Charlie's POV
Trudy" You're not going anywhere until you tell me what is under here!"
Eddie" We don't want you to see"
Trudy" Oh, why ever not?"
Twins" Ah!"
Fabian" Well, it will spoil the trick"
Trudy"Trick?"
Fabian" For Alfie's, magic act.For the open day"
Trudy" Hmm.Okay, well far be it from me to ruin the magic"
Charlie" Thank you Trudy"
Trudy" Oh! That looks heavy, I'll give you a hand"
Charlie" No it's okay, Trudy there is five of us"
Trudy" Don't be silly, Well Come on.Come on"
Great this is not what we needed right now, how were we going to get this to the crypt with Trudy with us.
Trudy"You'll want this in the common room, up on the stage, for everyone to see"
Twins" Sure"
Fabian" Yeah, sounds great Trudy"
Trudy" Oh! Hold on we'll need someone to meet us there.I'll give Victor a call, he'll lend us a hand"
Oh my god we had to do something but what. Fabian then screams as he drops his bit of the wheelbarrow.
Fabian"Oh! Ow!"
Trudy" Oh, Fabian! Are you all right?"
Charlie" I think he caught his hand"
Trudy" Oh! Don't try to move it"
Fabian then makes fake noises of pain.
Fabian" Oh! Ah! Ah!
Fabian" I think it's broken'
Trudy" Okay, okay um, just wait here.I'll go and get some help"
Charlie"The kind of help we don't need"
Fabian"Let's get out of here quick"
We finally come to a hole in the trees and and slowly wheel the wheelbarrow down the hill.
Eddie" Once we get Frobisher into the crypt, we should be fine"
Fabian" Ha-ha! Alfie, you were right"
KT" So that's what it looks like on the outside.Huh, and here I thought it would be all spooky"
Alfie" So how do we get in?"
KT" I've got a pretty good idea"
KT holds up her grandfathers key.
Alfie" You always carry a key to a musty old dead people hangout?"
KT" It's the kind of girl I am"
Alfie" Okay, careful for zombie stragglers"
Fabian" Alfie we've talked about this, zombies don't exist"
Alfie" But there are such things as sleeping Egyptologists? I'm so confused"
Poor Alfie.
Fabian" We're going to have to draw a diagram"
Eddie" So all we need to do now is wait till nightfall"
Charlie" That's still a long way off"
KT" Seriously guys, you can go now.We have everything we need to reawaken my great-grandpa.I can take it over from here"
Fabian" No, no way!"
Charlie"No.We're all in this together KT, I can't let my girl down"
KT"You guys could be risking your lives"
Eddie" Well For some crazy reason I think, we all think it's worth it"
KT" Thanks guys.
Eddie then pulls his phone out.
Eddie" Oh it's three missed calls from Patricia"
Charlie"What's the message?"
Eddie then tries phoning but there is no signal.
Eddie" I can't get it there's no reception here"
Fabian" What if she's trying to warn us?"
KT" No one knows we're here"
Alfie"What if Denby has some special evil way to find out?"
Fabian" Alfie, I don't think so"
Alfie" Guys you don't know, she could come through that door any second now"
Then the door opens and we all panic. Eddie grabs my arm and drags me behind a wall with him.
Eddie" Move, now!"
Fabian" Quick!"
Alfie" Why am I always right about things?"
KT" Shh!"
Whoever the person was walked in and we all were holding our breaths. We then hear Patricia and I never thought I would be happier to see her.
Patricia" Why are you hiding down there, Haven't you got a ceremony to be sorting out?. And why aren't you answering your phone?"
Eddie and I appear from around the corner where we had been with KT.
Eddie" Oh, Patricia, I have never in my life been this happy to see you"
Patricia"Look Denby is on the trail, she'll know we've got Frobisher"
Eddie" Can't we even try doing the ceremony now?"
