Kuro's body was lying on the ground, Head tilted back with his chin bloody from the punch, Glares were sent his way from the three Straw Hats while the Black Cat Pirates stared in shock at their Captain, Their jaws glued to the ground.
"What was that?!"
"What did he do?!"
"It looked like his arm stretched!"
"Get real!"
"He sent Captain Kuro flying!"
Tilting his head a bit to look down the slope at Luffy Kuro glared at him, While the Straw Hat cracked his knuckles with a similar glare
"The Usopp Pirates have arrived!"
"The Usopp Pirates have arrived!"
"The Usopp Pirates have arrived!"
Shouted three voices as little kids appeared from the forest, Each one of them held a weapon in hand, A shovel, A frying pan, And a bat... Quite the variety.
Simulantliy the three hit their weapons against Kuro's face, Hitting him quite hard.
"You guys!" Usopp's face turned into a shocked one as he looked at the three boys
"Stay away!" Screamed Kaya, Eyes going wide from their arrival.
Piiman glared down at Kuro before smashing his bat against the man's face "Say your prayers," He swung again and again "Buttler! It's punishment time!" The other two kids followed suit and were also taking out their anger on the Captain "Lousy Pirate! Disturbing this village's peace!"
"S-Stop!" Usopp tried to call out to them but they were too consumed in their anger
"Darn you!"
"Take this!"
"You brats!" One of the Pirates shouted, Shocking himself as fear ran through his veins "What are you doing?!"
"What are those runts doing?!" Zoro sweat dropped, His glare completely disappearing.
"They'll get themselves killed..." Muttered (Y/n) with her eyes opened wide and a hand over her mouth
From the bottom of the slope, Luffy's glare didn't flatter like (Y/n)'s and Zoro's rather his anger grew
"Stop that, You guys..." Usopp's whole body was shaking, Blood dripping down his forehead and onto his clothes staining them "...STOP"
The Usopp Pirates were looking down at their victim, Hearts beating fast and sweat rolling down their foreheads as they tried to catch their breath
"Alright!" Piiman was once again the one to speak "We'll let you off with just that!"
"Now Captain Kuro is really mad..." Jango uttered under his breath, His eyes not daring to move away from the scene "...Those stupid brats!"
"Captain!" The three little kids shouted, Running toward their so-called Captain
"I knew it! You were fighting, Captain!" Ninjin said, His voice sounding betrayed.
"Why didn't you tell us?!" Piiman questioned also sounding betrayed "That's unbare!"
"No! You mean unfair!" Correct him Tamanegi
"Who cares about that?!" The long nose looked at them shocked "You guys just gotta get out of here! RUN" He screamed at them but that didn't seem to affect the three
"No!" Ninjin voiced while glaring from under his bangs
"We're gonna fight too!" Piiman said with a determined look
"The Usopp Pirates will be ashamed if we run!" Tamanegi shouted back
Cold air blew behind the three making them shiver, It's like they could feel Kuro's presence behind them, Tamanegi slowly looked behind his shoulder, Over them towered the Black Cat Pirate his glare turned to the side
Slowly he lifted his hand, fixing his glasses only for the glass to shatter into small pieces to which he narrowed his eyes
"AAHAHAHAHAH" The three fell back while screaming like little girls as their bodies trembled with fear
"YOU IDIOTS" Usopp screamed with them "Get out of here, NOW" Their eyes were white from shock but Kuro just simply walked past them and toward Usopp without giving him a single glance-
"Ugh" Gripping his stomach where he was hit by Kuro Usopp closed his eyes in pain as he rolled down the hill making dust circle him
"CAPTAIN" Shouted his loyal followers
"That hurt a bit..." Muttered Kuro, His eyes overlooking the slope like his kingdom "That's quite a strange technique you have there-" Although he was hit so many times on the face it didn't seem to affect Kuro at all... Maybe only a scratch or two appeared "-I take it you have Devil Fruit powers?"
Smirking from underneath his Straw Hat Luffy looked up "Yep! I ate the Gum-Gum Fruit!" The Pirates turned to him, Eyes open wide, Tears in the corner of their eyes, and jaws slowly dropping to the ground "I'm a rubber person!"
"What?! A Devil Fruit?!"
"He's dangerous!"
"They really do exist?!"
