With Halloween right around the corner, there's nothing like some trick or treating action and a scary movie marathon on a cold, October night.
While those are some great ideas, WattpadESL and Romance are going to take this spooky season to another level. After all, it's also the perfect time to come up with a hauntingly good story!
With that in mind...
THE PROMPT
Choose ONE adjective and ONE verb from the following list and incorporate them into a fang-tastic Romantic Horror short story.

You can pick only one adjective and one verb from the given list. The story should have a romance and horror theme and must contain the chosen adjective and verb as it is.
However, do not add any theme/festish/trope that may make the readers and judges uncomfortable.

→ All entries have a word limit of 1500 words. Any more words will automatically disqualify your entry.
→ Entries must be submitted via this FORM.
→ Entries should be received no later than 23:59 UTC on the 31st of October, 2022.
→ We only accept stories written in English at the moment.
→ Only ONE submission per user.
→Mature stories are NOT allowed. Do not add any theme/festish/trope that can make the readers and judges uncomfortable.
