"Atticus... i will not feed you like I'm your mother!" Nora whined, sitting on one of the hospital beds as Betty fixes his pillow. Quidditch practise went side ways when both Evan and Atticus clashed into each other while it was raining, both having mild concussions that could last over a month.

"Please? Mother used to do the choo-choo train one." Atticus whined, having his eyes closed as the lights were turned off. Beside his bed, Evan was taking a nap as regulus sat on the edge of his bed and made sure he was doing okay, putting his favourite candies on the tables.

"The fuck is that?" Betty asked in a concerning tone; looking at the siblings who would obviously not know. "Our mother doesn't even acknowledge that we're breathing." Said regulus, getting a look from his older sister. Atticus tried to not laugh, snorting a little as Betty slapped his arm.

Grabbing another piece of the toast, Nora pretended she was going to feed it to Atticus, making it go into Betty's direction instead; not having the poor concussed boy realize. Atticus finally opened his eyes when he heard the fork hit Betty's teeth, gasping loudly.

Eating the strawberries, Nora actually fed the boy before he dismissed them and let them go to their classes. "Have fun with Evan." Regulus said before he handed Nora their bags before leaving.

"Are you sure he's breathing?" Atticus yelled as Nora blew him a kiss goodbye and shutting the doors on him.

Waving Betty a goodbye as she had Transfiguration with the Ravenclaws, Nora could tell something was on regulus' mind, nudging him. "Deep thinker, what's on your mind?" She delicately asked, seeing what was wrong. "It's just Barty, he's been acting strange."

Nora did wonder what ever happened with the situation of his mother wanting him to be death eater while his father works against them; having a literal snitch in their family. "Does he uh.. have it?" Nora whispered, quickly getting a defensive No from Regulus.

"He doesn't have it."

"Have you seen his arms?"

"What friend just stares at their friends arm?" Regulus asks in a smart-ass tone. "I look at Betty's all the time." Nora said back to him, rolling her eyes. "You know what I mean, if there's no physical evidence, then he should be okay Reggie." Nora reassured, rubbing his back as they saw Sirius, James and Peter Pettigrew come towards them.

"What the hell are you two doing in the hospital wing?" Sirius gasped as he tried to figure out what was wrong with them.

Nora saw the way James smiled brightly once he got closer to him and proceeded to stand near her whole Pettigrew was getting an awful stare from the younger Black.

"We're fine, we were checking up on Evan and Atticus. They might be out for the game." Nora said to her twin, telling him they were fine regardless. Regulus rolled his eyes when he saw the boys try to not smirk when they have two players down.

Nora hesitated to speak again when regulus and Sirius were closer to each other, it made her have her wand out of her boot just in case either of them made a move. "Don't act you care about us." Regulus spat, shaking his head and looking at Nora.

James too, had the same reaction. It wasn't like either of them were going to harm the other. "You have a lot of nerve to say that Reggie."

"It's Regulus for you." Regulus gritted, putting his hand into a first. "Alright, enough of this." Nora said. Finally having enough, Nora grabbed Regulus, shaking her head at Sirius who wanted to fight her brother in the first place. "See you around Reggie."

Nora felt the way Regulus tensed up, it looked like he was going to break down any minute. Brushing Nora's hands off his shoulders, regulus walked away and told her to not follow him. As an older sister she wasn't going to, but as his best friend, she wanted to run and make him feel comforted in the arms of someone he loves.

Sighing and heading to transfiguration alone, Nora sat in the corner like usual, saying hello to her old imaginary friend while she witnessed Snape deciding where to go. Quickly grabbing her bag and putting it on the chair, Severus rolled his eyes, looking at Nora with sad eyes.

"Keep walking greaseball." Nora waved a goodbye, shaking her head. Severus groaned, grabbing her bag and putting onto the floor. "That is a violation of my space!" Nora gritted; grabbing them from him.

"You're a bitch."

"You're one to talk." Nora scoffed, calling him an idiot and hearing him mumble things.

"Mr.Snape and Miss.Black, i would appreciate it if you two didn't say such vulgar things to one another in my classroom." Jumping up from their seats and turning around, Nora awkwardly smiled when she saw her transfiguration professor right behind them.