Fabian" No! No, it won't work.If we get one part wrong we fail, that's the whole point to the ceremony"
Patricia" Tonight is too late! The adults are going to realise we're missing and that we're responsible, I say we leave him here, we go back and we act normal"
KT" No way, some of us need to stay behind and watch over him until it's time. And the others can go back to the school and cover"
Alfie and Patricia" School"
Twins" Our hero's"
Charlie"Alright Alfie and Patricia, you need to make the adults think that we're somewhere else, anywhere else but here"
Patricia" But that means you'll be locked in. In a crypt.For hours. With a spooky sleepy guy. Have none of you got a problem with that?"
Alfie and Patricia leave us in the crypt and I won't lie it was terrifying though I was wondering if this would be better than be locked in the gatehouse. I leant against Eddie, who put his arms around me.
Eddie" There's no need to be scared Charlie"
Charlie" I know, just glad I'm not in here on my own"
KT" Me too, What time is it?"
Fabian" Seven minutes later than last time you asked me"
Eric's POV
I hurried over to Victor and Miss Denby.
Eric" Alfie, and Patricia?"
Victor" Accounted for.
Eric" Then I'm satisfied that everyone here is where they say they were.We are only missing"
Miss Denby" Your twins. And their two usual cronies"
Victor" I keep telling you they know more than they say"
Eric" We must assume that they..."
Patricia" Um In case you're wondering The Twins and KT took Fabian to the hospital"
Eric" Hospital?"
Patricia" Yeah. Yeah, you know Fabian hurt his hand. Eddie just phoned me, he said the place was really, really busy"
Eric" Thank you Patricia, There! I think we can rule MY twins out of our inquiries"
I'm not sure how we were going to pass the time but then Eddie nudged me and when KT and Fabian had turned the other way chatting he whispered in my ear.
Eddie" Did one of you say something?"
Fabian" Nope"
KT" No, not me"
Charlie" Okay one of you definitely whispered my name as well"
KT" No!"
Fabian" Yeah, no way"
Charlie" Okay well it had to be one of you because there's no one else here"
We all then look at Frobisher.
Fabian" He can't. Can he?"
Eddie" He's saying something"
KT" But he can't talk he's he's"
Charlie" Shh! Shh! Shh! He's saying"
Eddie" He's saying you guys scare so easy"
Fabian and KT look at us. Not amused.
Twins" Ah! Your faces!"
Fabian sits back down with KT.
Fabian" Oh yeah like we believed you two"
Eddie" Oh, that was priceless come on!"
KT" Did it ever occur to you that maybe he wants some peace and quiet?"
Charlie" Sorry KT"
Eddie" Hey You okay?"
KT" I can't help thinking about why we're really here"
Fabian" Hey! It will work out don't worry"
KT" What if it doesn't? My grandpa said a great evil was about to be unleashed.If we mess this up, it's on us.
Another two hours past and then soon we could see the full moon through the sky light. I had been falling asleep on Eddie's shoulder when Fabian speaks making me jump.
Fabian" Guys? It's time"
Charlie" What, what, I'm awake, I swear"
Eddie" Okay, finally, I thought it would never be night"
Eddie pushes me slightly off him.
Eddie" You better not have dribbled on my shoulder"
KT" Guys!"
Twins" Sorry"
KT" Won't be long now great-grandpa"
Fabian" Don't worry, it's going to be okay"
We circle around Frbisher, it's weird I found him scary at first but now I might be getting used to him. I stand next to Eddie and he holds the bracelet.
Eddie" Let the ceremony begin"
Eddie starts pacing around the tank holding the bracelet.
Fabian" Uh What's wrong?"
Eddie" It's a lot harder working out where a bracelet goes when there aren't any wrists"
KT" How did you two get to be The Osirians again?"
Charlie" Wait, Eddie give me the bracelet"
Eddie" What, why?"
Charlie" Just give it here"
Eddie hands me the bracelet and I pull back the cap on the tank. They all look at it, it was where the red light was flashing from.
Eddie" It has to go in here, it has to, nice work Osirian"
Charlie" Thank you Osirian"
We look at KT and she rolls her eyes, she smiles though.
KT" Shut up you two"
We slot the bracelet in and it start glowing blue.
Fabian" Okay, are we ready?"
We all nod.
