Y/N's POV:
Henry arrived late which gave monty a lead. I quickly started my car and drove away with a loud sound which filled the hall. It took a while but I finally caught up to monty. When I passed his car, he got furious. Monty bumped his car into mine from behind which made me slow and he tried to take the lead again. But when he tried to pass me, I bumped him from the side which made him skid on the side as he was on the wrong way.
The bumping game continued for a while until Monty rolled his mirror down. I thought he was going to say something but instead he threw some kind of device which sticked on to my front view mirror.
Monty gave a devilish grin and drove away very fastly. I was confused whuch made me slow down. The device started blipping and releasing smoke which covered my whole view. It was dark already so I had to stop. I quickly climbed out of the car and plucked the device off and threw it.
Now I was already late but I didnt gave up. I drove as fast as I can. I was now very close to the winning point and I just hope that monty havent crossed it yet. Suddenly the silent road was filled with sounds of sirens wailing.
"You got to be fucking kidding me!" I immediately dialed emily's phone on cars bluetooth and she picked up quickly.
"Where are you? Arent you driving?" Emilly exclaimed.
"Yes I am driving. I am almost there."
"Then why'd you call? Bye."
"No wait. Is monty there yet?"
"No why-Wait- Dont tell me he has the lead."
"I am sorry but yes. Plus I've got another problem."
"Shut the hell up and concentrate on your driving, boo! You cant lose this. I am hanging up." She exclaimed.
"Boo? Are you talking to Y/N? Where is he? Is he winning?" I heard Rose's voice. She was asking Emily.
"No wait! Em. I am afraid to say but I dont think I can make this on time."
"What do you mean you cant!"
"Monty cheated. He used some kind of smoke grenade or something and took the lead and now I am being chased by the cops for crossing the speed limits."
"What the fuck? Try to lose the cops and try to come back safely. I will talk to the organizers about monty and his evil plans."
"What did monty do? Is Y/N okay?" It was rose again.
"I am hanging up the call. Bye." I said before hanging up. I made a U-Turn and drove in the opposite direction. I finally lost the cops in some crowd so I turn back to the original path in full speed.
I was surprised when I saw the black CivicGt close ahead of me.
"Oh monty, there you are asshole!" I smiled.
When I drove beside it, monty's jaw dropped to the floor in shock when he saw me taking the lead again. He tried to pass my car again but I was not giving him the way to pass me. I dropped my speed all of the sudden when monty was behind me. He got confused and he hit the brakes without thinking so that our cars wouldnt crash into each other. When he hit the brakes, I quickly changed the gear and drove away so fast and stopped when I crossed the finish line. The crowd cheered and applauded on my arrival. Emily was standing with the organisers. She smiled and shook her head when she saw me. Henry rushed towards me with a proud smile and cheering my name loudly. Rose followed him. She looked so happy too. Then there was that one girl. She was standing at a distance with a beautiful smile plastered on her face. She showed her thumbs up and mouthed "congrats!". I smiled at her.
Finally Monty arrived. The organisers came to me and asked about what happened. I showed them the device monty used which was still sticked on my car. Monty glared at me.
"As mentioned in the rules, we wanted a fair race and since monty failed to follow it, we are banning monty for other races in future." The organiser said.
"Ban? You can't ban me!" Monty exclaimed.
"Yes we can."
"No please, he won the race anyway so please don't ban me."
"We are sorry but rules are rules." The organiser said and they left.
"I am so proud of you, boo!" Emily pulled me into a hug.
"I knew he would win." Henry said.
"Come on, you guys. We all deserve the credit." I said.
"Yay! You won!" Rose hit my arm playfully.
"Congrats Y/N!" Selena said.
"Thank you rose, Thanks Sel-"
"Y/N you know Alex?" Emily asked.
"Alex?"
"Yeah Alex, my cousin." Rose chuckled and pointed at selena. Selena was still hiding her face in those glasses and hoodie.
"Oh-Yeah-Alex-Yes I know her. We just met before the race started." I said. Selena smiled.
The organisers called us to hand the cash prize. Henry and Emily went to collect it.
"I hope you didn't got bored." I asked selena.
"No. I loved it. You did amazing." Selena said.
"He is amazing." Rose giggled.
"Agreed." Selena said.
"Okay that's enough."
"Hey Rose, Hey Y/N and Congrats." Selena's friend greeted.
