I flicked my finger at the screen, then crossed my arms behind my head. The system started recording. I watched as Bill and Corruption were viciously attacked by my aquatic mirror creatures. I may or may not have increased the security level for how difficult it is to get through. So now they couldn't use any high level dream magic to fight them and more creatures will attack them. And, there comes the kraken. I giggled as I watched Corruption try to get out of its swinging tentacles, while still being attacked by parana. Bill was being chased by a megalodon. With a single thought, I had it start leading Bill deeper into the dreamscape, though I made sure to send a few sharks to join in the chase. Have to make it seem like they were trying to stop him. And.... he got eaten. This is funnier than watching him on the Gravity Falls show.
I watched as Corruption continued to struggle, and Bill finally made it passed the ocean into my dreamscape. I watch as he fell onto the ground in a wet heap. He then layed on his back trying to catch his nonexistent breath. *GrOaN* "FuCk, CaTcHeR! YoU TrYiNg To KiLl Me!?!?" Bill exclaimed, done with life. He then got up and went to the pile of blankets and pillows to look for me.
After a moment of searching, he realized I was not there. He then looked around the area to see if I was hiding anywhere else. After a few minutes he realized I wasn't over there. He looked to the maze. "FuCk Me, You'Re In ThE MaZe ArEn'T YoU. GoOpy IsN't GoInG To LiKe ThIs AnD I DoN't WaNt To SeE WhAt KiNd Of DeFeNsEs YoU PuT In ThErE, If YoU OcEaN Is AnY InDiCaToR Of ThE KiNd Of DeFeNsEs YoU WoUlD MaKe. " Bill said to himself. Then Corruption fell onto the ground near him.
"Deities damn it! She increased the security level! When I get my hands on her she's going to regret messing with me!" Corruption stated angrily.
"We ShOuLd Be MoRe CoNcErNeD AbOuT OuRsElVeS. ShE's In ThE MaZe." Bill told him. Corruption groaned.
"Fantastic! We'll have to deal with an ever changing maze with all its traps and construct to guard it." Corruption said irritated.
"ShOuLdN't YoU KnOw HoW To GeT ThRoUgH?" Bill asked.
"I only know some of it. Dream was the one who did most of the work. Their ability to manipulate the dreamscape surpasses my own. Still anything they do to me here wouldn't have any permanent effects, since they're too soft to go so far." Corruption admitted begrudgingly. I smirked at the fact he was still underestimating me.
Bill seemed almost relieved. Oh, poor Bill. He's going to learn that while I wouldn't want to permanently hurt someone, the dreamscape is another thing altogether. There's other ways for me to stop someone besides killing them. I watched as the two dream beings started to head to the entrance of the maze. Corruption headed inside, while Bill hesitated for a moment before following. Once they are out of view of the entrance it closed. Looks like the game had begun.
I flicked my finger to the screen for an inside view of the maze. I watched as Corruption and Bill were wandering around. They made their way through a few of the easier traps I set up without issue. Though as they make their way deeper, they would get harder. Alright, it was time to crank things up. I released the first level of constructs. The bushes of the maze started to shiver near them. "WhAt ThE HeLl Is ThAt?" Bill asked nervously. Before Corruption could say anything they attacked.
Facehuggers flung themselves from the bushes at the two of them. Corruption materialized his tendrils to fight them off and Bill started swinging his cane. The Facehuggers just kept coming though. "HoW ThE HeLl ArE ThErE FaCeHuGgErS HeRe!?!? ThEy DoN't EvEn ExIsT In OuR ReAlItY!!!" Bill exclaimed as he began to run. Corruption quickly followed after him.
"How the hell should I know!!! She just said that they would be good as a basic protection!!! I've never seen them actually attack anyone!!!" Corruption screamed at Bill.
"ShE CoNsIdErEd ThEm BaSiC!!! ThEir EnTiRe RaCe Is CoNsIdErEd ThE GrEaTeSt EnEmY Of ThEiR UnIvErSe!!! NExT YoUr GoInG To TeLl Me ShE HaS XeNoMoRpH SoLdIeRs AnD A QuEeN!!!" Bill said, almost hysterical. Corruption stayed silent.
Bill pales at Corruption's silence. "FuCk, ShE DoEs, DoEsN't ShE! AnD, We CaN't UsE MaGiC To FiGhT ThEm! We ArE ScReWeD! WhY DiD I AgReE To HeLp YoU AgAiN?! ThIs Is GoNnA SuCk!!!" Bill said, still running. Corruption wasn't far behind him.
I then had the queen release the Xenomorphs. Within a few minutes Bill and Corruption were screaming. Ahh, the sweet sounds of karma. I giggled evilly. I may not have a problem with Bill, but he still needed to learn his lesson for helping to destabilize the multiverse. As for Corruption, I find it hilarious to see him screaming and running around like a little girl. It's so satisfying to see his evil dictator persona fall. At some point the two were separated. I made sure Corruption was still being chased around the maze, while Bill was being lead towards me.
