Night had always been a peaceful, yet dangerous time. You'll never know what might happen to you while you're out at night.
There were two men out tonight, one was standing near a bench and another one was sitting on said bench.
“Nice to see you again. I trust that you have acquired new information?” a dark and sinister voice asked, it was from the man sitting on the bench.
The man who was standing puffed out some smoke before speaking “No, they don't know what's going to happen soon.”
The man sitting on the bench cackled “Good, and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm counting on you.”
“Yes sir, I won't disappoint you.”

Today was a slow day again and Octavius couldn't be more grateful for it.
Him and the other library staff can just mind their own businesses without worrying about any large crowds.
But something was still bothering the Italian, he wanted to relax for a while but his mind isn't letting him.
He's curious as to what the Explorer's planning right now and when the villain's going to strike. These thoughts don't seem to be going away anytime soon.
“Tavi? Hellooo” a cheery voice called out to him, his thoughts automatically go away as he turns his head to see Jedediah by his side.
“What's wrong with ya, Somethin’ going on?” the blonde asks in a worried tone, Octavius immediately shakes his head “No! No, I-- maybe there's something--- It's a bit complicated..” he rests his head on the desk.
Jedediah shuffles awkwardly infront of him “Maybe you can talk to me about ‘em? I can always try an’ help you.” Octavius contemplates the idea for a while.
“I... I don't know Jed, it's a very private matter and I don't really feel comfortable sharing.” Jedediah nods understandingly, before ruffling Octavius’ hair “Alrighty then, if things DO get too much, I'm here for ya.” Octavius looks at him, before smiling genuinely.
“Okay then, I'll keep that in mind.”

Octavius locks the library doors before walking quickly looks for an alley.
Once he finally finds an alleyway where he isn't easily seen, he places his bag down on the ground and opens it to reveal his hero suit with it's own cape. The Italian takes the suit and observes it to make sure nothing was ripped or anything.
The suit was made out of red and grey spandex, both colors mixed to create some type of Spider-Man like suit, although the cape made it seem like both spiderman and superman's suits were fused.
He gets dressed and grabs a helmet from his bag and puts it on, making his hair messy during the process.
He leaves his bag there and flies to the police station. After a few minutes of flying, he lands behind the station and knocks on the backdoor. Whenever he visits the station, he always comes in through the back to avoid any civilians.
A few moments later, the door unlocks and reveals a tired young lady with messy curly hair “Hmmm? Oh, hey Augustus.” she mumbles. It was Cruz, the officer Augustus was with that day the Explorer escaped.
Augustus smiles at her and steps in the station, suddenly a hoard of officers start asking him questions like, “If he's seen anything yet.” or “If he'll be staying for long.”
Cruz groans and shouts “Get back to your posts people! Give him some space atleast.” the officers immediately back off of Augustus.
“Thank you Ms. Cruz, I won't be staying for long though. Don't want to take too much of your time.” the female cop nods and picks up a cup of coffee sitting by her desk “Don't worry I don't mind. We'll be here for a night shift anyways.” she says before taking a sip of her coffee.
The smell of coffee is present in the station, it seems that everyone was running on caffeine tonight, ‘Consuming caffeine everyday seems unhealthy, but I'm not gonna judge them.’ Augustus thinks to himself as him and Cruz make their way to the chief's office.
When they finally get there, Cruz knocks on the door and after a few moments a faint voice was heard on the other side that said “Come in” Augustus and Cruz open the door to see the chief, George Armstrong, and a new officer.
“Good evening mr. Armstrong, do you mind if I ask who this is?” Augustus asked, George smiles brightly “Ah Augustus! This is Lancelot Du Lac, he's a new recruit. Introduce yourself Lance.”
Augustus and Lancelot face each other wich gave Augustus time to observe the new recruit. Lancelot had blue eyes and blonde hair that reminded him of Jedediah's, it was also no doubt that he was a tall man, taller than Augustus even. Lancelot extends his arm and goes “I'm very honored to meet you Augustus! I really admire your work.” the hero shakes the newly recruit's hand “Thank you, really glad you're able to join us.” he says with a smile.
“Alright then! Now that you both know each other, are there any new reports Ms. Cruz?” George asks, turning to the tired woman sipping on her cup “No, there's nothing new happening at the moment.” she tiredly said.
The chief sighs, rubbing his temple “Alright then. Cruz go patrol the streets, I have a feeling we'll need it.” he turns to Lancelot “You go with Cruz, okay?” the rookie nods.