"Hi Raquelle, where were you?" Rose asked.
'I think Rose got pretty close to them.' I smiled at my thought.
"She was here. I just said her to stay at some distance as I am in a disguise." Selena said.
"Oh. Excuse me." Rose's phone was ringing. She walked away to answer the call.
"So shall we leave now?" Raquelle asked selena.
"Umm..Yeah." Selena said.
"Thanks for coming today." I said.
"Its okay. I enjoyed the evening, so thanks to you." Selena said.
"See you then. Bye."
"Bye." She said.
When I turned to leave selena called my name.
"Uhmm, Y/N."
"Yes?"
"Are you going to your house?"
"Yeah, why?" I smiled.
"I-umm-we were going to have dinner. Would you like to join us?" Selena asked.
"Yo-you want me to join you and raquelle for dinner?" I asked.
"Yeah, No. Actually raquelle is going somewhere so its just us." She giggled. Raquelle was as confused as I am.
"Okay-sure." I shrugged.
"Cool. Where's your car?"
"Right over there." I pointed.
"Lets go then?"
"You go ahead. I'll inform my sis that I am going out."
"Okay." She said. Raquelle and selena started whisper talking while walking to the car.
I went to where Emily and Henry were waiting.
"Y/N! We are going to get some mods for my supra tomorrow." Emily said, excitedly.
"Relax, em. We just got the money." Henry shook his head.
"Oh shush! I am talking about my share of the money."
"Yeah. Okay, you guys, I am going out to have dinner." I said.
"Out? With someone?"
"Yes. Can anyone of you take rose with them?"
"Okay. But who are you going with?" Emily asked.
"Oh here you are. Y/N, my mom called. When are we leaving?" Rose joined us.
"Emily is leaving, she will take you with her." I said. Emily raised a brow at me.
"Lets go rose." Emily said and they left.
"Dude, see this is why I brought that car." Henry said and gestured towards his car. Two girls were leaninn against his car. The girls waved when they saw us looking to them.
"Good for you." I rolled my eyes and patted on his shoulder before leaving.

SELENA'S POV:
"Your car is beautiful." I said when Y/N opened the door and helped me get seated in the car.
"Thanks." He said.
"Do you mind if I play some music?" I asked.
"Ofcourse not." He smiled. I connected my phone via Bluetooth and played music.
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"Just keep driving. I'll direct you." I said.

"This place is beautiful." Y/N said.
"Like you-uhm-liked it- you like it?" I chuckled nervously.
"Yes." He said. He helped me get seated before sitting on his chair. I smiled at him. He smiled back.
"So what are you getting?" I asked when I saw him looking in the menu.
"Umm..I am confused. Any recommendations?" He asked.
"Do you mind if I give your order?" I asked.
"No. I'd love that."
"OK then." I called the waiter and gave our orders.
"You are so sweet." He said. I was blushing so hard.
"Oh shut up." I looked down shyly.
"You really are. Honestly." He said.
"Th-Thanks. Boo." I giggled.
"Wha- how do you know that name?"
"What name?" I played dumb.
"You know what I am talking about. " he rolled his eyes.
"Maybe I heard your sister calling you that." I giggled.
"Urgh! She calls me with that name since we were kids. I told her to stop but she won't. Now everyone uses that name to tease me."
"Aww. I wasn't teasing you."
"Its okay. I don't mind." He smiled.
Our food arrived. We kept talking while eating. Time flew and I was so lost in him. I think I like him.
The waiter came with the bill. Y/N was about to pick it up but I quickly snatched it before him.
"It's on me." I said.
"No no. You don't have to. We are splitting it."
"No Y/N, you won a race today so it's my treat for you." I said.
"Are you sure?"
"Ofcourse I am sure."
"Fine then."
I paid the bill and we left the restaurant. We got into the car and he started driving.
'Is it over? I want to spend more time with him.'
"Are you really a racer?" I asked.
"I am sorry?"
"I mean, your are driving like a normal person. I thought I was going to enjoy your ride- driving I mean."
"You want me to drive faster?"
"Duh!"
"Alright then. I thought you would be scared." He chuckled.
"Huh? Why would I be-OH MY GOD!-HOLY SH.." I trailed off when he suddenly increased the speed. It made me move back in a jerk and hold whatever I can, just to maintain my grip on the seat.
