coumarine City once they finally reached the back of the stage.
"No! We missed her!" Whined Bonnie.
Everyone looked at the ground now. Everyone felt sad that they missed Serena.
While everyone was moping back to the city, someone who was also coming back from the performance, who walked up to Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie and poked Ash's shoulder.
