Chapter nineteen
"Make a wish."
Making it to the kitchen, she was running in as her hair had come out of the style, Sharpay's girls had put it in "whoa!" a bunch of guys voiced as they moved out of the way "Tory?" Zeke asked her, confused on what she was wearing "Chad!" Tory yelled and as he turned to her, she jumped into his arms "whoa. Hey, Tory." Chad told her, laughing as he put Tory back down, moving her hands through her hair "sorry, it's just..Sharpay tried to turn me into her puppet and I had this really strange dream about me and you. And we were singing and dancing. And then you almost.." she was telling him as the two saw her brother standing there in a work uniform as the two walked towards him.
"Kelsi told us what went down between you and Sharpay." Chad shared "Im more interested in what went down between you guys and me. I was a jerk." Troy shared "yeah." Tory and Chad told him "but, hey, brothers fight. And Brothers and sisters to." Troy shared looking at both of them "and they're still brothers." Chad shared as Tory looked down "and?" she asked as Troy took a deep breath "and if you two really are dating each other than Im happy for you guys." he told them as Tory smiled, going to her brother and bringing him into a hug as Chad joined them everyone behind them started clapping as the three pulled apart "guys, I messed up your show and Im sorry." Troy shared.
"Yeah, because show business is our entire lives, right?" Zeke asked as everyone started laughing and bringing Troy into the circle "hey, I hope you haven't preeminently filled my spot in the two on two game." Troy shared with Tory who raised her brows "I played baseball but basketball is still your game." she informed him as they all started laughing Troy turned around "and Ryan, I know how hard you and my sister must've work on this show. Making these wildcats look good isn't as easy as it looks, right Tory?" Troy asked her "yep." Tory told him as they all laughed "so I apologize." Troy told him "hey, truth is, we've all had a lot of fun. At least, I have." Ryan shared.
As Chad patted Troy on the shoulder "hey, you gotta see this dude play baseball." he told him "seriously." Tory shared as Troy turned around "Im looking forward to it." he told Ryan as the two shook hands "Troy, listen, all these people out there, I don't really wanna see my sister crash and burn. At least I think I don't." Ryan shared as they all laughed "I mean look at what she did to me!" Tory shared holding out her arms as Zeke snapped his fingers "that's why you look like that." he realized as Chad shoved him "I think you should sing with her." Ryan told Troy who took a deep breath and when he left to go talk to Sharpay they all were standing around waiting for news.
And soon everyone outside working had found out that the show was back on from Kelsi as she soon arrived back in the kitchen she clapped her hands "okay, everyone. Ryan, the shows on." Kelsi informed him as they cheered "where's the music." Ryan asked her as Kelsi handed it over "where's my brother?" Tory asked her as he arrived "talked to Sharpay. Everything's cool." Troy informed them "hey, speaking of my sister she wants you to learn a new song." Ryan informed him as Troy chuckled "everyday, I can't learn a new song." he told them as he turned to Tory "and Kelsi will help you with that but right now you need to go." Tory informed him "what?" Troy asked as Kelsi pulled him along "it's showtime!" Ryan told them all as they cheered heading out
"What team?" Chad asked "wildcats!" they all yelled "what team?" Chad asked again "wildcats!" they yelled again "wildcats!" Chad yelled "get your head in the game!" they all yelled and as they ran out Chad pulled Tory aside "so what's it that I almost did?" he asked her as Tory's eyes went wide "uh.." she went to tell him as Martha came back grabbing her hand "come on!" she yelled, pulling her away from Chad as Chad ran after them. And Martha thankfully had helped changed Tory's outfit into a white dress as they all stood around watching Kelsi play the piano along with the band as Troy walked on stage he soon started singing
"Once in a lifetime
Means there's no second chance
So I believe that you and me
Should grab it while we can."
Then unknowing to him Gabriella had started singing as he looked around confused.
"Make it last forever
And never give it back."
Where Troy was then standing in the middle of the stage as he moved the mic back up singing again.
"It's our turn, and I'm loving' where we're at."
Then the both of them began singing together as Tory and Chad separated as Gabriella walked through them.
"Because this moment's really all we have."
Troy then began to sing again.
"Everyday
Of our lives,"
Gabriella sang walking up towards the stage.
"Wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight."
Then Troy sang
"Gonna run."
As the two then started singing together
"While we're young
And keep the faith."
Then Troy began to make his way down to her as he sang.
"Everyday."
As the two then started singing together.
"From right now,
Gonna use our voices and scream out loud."
Then Gabriella reached the stage holding out her hand as she sang.
"Take my hand."
In which Troy and met her taking it as he sang.
"Together we
Will celebrate,"
Then Gabriella sang.
"Celebrate."
As the two then sang together
"Oh, everyday."
As they made their way back onto the stage everyone clapped as Taylor pulled Tory into her glad that they pulled this off as Gabriella started singing and moving down the stage Troy followed her just like in the rehearsals.
"They say that you should follow"
Troy then sang.
"And chase down what you dream,"
As Gabriella then moved around him singing.
"But if you get lost and lose yourself."
Troy then held open his suit jacket singing.
"What does is really mean?"
In which the two moved around each other again as Gabriella sang.
"No matter where we're going,"
Troy then sang
"It starts from where we are."
Gabriella then sang
"There's more to life."
As the two then began singing together

They then made their way over to the piano.

