Once the premier has ended, Austin and I are navigating our way through the crowd of reporters and photographers, trying to get back to our hotel for a chill night after the exhausting day. I notice someone walking behind us, and turn to see none other than Priscilla.
"I'm getting too old to speed walk," she jokes. After we share a laugh, she tells us, "Lisa and I were talking and we think you should come visit us at Graceland, Austin. We'll have a late night meal, talk, I'll show you around. What do you say?" The smile on Priscilla's face is hard to say no to, and I know Austin wants to go.
Austin looks down to me with a questioning look on his face. I answer, "You should go babe." His brow furrows as he asks if I'm sure. "Yes. Go, I'll be fine," I laugh.
Priscilla beams with happiness, pulling Austin into a hug, "Great! It's being arranged right now, you could meet us there in...," she pauses to look at her watch, "Thirty minutes?" She then turns to me, "Thank you, dear, for letting me steal him tonight."
"Of course," I say, leaning in to kiss her cheek, "Anytime." The two of us wave goodbye and go back to our new hotel, where Austin changes into more casual clothes.
"Are you sure it's okay if I go, babe?" Austin's concern shows on his face. He's asking me while buttoning his classic pair of Levi's. "Because Dr. Nelson said you might get bad cramps and I don't want you to be sick all alone."
"I'm sure, Austin," I assure him. "I just texted Olivia and she's gonna be here soon. She's wrapping up at the premiere."
"Okay. Text me if you don't feel good." He places a bottle of Advil on the nightside table, along with a glass of fresh water. This man is too good to me.
"I will be fine, Austin," I tell him walking toward my suitcase to grab more comfortable clothes, "You should get going. Don't want to be late." He says goodbye, before rushing out of the door.