"Oh uh, sorry professor." Nora mumbled, looking at Snape who wasn't going to apologize until Nora hit his leg with her leg. "Right... sorry?" It almost looked like Severus was going to barf as he said sorry, looking at Nora, giving him a thumbs up.

McGonagall sighed as she looked at the two and knew they were going to cause trouble, turning to see James, Sirius and Pettigrew come through the doors with their bags. "Mr. Snape I'm moving you." McGonagall declared, yelling out James' name to come over to them.

"Professor please— I rather have the greaseball than—"

"Mr. Potter, you'll be sitting with Miss. Black today. We'll be doing the package today anyways and you need to focus with your studies." McGonagall smiled, looking at Nora and Severus.

"This is your fault." Nora said to Snape, trying to hear what James was saying. Receiving the middle finger as Snape got up, Nora moved her seat a little as James put his book bag down and sighed.

"Did something happen between regulus and Sirius again?" James asked in a serious tone, leaning a little towards Nora with a concerned look.

Nora shrugged her shoulders, they were always going to be fighting no matter who Sirius was with, but Nora wondered if Regulus wanted to pick a fight because James was there with him.

"Don't worry about those two, they'll never be at peace with one another." Nora said, opening her package booklet to do for the rest of the class. James decided to drop the conversation, mumbling a part of the lesson as he tried to not look at his notes and see if he could complete those two questions.

For James, it was impossible, but for Nora, she was dying to say the answer for the poor lad, knowing she had to let him figure it out on his own, pressing her lips together.

Nora thought she was sleeping for a second, noticing how the classroom was so quiet while McGonagall was at her desk marking things and answering questions from students.

"Is McGonagall married?" Nora asks James, turning to look at him as he gave up on the package. "I'm assuming." James mumbled a little bit, not actually knowing that answer. "Has she never told you?" Nora asked him, looking back at the professor and trying to figure it out.

"No, she hasn't." James mumbled. Nora didn't read too much into it as she began to do her package once again, seeing James still stare at their professor. "Potter, stop, it looks like you're obsessed with her." Nora warned; hitting his shoulder and making him snap out of it.

James mumbled something as he rubbed his arm, not realizing Nora had such a stop hit. "Have you ever considered karate?" James asks her, grabbing his quill and pretending to write. Nora had her face screw up, confused as to what that word even was.

"I'm not trying to make my parents have a heart attack, Potter." Nora rolled her eyes, not wanting to talk anymore and just do her assignment. Unfortunately when you're sitting beside James Potter, you won't get a lot of work done.

"Do you think people think we're back together?" He whispered, leaning towards Nora to hear him. Nora shrugged her shoulders, looking up and seeing people look back at the two every now and then.

"Definitely."

Shifting in her seat and squinting her eyes at the ones who looked back, it was all girls who seemed jealous of Nora. Not only that, but Lily Evans was also looking at them, almost a sad look in her face. "Your wife is looking at you." Nora teased, making James confused.

"Who?"

"Lily? Evans?" Nora asked, getting a oh face from James as he looks down. "Evans just looked at you and you have no reaction. Wow." Nora said shockingly, surprised to see this new James Potter.

Seeing him become a bit sad, Nora backed off a little, clearing her throat as James stopped talking and began his work again. Nora wouldn't have said anything, except for the fact he was struggling on another question.

As the class soon came to a wrap, Nora grabbed her things and tried to leave faster than ever, saying goodbye to James; even though they had potions next.

"Can't believe you almost didn't wait for me." Sirius sighs, walking with his sister. Nora sighed, wishing Sirius would het the hint of leaving her alone— but he didn't.

"Oh no, what a shame." Nora mocked, trying to beat the traffic of the corridors as many kids were pushing their way through and trying to get to their next class.

"Have you gotten the talk of what you want to be when you're older?" Sirius asks his sister, adjusting his strap while walking. Nora shook her head, shrugging her shoulders. "All I care about is if still alive at 20." Nora scoffed, referring to their manic relationship with their parents.

Sirius laughed a little as he agreed. Nora could tell it was a fake laugh, not totally loving her dark humour about their horrible relationships. Nora smiled as she tried to not pant so hard on the stairs, going down the steps as Sirius barely broke a sweat.

"Did you know in muggle schools they exercise and make you run?" Sirius asked her, as if his Pureblood sister would know that fact. "That's so sad." Nora sighed, swallowing her pain, getting pulled by a hand on her waist and yelping.