"I thought he seemed strange!"
"I see" Jango's sweat rolled down his body, Making his skin glisten under the light "A rubber person, So I didn't hallucinate his arm-stretching..." He said in thought
"Jango!"
"Y-Yeah?" Jango turned to look at his Captain
"I'll handle the boy" Glaring down at Luffy, Kuro continued "You take care of Miss Kaya," He said while showing off his claws "As planned, Have her write her will... And then kill her!" Kaya's eyes widened as she looked at her fake butler "And those three little ants... They're an eyesore"
"I'm on it" Assured the Hypnotist
The man then started making his way up the slope before his path was blocked by a sword "Stop" Zoro glared his way "I can't let you pass"
Standing beside the tip of the Swordsman's sword (Y/n) looked down at Jango with a frown "No use, Stop now" She warned while taking out her naginata and digging it into the ground
"Butchie!" Gritting his teeth the hypnotist called for his men "Siam!"
"Cat..." Looking behind Jango (Y/n) saw Butchie, He was radiating energy with wrath to supply it "...ASTROPHE" He screamed before launching into the air, Recognizing the ground-shattering attack the (H/c) haired girl quickly moved away from the scene.
"Not again!" Groaned the Swordsman "And where are you going?!" He yelled at (Y/n) who smiled at him
"Away from him" She pointed at Butchie who landed an inch away from Zoro, The ground was split into many different directions making (Y/n) yelp when she almost fell
"Neko Baba" During the whole commotion (Y/n)'s hand felt strangely light making her look at her palm only to realize it was empty of any weapon
"This is getting old..." She muttered with a glare while turning to Siam, The green-haired Pirate was not moving, Her weapon in his hand. Looking closely she noticed the radiating energy, His white eyes, and gritted teeth...
"AAAHH" He yelled, He was completely out of his mind "Solo Neko-Yanagi Daikoshin!" He screamed making (Y/n)'s eyes widen as he ran at her, Claws slashing toward her rapidly.
Quickly dodging each one of them the only thing (Y/n) could do is move back slowly while trying not to get caught, If only the cat hadn't taken her weapon she'd been fine
'I have to get my weapon back...' Siam's claw was in between the girl's eyes as she fell backward into a backflip '...And quickly' Hitting his claws with the tip of her foot during the flip made them break away from the hand and fly to the side
"AGH" Cried Siam in pain while turning his back to (Y/n) making the (H/c) cringe from his suffering
'Well, They were just nails...' She thought before her eyes widened 'This is my chance!' Running at the Pirate she boosted herself with a kick from the ground while her hand reached out towards her Naginata on his back
"Nekoze!" Bending his body in an unnatural way Siam moved his upper torso aside to which (Y/n) just flew past him leaving her to roll on the ground
"Tch"
'Dammit, I'm out of strength' Cursed Usopp, He helplessly laid on the ground unable to do something 'Dammit... Dammit. DAMMIT!'
"USOPP PIRATES" He screamed all of a sudden making everyone stop and look at him
"Y-Yes?!" The three managed to shout back, Tears threatening to spill from their eyes
"Listen to me..." His voice was rough because of the ache as he tried to keep speaking
"We're not gonna run!" Ninjin said
"Not after they did this thing to you!" Piiman cried out
"We're going to avenge you!" Tamanegi added
With his head lying on the ground he looked off into the distance "Protect Kaya..." Their eyes widened as they looked at their Captain "Listen closely! I'm giving you... I'm giving you the most important task there is right now!" Everyone was listing closely even the Black Cat Pirates
"Take Kaya and get away from here!" He then looked each one of them in the eyes "Don't tell me you can't! That was the reason we formed our Pirate group: To become men who protect what's important to them!"
Closing their eyes tears pleaded to spill but the boys kept them at bay while looking and listening closely to their beloved Captain
Usopp's own tears wanted to stream down his face as he spoke sadly "That's... A direct order..." He whispered
"YES, CAPTAIN!"
"YES, CAPTAIN!"
"YES, CAPTAIN!"
"Hurry Kaya!"
"This way!"
"This way! This way!"