Then the two moved to the middle of the stage again as Gabriella did a spin.
"EverydayFrom right now,"
Troy sang doing a spin as well following Gabriella's moves.
"Gonna use our voices and scream out loud."
They sang together as they just danced.
"Take my hand

Will celebrate,"
The two sang as they headed to separate sides of the stage, Gabriella then sang.
"Oh, everyday."
As Troy started singing as made his way towards her.
"We're taking it back,
We're doing it here
Together!"
Gabriella then sang as she made her way towards him
"It's better like that,
And stronger now
Than ever!"
As Troy then sang.
"We're not gonna lose."
As Gabriella reached him the two then sang together
"'Cause we get to choose.
That's how it's gonna be!"
Then Troy sang softer
"Everyday
Of our lives,"
While Gabriella then sang.
"Wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight."
She leaned her head on his shoulder as Troy sang.
"Gonna run
While we're young."
Looking to Gabriella the two of them then sang together.
"And keep the faith
Keep the faith!"
And when it got to that part, Tory was jumping up on down as the others joined her as they all sang.
"Everyday."
In which her brother looked to them all in shock as Tory and Chad began heading down the isles singing along with everyone else who walked behind them or from other empty parts of the seating as they made their way to the stage.

They all had made it to the stage as they got into a giant circle holdings hands even Sharply joined them.
"Everyday
From right now,
Gonna use our voices and scream out loud."
They all began moving in a circle then.
"Take my hand

Will celebrate,"
Then they all stopped and began jumping up and down, then all moved into the middle and began dancing around as Gabriella found Tory handing her the mic and as Tory shook her head no, Gabriella and Taylor pushed her towards her brother.
"Everyday!"
Troy and Tory sang together as they stood in the front together.
"Live every day!"
Everyone else sang.
"Love everyday!"
As Tory and Tory sang
"Everyday."
The rest of them sang.
"Live everyday!"
Then Troy and Tory sang
"Everyday."
The others then sang.
"Love everyday!"
As Tory then sang.
"Everyday!"
Everyone then sang it again
"Everyday!"
Then Troy sang it
"Everyday!"
Then everyone else again.
"Everyday!"
Then Tory
"Everyday!"
Everyone else then sang.
"Everyday!"
As Troy sang it again.
"Everyday!"
Then Tory sang it the last time as they all got ready to bow.
"Everyday."
In which they all had held their hands up as they bowed, while everyone else in the audience clapped while Kelsi got up she ran over moving in-between Tory and Chad and putting her arms around them as Mr Folton walked out "yes. Fabulous! Fabulous. Well if you'll all please take a seat." he told them all as the audience did so "I have one last task to perform this evening. The star dazzle for this year goes to, of course, our one and only." Mr Fulton was saying as Sharpay took the mic and the star dazzle award "my brother.." she went to tell them all but Ryan then took the mic and star dazzle award from her "my amazing new dance partner Tory Bolton." he told them all as Tory's eyes went wide everyone turned to her.
And as Ryan walked over to her handing it over, Tory raised her brows "you know this is both of ours right?" she asked as Ryan handed it over, Tory pulled him into a hug as everyone began surrounding them, glad she had won.
Later that night, they all had changed into regular clothes as they headed out to the back with paper lanterns in their hands, Kelsi was with Jason, Sharpay was with Zeke, Gabriela was with Troy while Tory and Chad were together then Martha, Ryan and Taylor stood together as they all stood their together "make a wish." Chad told Tory as Tory looked to him "but my wish already came true." she told him and as he looked to her smiling where as the others headed down the hill except for Tory and Chad and Troy and Gabriella.
"So are you ever gonna tell me about your dance dream with me and you and what I almost did?" Chad asked her as Tory shook her head "I think you can figure it out for yourself." she told him as Chad leaned down to her, Tory closed her eyes as he kissed her on the lips, she kissed him back as the two let their lanterns float into the sky, fireworks began to go off in which the two smiled pulling apart "you know that's a good sign, right?" Chad asked her as Tory nodded, bringing him into another kiss where even when the sprinklers went off the two didn't separate as they continued kissing.