"What the hell—"

Stumbling into an old classroom that didn't have any purpose anymore, Nora grabbed her wand as she saw Nott and Avery doing the same with Betty and Snape not too far away from there, looking at the time and sighing.

"Drop it, Black." Avery warned, having his arm shake a little. Nora hesitated, looking at Betty who nodded that everything will be okay. Dropping her wand and kicking it not too far, Nora saw the way the two boys grinned at each other.

Not liking the way her stomach churned, Nora wondered what these two sixth years wanted anyways, creating tension in the room. "Go sit by Snape." Avery ordered, pointing to the desks. Nora scoffed, clearly not wanting to listen to them.

"Why the hell should I? What are you two scheming?" Nora hissed, knowing they charmed the door knob to make someone's hand burned if they touched it. Avery had a devil smile creeping up on him, calling over Betty and Snape.

"We aren't doing anything," Nott began, winking at Nora and Betty. "We are simply delivering a message." Avery stated, circling the three fifth years, clapping with his ruler.

Nora felt her arm hairs stand up when Avery walked behind her, wondering what he was going to deliver.

"Are you going to tell us or are you just going to keep circling us?" Betty asked the boys, clearly fed up.

"Yeah, we're going to miss Potions if you don't just spill it out." Said Severus, rolling his eyes.

"This isn't intimidating at all, y'know." Nora sassed, seeing Avery become a little flustered.

"Alright fine, I'll start." Avery shushed them, grabbing a seat and sitting down to talk to the three. "As you know, the dark lord needs people, people who want to hurt mudbloods and blood traitors, he's always looking for new people. He is clearing out the ones who don't belong." Giving them a quick lesson on who he is, Nora knew exactly where this was going.

"He's quite fond of the younger generation and has heard a lot of things about you three, plus Bulstrode but we'll talk to him later. The dark lord is going to ask your parents to see if you'll come for a swearing in ceremony to become a death eater.. which is just a name for killing those who aren't Pureblood— and not a blood traitor."

She felt her heart almost shatter into a million pieces, Avery sounds exactly like Bartys' mother, wanting nothing but the best for her son. Nora felt her heart beat faster, wondering what her parents were to say this. Nora doesn't hate anyone because of their blood status, she either hates the person because of their personality, or if they are just too stupid to speak sometimes.

Nora looked at both Betty and Snape who were already looking at her, not knowing what to say as they were all in distraught.

"Why us?" Betty spoke up, still looking at Nora as Nora was looking at Nott to make him say something— why she was she chosen? Nora talks to a blood traitor and muggle borns all the time when she is in her classes.

"It's simple, you three are excellent in charms class, exceeding grades so it won't effect your marks, and you all come from a good blood line who would do anything to make the dark lord look at you. Not to mention you can duel very well." Avery said, opening a lollipop wrapper and putting it in her mouth.

"I'm a half blood?" Snape questions them, raising his hand, confused by his part in this situation. "Yes, but the dark lord admires the fact you see eye to eye with a Pureblood. Not to mention you hate Mudbloods, finally breaking it off with that little red head of yours."

Avery looked directly at Nora, getting up to walk over to her, smiling a little. "And little Nora here, has gotten very close with the Potter blood line—"

"Who's to say I'll join?" Nora cut off Avery, having her voice tremble under pressure. Nott scoffed at Nora, calling her a stupid girl for even asking that question. "Simple, you don't join by seventh year, or the dark lord will kill you himself."

Trying to hold back her gasp, Nora couldn't believe what she was hearing, seeing Avery laugh a little— clearly letting the mania get to him. "You cousins, cissy and Bella have been with us since last year, and look at them, they found their soulmate and soon going to be on the way to have a child."

How does this make me feel better?

"What if i don't see eye to eye with the dark lord? No offence but killing random muggles isn't a good pass time for me." Betty said, her voice dripping in sarcasm.

Nora felt like she couldn't believe her ears or eyes, the things Avery and Nott made perfect sense, and yet she couldn't do anything else except hear what they have to say, looking at Nott who was trying to pump up being a death eater.

"Oh! It seems like I've forgotten the most important part!" Avery clapped, pointing to Nott to come over and show them. "W-w-which is?" Nora stuttered a little.