"He sure knows how to fire them up..." Smiled (Y/n) before standing up and dusting off her hands "But it is... The most important task there is right now"
"How pointless" Laughed Kuro, Kaya had long disappeared into the forest with Jango following suit behind "I know very well just how weak Kaya is..." He glared down at Usopp "She'll never escape Jango, And if you want to help her... Go right ahead" Slowly making his way up Luffy's eyes were blocked by the Straw Hat "If you can get past this hill alive, That is"
"Let's get this over with" Looking up the hill at Siam (Y/n) narrowed her eyes at her target "Siam..."
Jumping straight at her the cat was moving his claws left and right, Anger boiling up inside him and more eager to kill her to avenge one of the so-called claws
Slowly making her way down while dodging the cat (Y/n) was moving from side to side before almost slipping over her own two feet
"Augh" Taking the moment to his advantage Siam sliced the (H/c)'s chest, His claws digging through her skin and ripping her shirt as her screams were muffled by her bitten lip
Also taking the moment to her advantage (Y/n) grabbed his wrist, And then the other one. Smirking at his angry-looking face she started pushing him back while the male tried to get out of her grasp
"I'm not one to stretch things so..." Gripping his wrists harder she then crouched down and slipped in between his legs resulting in him falling forward "...Let's finish this" Pushing her foot against his back she stepped on him harshly while taking away her weapon
"Uagh" Trying to get out of his grasp he managed to slip away
Almost losing her balance (Y/n) looked at Siam who glared at her before continuing swinging at her, Running back the girl turned her back to him before jumping into the air and turning back to him with a smirk
"Air..." Pulling her naginata above her head like a sword she was flying above him "...FORCE" A powerful air slash soared through the air like lightning and slashed through Siam's torso "And that's..." Landing on the ground with a thud while crouching she smirked down at the unconscious body "...How you do it"
Standing in the middle of the slope was Luffy while glaring upwards, With her back to Kuro (Y/n) stood next to him on his left while Zoro sheathed his swords and looked up at Kuro from Luffy's right.
"What a helpless evil guy" The Swordsman muttered making the ex-Marine turn to look up at the Black Cats Captain.
"I don't plan to help him through," Luffy said, Teeth gritted "USOPP" He screamed to the long nose making him look down at the Straw Hat "Go to them!" Smirking with a glare he continued "We'll take over here!"
"Leave it to us," Zoro said, One hand leaning against his sword handle
"It'll be like a piece of cake" Assured (Y/n) with a closed-eye smile, Her naginata resting on her shoulders and her wrists hanging on each end
Trying to sit up, Usopp's whole body trembled with pain, His muscles aching from pain, Sweat rolling down his forehead, and hands rough from the dirt. He was gritting his teeth while sitting up on his knee while the other leg was shaking furiously before he finally stood up with a muffled scream
"Oh?" Kuro raised his eyebrow "You can still move? How impressive."
"Shut up..." Muttered the male, He was leaning on his knees with his shoulder shaking up and down "I refuse to let you... Have your way!" His back was turned to the Pirate "You went and betrayed the villagers and Kaya's feelings..." His eyes were bloodshot red from anger "I refuse to let you have your way anymore!"
Moving his leg forward he was ready to go up the slope but instead, he collapsed with a thud
"Usopp!" Luffy called his eyes widening
"D-D-Dammit..." Tears threatened to spill "...I c-can't move" He whispered to himself
From the top of the slope, chuckles were heard making (Y/n) look up only to see Kuro giggling to himself before those giggles turned into a full-on laugh
"You really are a riot" He laughed "I betrayed them, You say?! Cut the crap. It was all a part of the plan" His laughing stopped and he looked pissed off with his gritted teeth "A kiddie Pirate Captian like you has no place to talk all knowingly!" Luffy was biting his bottom lip from anger as he stared at Kuro "Just stay on the ground there."
Kuro's eyes ran over Usopp's body, His whole back was covered in small cuts that bleed heavily "Though even if you did catch up with Jango, You'd be no match for him anyway" Clenching her fists the (H/c) couldn't look away "This way is probably safest for you" He laughed
"Even if I'm no match..." Usopp's body didn't move, He was completely paralyzed "Even if I am no match for him..." Kuro looked down at him confused "I will protect them!" Water fielded his vision as he tried to hold back tears "I'm Captain of the Usopp Pirates... And a brave warrior of the sea!" His voice got louder and louder "I won't let you lay a finger on MY VILLAGE"
He cried out, His voice echoing and making the ground shake, It's like a bolt of electricity went through (Y/n)'s heart making it run a mile, Her eyes were looking up and she gritted her teeth
"What's with him?"