With Bill out of the way, I had my constructs lead Corruption to a trap. At this point he getting tired. My Xenomorphs had been attacking him and ripping his tendrils off. Sure it healed, but it still weakened him. I may have also increase the positivity around the maze to wear him down. Corruption was attacked by vines coming from the walls of the maze. They wrapped around him and kept him bound. Then I felt a shift, while Corruption takes a look of horror. I laughed. He had just figured out he couldn't escape. Oh, he was going to be pissed when I finally let him go. But it was only fair after everything he had done. I'm sure it's been a long time, if he ever, since he was so vulnerable. I summoned a Fresh plushy to hold. This was going to get to get gross. I heard hurried steps as a facehugger attached itself to Corruption's face. "WhAt ThE FuCk!?!?" I heard Bill exclaim. I spun around in my chair.
"Hello Bill. Welcome to my evil lair. I hope you enjoyed the traps. I tried to have them go easier on you without making it too obvious for Corruption." I said to him. I crossed my legs and started petting my plushy.
Bill dead pans at me. "YoU ReAlLy GoInG FoR ThE EvIl MaStErMiNd AcT?" He said. I laugh.
"Couldn't resist. We are in the deepest depths of my dreamscape, so it's understandable that I would act on some of my unconscious thought and emotions. I may not ever hurt people consciously, but that doesn't mean I'm incapable of coming up with darker scenarios in my mind. You have to remember I've been corrupted as well. Even before I was, I had a darker side thanks to the torture I experienced in my time in Dreamtale. Here I just feel safer to act on them, since I won't actually kill you two." I explained. I hear Corruption muffled screams from the screen.
"YoU Do FeEl DiFfErEnT HeRe ThEn OuTsIdE ThE MaZe. DaRkEr." Bill told me. I turn my chair back around to the screen.
"While I'm still aware of my actions and will remember everything when I wake up, I'm not as kind and merciful as when I'm awake. The mind is a strange and complex things. Still I can easily justify my actions here thanks to the fact that despite having originally been a positivity spirit, I've always been neutral in nature. It's my own morals, my KINDNESS, sense of JUSTICE, PATIENCE for others, and sheer DETERMINATION that prevented me from becoming like Corruption or getting revenge against those who have crossed me and mine in my life. Anything less and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Not even the purest of souls can be left completely untouched after suffering from the cruelty of the world." I told him. Bill walked over to stand next to me.
"EvErYoNe HaS AlWaYs UnDeReStImAtEd YoU HaVeN't ThEy?" Bill asked me. I shrugged my shoulders.
"No one, not even myself, know exactly what I'm capable of now when pushed far enough. I've broken once, I won't let it happen again. I REFUSE to lose myself. I finally have something worth living for again, and I don't plan on letting it go. Have you ever had something that you cared enough about that would do anything for?" I asked looking at the immortal dream. demon. Bill looked deep in thought.
"I DiD A LoNg, LoNg TiMe AgO. BuT, I'vE DeStRoYeD Or RuInEd AnYtHiNg I'vE EvEr HaVe." Bill said absent-mindedly. I didn't think he realized he said it outloud.
Most of the construct seemed to be backing away from Corruption. One of the Xenomorphs picks him up and starts heading back outside the maze. I stand up and grab Bill's hand. I felt a something in my soul. We both flinch back. I let go. "Sorry, I don't know what that was. I was just going to lead you back out since I've taken care of what I wanted to." I told Bill. He stared at me with wide eyelights.
He seemed to be completely frozen in shock. I snap my fingers in front of his face. "Multiverse to Bill Cipher, you good there?" I asked him. That seemed to snap him out of it.
"Ya, JuSt NoTiCeD SoMeThInG I DiDN't BeFoRe AnD GoT LoSt In ThOuGhT. It'S NoT ReAlLy ImPoRtAnT." He told me. While I knew he wasn't telling the truth, I decided to let it go.
"Whatever, just come on. Outsiders can only exit the dreamscape from outside the maze when the protections are active." I told him. I start heading out.
"So ThAt'S WhY I CoUlDn'T LeAvE." Bill said following me. We made our way through the maze to the entrance.
We met the Xenomorph construct in the clearing out front. It drop Corruption to the ground with a thud. He was out cold and worse for wear. "WhAt ExAcTlY DiD YoU Do To HiM?"
"That's for me to know, and him to figure out. Alright I'm gonna send you two away. I wanna get up now. Take care Bill." I said. Bill gave me a wave.
I sent them out of my dreamscape. Well, can't stay here forever. Its time to face reality, literally. I close my eyesockets and wake up.