Augustus flew slowly, inspecting the town to see if there was anything suspicious going on.
A few kilometers away was Cruz and Lancelot inside the same vehicle, they were patrolling together and Augustus was thankful they were helping him with the patrol tonight.
He hums quietly to himself, the feeling of loneliness was starting to gnaw at him.
‘When Saturday comes, Wea and Teddy will be holding another dinner.’ he thinks to himself. Sacajawea has already invited him and he gratefully accepted the offer.
‘I wonder if Jed's coming..’ he couldn't help but ask himself.
Suddenly, he sees a figure running fast on top of the buildings, the figure leaps from one building to another and that already gives Augustus an idea on who this could be.
He starts flying faster, lowering himself a bit to get an even better look on who this person is and not to his surprise, it was the Explorer, running fast with a grin on his face.
“Going somewhere?” the hero asked, Explorer quickly turns his head and his eyes widen in shock “Spandex boy! Didn't think I'd see you here.” he says in a mocking tone while still running.
Augustus starts to catch up with the cowboy, but the other man has plans of his own.
“Catch me if you can Gus!” he teases as he jumps from one building to another, ‘He's basically playing hopscotch right now.’ Augustus thinks to himself, he couldn't help but chuckle at that idea.
He looks ahead to see where the Explorer might be headed, and he sees the villain heading towards a seven storey building ‘He'll run out of energy if he keeps this up’ this gives Augustus an idea.
“What, can't catch up no more?” the Explorer taunts, making Augustus annoyed even more.
When they're near the tall building, Augustus lets the cowboy jump first before landing in front of him to try and stop the villain “I can still catch up, thank you.”
The Explorer furrows his eyebrows “Why can't you just let me be? The poor guy's just tryin’ to earn a living.” the hero raises an eyebrow “By doing crimes and partnering with other villains?”
Before Augustus can speak, the Explorer suddenly throws a punch, the brunette wobbles a bit before standing firm on his feet “You do know you've never been successful with physical attacks, right?”
“I just need to go, dadgum it!” another punch, but it's quickly dodged.
“And you think I'd just let you go just like that?” Augustus clenches his fist, red light illuminating from it. After only a few seconds a sword is present in his hand.
“Well crap, sometimes I forget you can do that.”
Before the Explorer could reach for his rope, Augustus already points the sword to his neck wich makes him freeze in place “We've been very curious as to what you're planning with the Pharaoh.”
The Explorer grins tauntingly “It ain't much y'know, maybe me an’ him just meet up for tea parties, you'll never know.” Augustus grows even more annoyed with him.
“Enough!” he keeps the sword pointed at his foe “Just tell me what you both are planning and I can turn you in without needing to fight.”
The other man scoffs though “You think it's THAT easy? Try being in my shoes for awhile Gus, then you'll know what it's like.”
They stay silent for a few moments before the Explorer speaks up “What? We're just gonna stand here and do nothing?” he asks, an eyebrow raised.
“You know it'll be easier for the both of us if you just give up.”
The villain suddenly fumes, before using his power to quickly sweep Augustus off of his feet and make him fall on his back.
The hero grunts, as the Explorer puts a foot to his chest to restrain him “This wouldn't had happened if you'd just let me go.”
After a few more moments of pained grunts, the Explorer quickly runs away from him, a faint trail of blue light being left by him.
Augustus gets up, he touches his face and feels a bruise “Wow, he actually left a mark. Pretty impressed.”

“Hey Octavius” the librarian hears a merry voice coming towards him. He couldn't help but smile when he sees Jedediah with one of the most brightest smiles ever.
“Greetings Jed” he responds.
As Jed gets closer, his face turns white “Where'd you get that?!” he couldn't help but exclaim.
‘Explorer is what had happened.’
Octavius limps his wrist “Oh it's nothing, I accidentally hit against something.”
Jedediah walks closer to him, as he suddenly cups the Italian's face, trying to examine the bruise closely “Dang, that looks like it hurts. Did you apply ice on it?” the brunette sighs “Of course I did Jedediah.”
The blonde puts his hands on his waist “If it hurts just tell me, I'll--”
“Jed, don't worry about it. Trust me, I'm fine.” Octavius smiles reassuringly, Jedediah stops before replying with “Alright then. But really, if it hurts just tell us.”
Octavius chuckles “Will do”
Hello! Sorry this chapter was a bit late, got sick, had to do school works, and yeah
A little info on their powers from what we've gathered:
Octavius can summon weapons as long as he puts a lot of energy into it, he also has super strength, and flying abilities
In Jedediah's case, he can jump really high, he also has super speed (and maybe even the ability to annoy Octavius to a whole other level)