The three, plus Avery all saw the way Nott rolled up his sleeve to show off a skull and a snake on on his forearm, clearly a tattoo that all the Purebloods have. Avery showed off his, sticking his tongue out and smiling. "Badass huh?"

Oh yeah, a death eater tattoo.

Nora saw the way Betty smiled at the tattoo, hoping that was an act, hitching her breath as she tried to not scream for help. "You guys have no choice anyways, I just felt like you should know since you three and Atticus only have two months until you'll be one of us." Avery said, waving them a goodbye.

Nott had un-charmed the door, grabbing Nora's wand and smiling at her. "Don't think about it too hard, Black." He whispered, handing it over to her. Nora didn't say anything as the three Slytherins arrived to potions class twenty minutes late, apologizing to Slughorn as they decided to sit together, getting stared at.

Nora didn't eat or sleep that day. She couldn't believe the things she was told yesterday, her head hurt so much she spent the night in the hospital wing beside Atticus and Evan.

"And how are you feeling this morning?" Madame pomphrey asked the poor girl. Nora shrugged her shoulders, feeling her head still tense but didn't want to stay another second where Avery or Nott could possibly show up.

"I'm fine, I can head out." Nora said, turning to see Atticus still asleep, snoring the day away. It was only six in the morning, allowing Nora to go with a hall pass in case Mrs.Norris the annoying cat decides to creep up on Nora as she goes downstairs to change and get ready for the day.

"Glad you're better honey." Promphrey said before Nora shut the large doors, taking the fastest route to the common room, wanting to get dressed and ready for the day. Lazily walking and rubbing her eyes, Nora mumbled the password, trying to not pant so hard as she went up another set of stairs, barely making it to her bed.

Grabbing her uniforms and making her way to get ready before the other girls. Trying to clear her head and not wanting to hear the echoes or Avery's voice while Nott tries to be sentimental towards Nora.

Nora knew at some point all Slytherins would bow down to this random man who has a hole on them. The funny thing is, the dark lord, is half-blood himself who just happened to be in Slytherin. Tom Riddle was ready to take over the wizarding world, he just needed more people to recruit.

Barely looking out together; Nora laid on her bed until someone else woke up, staring at the ceiling and trying to accept the fact she'll be recruited as a death eater any time now without her own consent.

And Nora here, has gotten very close with the Potter blood line.

Feeling goosebumps all over, Nora felt numb to say the least about this whole situation. She wanted to forget about the whole conversation, but it was quite hard when you'll have to see two members of the death eaters in your own house, knowing you'll be like them not too long from now.

"Nora? Why are you up so early?" Betty yawned, sitting up in her bed. "I'm always up early B." Nora sighed, getting off her bed as she could tell Betty didn't have a good sleep, both feeling shaken up from the encounter.

"Do you think they'll be... recruited?" Betty whispered to Nora, referring to the other girls in their dorm room. "Let's hope bloody not." Nora mumbled, watching Betty yawn once more before she went to go change.

Looking at her uniform, Nora didn't even have her tie properly on, deciding while she waited for Betty, she should fix it. Getting off her bed and going to the designated tie mirror, Nora took it completely off as she began to fix it, looking at herself in the mirror.

Her eyes were dark underneath, puffy eyes fit the look as her hair was too knotty to even be combed. In other words, Nora was a hot mess.

"Alright let's go." Betty groaned, grabbing her bag and both walking out of their dorm and out of their common room. "I'm going to check in on Atticus, you coming?" Nora shook her head, heading to the great hall for breakfast.

Seeing Regulus sitting alone and reading the daily prophet, Nora frowned when she came to sit in front of him, saying good morning. As regulus was halfway through the paper, Nora read the headline as she dropped her fork.

BREAKING NEWS, another attack on a muggle family in the muggle world happened last night at three in the morning. The ones who attacked the muggle family appeared to be the leaders of the Dark lord, Voldemort. The death eaters were soon supported with black coats, nobody could quite place who were the ones that attacked the family.

More information to come.

She couldn't believe her eyes, seeing the moving picture be the muggle family in distress, talking to the muggle police. It made Nora feel sick, this could potentially be her, deciding to rage and go manic— taking on innocent muggle families who don't know anything about the wizarding world.

Looking around to see everyone reading the headlines, Nora turned to see Nott and Avery already looking at her, waving as they began to eat their food. What has happened to this world?
