Before we can head inside the elevator and girl and her sister stops us asking for a picture.
"We literally love both of your channels and your guy's music! We came all the way from Arkansas to see you guys! Thank you!" They smile holding on to their phones for dear life, almost like the phone was going to run away.
"Thank you so much!" I smile at the girls as they wave at us and run happily away. I yawn and we make our way into the elevator.
We all squish into the elevator together, I was squished between Colby and Carmen on my right next to the buttons.
We make it to our floor and I push myself out of the smaller elevator. I already had a fear of elevators, let alone small places. I let out a harsh breath, almost tripping on the carpet.
"Are you okay?" Katrina laughs, grabbing my arm to keep me from falling.
"Yeah." I laugh as I get up. We start to follow Carmen, having no idea what number rooms are ours. We just admire the building itself while walking along the large and luxurious hallway.
"Hey, you know what I want to do?" I quietly ask Kat and Ainisa as we walk side by side. Kat just hums a response while Ainisa starts to giggle.
"Cooolb-" "Shut up Ainisa!" I quickly try to shut her up by punching her side. She winces and I continue to try to explain what I wanted to do.
"Wait! What do you mean "do" Col- WAIT. NIKO DO YOU LIKE-?"
"SHHHSHSHHH KAT." I slap my hand on her mouth as the rest of the group turns and put their fingers to their lips trying to get us to be quiet because there are obviously people in the rooms around us.
"Yes. Okay? I do." I whisper, slowly taking my hand off her mouth. I give an apologetic look to the rest of the group. Carmen just rolls her eyes and continues to walk ahead.
"Really?! Why haven't you told me this before??" Kat whisper yells and I sigh.
"Yes really, please keep it a secret Kat. And, you just had never asked." I say as we continue down the hallway.
"YES, I HAVE!" Kat whisper yells again, trying to be more considerate to the other people.
"No, you haven't." I chuckle, I mean not that I can remember. She just rolls her eyes and we continue to argue if she's asked about who I had a crush on.
"Okay fine, whatever. Maybe you have asked but just please don't tell him. Or anyone else, okay?" I plead to her. She just excitedly nods her head and I sigh knowing she won't keep it a secret for long.
As we walk along the hallway, the rooms got more and more stretched out until eventually we reach our rooms. Our doors being right next to each other but being stretched out either way.
"Holy shit. Are these it?" Sam asks, pulling out his key to the door and scanning it on the automatic scanner.
"Yep. Now please don't do anything crazy, it's almost 11pm and we have a flight tomorrow." Carmen smiles while opening the door and waking to her entirely separate room.
"Put your stuff away and put your pants on then come over to our room!" Kat says opening the door to their room but before they could even walk in the completely stop at the shear size of it. It wasn't nearly as big as the hotel room yesterday however it was similar.
I chuckle to myself about their reaction and I walk into the room behind Ainisa. We go into our shared bedroom and put our bags down on the bed, going back in to the living room just after to grab our suitcases which had been nicely tucked away in the corner of the the room.
I grab mine and wheel them over back into our room. I lift it up and place it onto my bed, opening it to grab a spare shirt that just says Dior on the front. It was not the same one I had the first day we came however it was practically the same thing but with sleeves.
I put on my outfit and fix my hair before going into the bathroom to fix anything else that looked out of place.
"Cute! Pose for the pic, Niko!" Ainisa says as she put her phone up and flashed her camera to take a picture of me. I put a boring peace sign up and walk over to Ainisa to see the picture.
"Cute! Don't post it though." I laugh, going over to my backpack that I had also packed with my computer and other random essentials. I grabbed my blue light glasses and laptop and walk back over to where Ainisa was.
"Ready? Let's go." Ainisa nods as we walk out of our shared bedroom. I gave Ainisa my computer for a second and went into Carmen's room to see her on the phone with who knows.
"Hey! What's up?" She asks, putting her hand over the speaker giving me a smile.
"We're gonna go over to Sam and Colby's for a while." I say as she just nods and goes back to talking with whoever was on the phone with her.
I walk back over to Ainisa and she hands me my computer and we leave the hotel room and knock on their door.
"Hi!!" Kat almost immediately opens the door which startles me. She lets us in and Sam and Colby were on the couch already watching TV.
"Let's take a picture!" Kat says as she lets us in and goes over to the mirror.
"Okay!" I smile, following her over to the fairly large mirror on the wall. I squat in front of Kat and Ainisa and pose for the picture.
"Cuteee!" "Post it!" Me and Ainisa say as Kat goes to the couch and sit next to Sam, me and Ainisa following behind her.
I plop down next to Colby and open my computer, Ainisa sitting on the other side of Kat.
"What are you working on?" Colby asks looking over at my computer.
"Hm? Oh nothing really, just emails." I sigh, opening up Gmail and looking through the thousands of spam emails and others about sponsorships and some orders conformations.
"God and I thought we got a lot of emails." Sam laughs passing behind me to grab a drink.
"It's a pain in the ass." I say moving my glasses to rub my eyes.
"I know how it is." Sam laughs. I lay my head back on the couch and almost fell asleep but something in my mind just wouldn't let me. Ainisa noticed I was slumped back on the couch.
"If you're tired go back to the room, Niko." Ainisa says, opening her drink and taking a sip.
"No, I'm fine." I say quietly and lifting my head back up then down to my computer, continuing to respond to emails.
After a long while of just talking and really bonding with my favorite people, slowly they all went to sleep.
Sam and Kat both being the first and leaving to go sleep in their shared bedroom then Ainisa went back to our hotel room.