"He's yelling something!"
"Check it out! He's crying!"
(Y/n)'s blood ran cold when she heard the Pirates laugh, Before she could turn around and give them a piece of her mind a loud crash was heard, When she turned around she saw Luffy standing on a bolder, His eyes angrier than hers as he glared down at them
"WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!" He glared at them
"Zoro" (Y/n) turned to look at her crewmate who raised his eyebrow at her "Take Usopp and chance after Jango" Her glare didn't flatter as she looked at Kuro "I'll stay here and make sure Luffy doesn't die..."
"Right" He nodded before walking past her toward the top of the hill "Don't be an idiot" He reminded before picking up Usopp and throwing him over his shoulder "Luffy!" He called to their Captain who turned around his glare still present "Me and Usopp are gonna chance after that Hypno-freak, That a problem?" He asked before looking over his shoulder
"Nope! Hurry" He said before turning back to the Pirates
"T-Thanks..." Whispered Usopp as he looked up at the Swordsman
"Thank (Y/n) not me" To this (Y/n) smiled at them as they continued going up the hill "I'd be quicker by myself, But they're inside the woods I'm gonna need your direction to catch up
Just as the two were about to pass Kuro spoke up "Hold it you two." Stopping for a mere moment Zoro didn't meet his eyes "Who gave you permission to pass this hill?"
Felling a tug on her collar (Y/n) didn't react, Looking up her (E/c) eyes noticed a hand moving toward Kuro at lightning speed
"I did" Almost punching the Captian in the face Zoro used this moment to run into the forest "Go! Zoro! Usopp!" He instructed, Luffy's other hand threw (Y/n) back by the collar "(Y/n)! Switch!" He called leaving the ex-Marine to fly through the air
"And another!" Shouted Luffy as he flew towards Kuro where his fist almost scratched his face. Missing Kuro only by a second Luffy almost crashed to the ground "Hm" Falling forward he convincingly dodged Kuro's claws
The Pirate's eye twitched as he looked at the youngster who stood on his hands, Legxs connected together by the bottom of his feet as a smirk appeared on his face
"Gum-Gum... SPEAR!" He screamed before shooting both of his legs at Kuro like a spear but he in return just disappeared
"Did he really think he'd wait for his attack..?" (Y/n) raised her eyebrow, She was currently soaring through the air her back to the ground as she was facing the top of the hill
The air flew through her hair, Her lips were parted a bit, She looked down at the ground only to notice the Black Cat Pirates wanting to pass the boulder "I feel like I need to babysit" She groaned before coming crashing to the ground with a boom
Dust picked up which blocked the (H/c) for a few moments, She was crouching on the boulder, which was cracked beneath her feet. Back turned to the Pirates she rested her weapon on her shoulder while letting out a sigh
"Look it's just one girl"
"Let's take her on! And then help Captian Kuro!"
"Maybe he won't kill us then?"
"Let's avenge the Meowban Brothers!"
At the screaming of the Pirates (Y/n) slowly stood up just as the dust started to settle down, Looking over her shoulder at them all of them shirked in fear when they noticed her glare
"You'll be good boys..." She gave them a closed-eye smile, Her eye twitching, The blade of her naginata shining brightly as they could imagine just how sharp it is "...And not give me any trouble-" Opening her eyes she glared at them "-Right?"
"YES MA'AM"
"Before fighting, I have one thing to ask," Kuro said, The two were looking at each other, A safe distance between them as they stood on the soft grass "Why is an outsider like you butting into this village's business?"
Giving a smile Luffy answered him calmly "Because there is a man in this village I don't wanna let die!"
"How simple" Chuckled the black-haired man "Are you okay with that being the way you die?"
"Yep!" Placing both of his hands on his hips the Straw Hat smirked "I'm not gonna die though!"