I decided to just stay in the room with Colby and continue to do my work and look through and update my schedule while Colby watches TV and scrolls through his phone.
"Aren't you tired Colby?" I ask him looking up from my computer. I had turned to face him having my legs on top of his thighs.
"Not really, no. I've been having pretty bad insomnia lately. Are you not tired?" I shake my head and close my computer, rubbing my eyes and stretching my arms out.
"What did you say you wanted to do earlier?" He asks, I didn't think he was listening when I was talking about that. I really hope he didn't hear Ainisa.
"Oh! Ah. I wanted to go look at the Kardashian's Closet. I'm pretty sure it's in one of the stores here but I don't really know which one." I say, trying to remember where Kylie had said it was.
"Let's go then. It's in the mall right?" I look up at him with stars in my eyes. Ainisa never wants to go exploring at night with me anymore ever since I got us kicked out of target.
"Really?" I say cheerfully, but then realizing that it's like 1 in the morning and it's more than likely closed. I sigh and move my legs off him and sit forward.
"That's okay. We can still walk around." He says, start getting up. I follow after him.
"I'm just gonna leave my computer in here. Is that okay?" I ask, putting it on the island of the center of the counter space. I take my glasses off as well and set them down.
"Of course. I'll make sure you don't forget it." He laughs and holds the door open for me to follow him.
"Thank you." I smile, walking through the hotel door and into the hallway.
"Oh! Wait, let me get my purse just in case." I say, going into my pocket to grab my key to the hotel room.
"No. It's fine, I'll pay for whatever we buy." He says walking forward towards the elevator.
"No. No. You don't have to do that for me." I say with a frown still standing by my hotel door.
I hate when people buy things for me. I don't know if it's a dominance thing or what but I just sigh and decide I'd re-pay him tomorrow morning. I was too tired to argue.
"There's no way I'm letting you pay for anything and I'm not going to let you deny my offer. Come on." He says, smiling at me, making me blush slightly while not visible because of my darker skin tone and the light iluminase of the light.
"Fine." I smile back at him and we walk side by side going towards the elevator lobby.
"What should we do first?" Colby asks me as we leave the lobby of the hotel, walking into the nearly empty casino. "Boba?" I as as I give him a cheeky smile.
"Okay." He laughs. I smile and grab his hand, leading him over to the boba shop I saw a few hours ago.
We stand behind an elderly couple who slowly look at the menu before starting to order. They finish ordering and turn around and looked at us.
"You two are such a cute couple!" They say slowly before smiling at us.
"Oh no! We're just friends." I say shaking one of my hands.
"The two of you holding hands says otherwise." The elderly man says with a smile. I realize then that I am indeed still holding Colby's hand.
"Oh! I'm sorry, Colby! I didn't know." I say, throwing my hands up after letting go of his hand while my face heats up with embarrassment. Colby smiles softly and
"You two have a nice night." The two smile and chuckle to themselves as they walk away.
"Sorry." I mumble again to him and he shakes his head. "It's okay, Niko. I don't mind." He smiles at me, making my head spin.
I don't know if it was from the embarrassment, how handsome he is or just because it was late and I am still hung over from last night.
"Next." The worker announced as I snap out of my trance and walk up with Colby to the counter.
"Hi. How can I help you?" The tired retail worker says as I look over to Colby.
"I don't want anything. Just get something for you." He says. "Are you sure? Do you want to go somewhere else then?" I ask looking over at the other shops that were open in the large food court.
"No, No. I'll be fine." He says then ushering me to choose something. No one else was in line so it wasn't like we were in a rush.
"Are you sure?" I frown. "Yes. Now choose something." He chuckles and I just go with it, I can tell worker's already tired of my bitching.
"Uhm. Can I get #1 with milk tea." I say to the worker as she nods and types it into the cash register.
"That'll be $6.97." I felt bad because Colby was paying for my drink but there was nothing really I could do about it.
"Thank you, Colby." I smile at him as we walk over to find a near by table to wait for my drink.
"You're welcome Niko, and don't you dare try to pay me back." He smiles as we sit at a table next to the shop to wait for my drink.
"Fine." I roll my eyes, knowing I'm still going to try pay him back. "I'm being serious." He says, gives me a serious look.
"I know. I know." I smile as my number was called. I go over and grab my drink, grabbing a straw as well. I walk over to Colby and sit back down in front of him.
"Do you want to try some?" I ask him, pushing my drink slightly towards him. "Sure." He says, drinking from the straw.
"Woah. That's really good." He smiles, handing me my drink back.
"See, now you know why I like it so much." I smile at him taking a sip of my drink as well. He hums and smiles back. I was trying to think about what else to talk about with him.
"Oh hey! What were you going to tell me when we were at the fountain yesterday?" I ask him. I don't have a clue in the world what he thinks about.
"Oh. Uh. Don't worry too much about it. It wasn't that important." He says with a slight blush on his cheeks. "Are you sure?" I ask, continuing to drink my drink.
"Yeah. Anyway. What do you want to do now?" He asks, completely changing the subject. I'm still not satisfied with that answer but I decide to just drop it for now.
"Hm. I guess we can walk around." I say, starting to get up off of the chair with my boba. Colby agrees and starts follows right next to me.
As we walk through the nearly empty mall, which only had 4 or 5 stores open, me and Colby talked about our lives and what we plan on doing tomorrow.
"Are you going to fly home after we land in LA? Or are you going to stay for a while?" He asks as we look around the empty mall.
I think about it for a second, should I tell him that I don't live in NYC anymore?
You know what? Fuck it.