"I'll make sure you do!" Kuro warned before standing in a fighting stance
Stretching his arms, Luffy grabbed onto Kuro's shoulder and flew at him with great speed ready to dig his feet into his chest
Tilting his shoulder to the side Kuro sent Luffy crashing to the ground with a thud leaving the Straw Hat's cheek covered in dirt
"Gum-Gum..." Placing his palm on the ground Luffy crouched down before moving his leg back "...WHIP" Swinging his leg at Kuro it was parallel to the ground making the Pirate jump into the air "And..." Retrieving his leg and getting his arm ready Luffy screamed "...PISTOL" The fist was so close to Kuro's top of the head but the male was quick enough to jump upwards
"You're making me yawn!" He said, Arms crossed, And with both of his legs he stood on Luffy's out-stretched arm
"Why, You..." Luffy couldn't do anything when Kuro ran along his hand before kicking him hard in the same cheek
Luffy stumbled down the hill before landing in the middle of Kuro and (Y/n), Who was sitting calmly on the boulder.
"Damn, He cut my mouth" Muttered the Straw Hat while standing up, And in his face, his cheek was bleeding a bit
"The Straw Hat guy's insanely strong... And yet..."
"T-That's Captain Kuro for you!"
"Get him!"
"Hurray for Captain Kuro!"
"Captain Kuro!"
"You're awesome, Captain Kuro!"
"Don't call me that name" Kuro said to them with a low voice, His right hand fixing his glasses that no longer served their purpose "You still don't get it?!" He screamed at them making (Y/n) slowly open her eyes and look up at him "The plan is so I. can be completely rid of the name 'Captian Kuro'!" Luffy looked up at him confused "I'm tired of this, Devising plans for you every day for you men who only care about mayhem... Being relentlessly attacked by government dogs and bounty hunters..."
His eyes glared down at his crew "I was absolutely sick of it all!" He spat at them
'So I was right...' (Y/n) lowered her head with a smirk
The fourteen-year-old girl was standing underneath the burning sun, Her hair collected together, Her hands held together behind her back and a Marine jacket on her shoulders made her neck itch from its collar driving her to try and wiggle out of it.
"Quit moving" Cursed Shepherd as he glared at the (H/c) haired child who didn't move her eyes away from the scene "You should feel lucky..." He said making (Y/n) turn to look at him "...It's not every day you get to see someone being executed, especially not someone as strong as him-" His eyes narrowed at the tied-up figure "-Captain Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates..."
"I certainly don't feel lucky..." She muttered under her breath, Her (E/c) eyes moved to the side to see the Marine who caught him
"I still don't get it" The inspector ignored (Y/n) "How'd that rookie manage to catch such a notorious Pirate..."
"Beginner's Luck?" The (H/c) thought out loud, Her big eyes stared at the blonde-haired Marine whose jaw was completely shattered but he still made it to the execution "Morgan was his name?"
"Tch" The girl looked at the older man confused "Now it's, Axe-Hand Morgan," He said while rolling his eyes "He got lucky, That Pirate could've taken not only his hand and jaw..." For some reason, the inspector didn't like Marine making (Y/n) confused "...But also his life"
"Let's hope this one victory won't get to his head" The young Marine mumbled while closing her eyes and looking at the ground
"And when my plan today succeeds my goal would be fully achieved... " Kuro spoke up making (Y/n) return to the current reality "Money and peace of mind will be mine" He glared down at Luffy "Do you understand, Boy?" The Straw Hat's eyes were looking through Kuro's soul "I cannot allow this plan of three years to fail!" Raising his chin he smirked "My plan will not be disturbed!"
"(Y/N)" Luffy screamed making the girl confused but when two hands stretched back and gripped the sides of the boulder she quickly understood while quickly jumping up and off it
Kuro was running at Luffy like a maniac, Using all of his strength the Straw Hat pulled the boulder above his head and in front of him just as Kuro's claws tried to pierce him making them dig deep into the stone
"Seems you can do more than just stretch" Muttered Kuro with a glare as a vein popped on his forehead and his eye twitched
"That's right" Landing on the ground right where the boulder was (Y/n) smiled at the scene "I've toughened myself up, To be a Pirate!" The Straw Hat smirked
Breaking the boulder into a smaller one that still held Kuro's claws Luffy roughly moved it to the side making them shatter "You're 'Tired'? You're not fit to be a Pirate if having a name in the sea-" He then took the opportunity of the stunned Kuro to hit him in the head with the same stone "-SCARES YOU"
"My ambition is much GREATER THAN YOURS" He screamed, The cut-off parts of the claws were shining brightly inside the boulder
"T-That guy..."
"He broke Captian Kuro's 'Cat Claw'!"
Looking down Luffy smirked, His eyes covered by a shadow and his raven locks moving with. the wind "Now that leaves only five of those weird swords" He said before dropping the big rock to the ground and grinning at Kuro who laid on the gravel with his head down
"It's okay, He can still fight plenty!"
"Yeah! He still has the other claw!"
"Scratch him up!"
"Kill him, Captain Kuro!"
"Hey" One of the Pirates called making (Y/n) turn around to look at the commotion "That name is taboo now" He muttered to his other crewmates
"I think his name in the village is Klaha... Or something," The other one said in thought
"His name in the village was..." The Pirates turned to (Y/n) who gave them a kind smile "...Big bro Kla" There was a silence, The Pirates looked at the (H/c) who looked at them with a smile before all of them erupted into cheers
"Big bro Kla! Get him!"
"Go, big bro!"
"Get him Kla!"
The ex-Marine turned away from them with a hidden smirk as she tried not to giggle to herself
Looking down at the ground with a glare 'Big bro Kla' was slowly getting up "Be quiet, YOU" He shouted making all of the Black Cat Pirates shut their mouths "I'll come to exterminate every one of you later..." He stood up while looking at his five claws, Blood ran down the side of his face "Jango too, Of course..."
"W-Why us?!"
"Please stop joking around, Captain Kuro!"
"It's still not late for us to attack the village, Right?"
"If Captian Jango gets her to write her will the plan should work!"
Fixing his glasses the sun reflected off his blades "You need not worry about the plan" He assured them "Your corpses will be enough for me to put the blame on you..." Fear ran through his crew's bodies as they stared at their previous Captain in disbelief "I never intended to let you leave this village from the start..."
"You can't be serious..."
"Then you planned to kill us from the start..?"
Kuro just chuckled at them "That's right" His eyes looked at them with blood lust "Since that day three years ago, When I was still known as Captain Kuro... It was all... All part of my plan!"
"Man" Luffy placed his hands on his hips while looking down at the Pirates who stood behind (Y/n) "You guys are dumb" He mumbled before turning to look up at Kuro "You're such an uncool Pirate group"
"Uncool?" Kuro raised his eyebrow while fixing his glasses "Pirate groups are nothing more than a collection of social outcasts" Luffy was looking at him, No thought in those round eyes "Without plans, What can they possibly do? Everyone should just shut up and follow my plans!"
Kuro then turned to look down at his crew "Crew members are loyal pawns of the Captain! Whether my men live or die is all up to my orders as their leader! No matter how powerful the obstacle-"
All of the Black Cat Pirates were glaring at their 'Captain' as he spoke "-They simply need to stand up to it and die for my plans..." He finished before turning to Luffy whose face didn't change "This is how Pirates are!" He screamed at the Straw Hat "Don't you talk down on me! Travel boy!" He shouted through gritted teeth
"No matter how many..." Luffy looked calmly at Kuro "...Hundreds or thousands of men follow you" The Captian looked at him confused "As their Captain, You'll never be better than Usopp!" He smiled at him
"What?!" Kuro growled at him "You're saying I'm inferior to a kid pretending to be a Pirate Captain?" He looked at him, Almost thinking he was joking but Luffy's serious expression made him grit his teeth
"That's right"
"Hahaha" Kuro laughed "You're hilarious!" He smirked at him "Don't get cocky just because you snapped half of my claws" His eyes then turned into a glare "How exactly is he better than me?! Let's hear it!"
The soft footsteps started again as Captain Kuro was moving around appearing and disappearing from everyone's vision
"Character" Luffy smirked
Appearing behind the teen Kuro's eyes widened "WHAT?!" He roared, Claws ready to slice Luffy up into pieces
"You..." Lowering his head with a shadow over his eyes Luffy stretched his hand forward before stepping his foot on the ground "...Don't know what a true Pirate is!" He shouted while his hand slicing through the air as it neared Kuro who got slapped with it by the back and sent flying towards the side of the hill.
A huge explosion was heard as Kuro disappeared into the smoke. Luffy's hand returned to its length making the boy backflip from the force
"H-He..."
