A/N: Happy New Year Everyone. I'm sorry for the long delay on updating this story. I honestly thought that I will not be updating this story again but many ideas for this story just entered my head this new year and I decided to write it. It seems I will not be dropping this story anytime soon.
Two months have passed since the fight that happened in the giant kingdom. Currently, Kinlith is on her way to the Spade Kingdom where Rimuru asked her to go after she has mastered her new abilities. She took these past two months to enter retreat and she was able to comprehend and master her new abilities of space. Now, she is confident that she can hold her own against one of those dragons. Beating them is a different story though as she is not that strong yet.
Kinlith was traveling through the forest in other to get to the Spade Kingdom. It took her a full week, but she was able to make it out of the forest and was able to see the huge gate of the Spade Kingdom in a distance.
"So this is the Spade Kingdom which is said to be the strongest human kingdom in the world. I can't wait to reach it and begin a new chapter for my life" She said to herself in excitement.
With that excitement, Kinlith ran to the gate of the Spade Kingdom. On reaching the gate, she saw that a small crowd of people, mostly humans were lining up at the gate and two guards were at the gate collecting money from those who wish to enter the kingdom.
Kinlith went and lined up with the others and it took thirty minutes before it was her turn. The guards were at first suspicious of her since Kinlith is now the size of a ten year old girl and kids her age shouldn't be wondering around without their parents, but Kinlith told them that she lost her parents and is now an orphan who wish to find safety in this kingdom. Not wanting to let her suffer, the guards directed her to the direction of the temple and asked her to inform the priest there situation.
After that, Kinlith entered the kingdom and was very surprised. The kingdom was filled with humans everywhere and various shops were selling foods and items in their shop. The buildings in the kingdom were all big and very fancy, but the largest of them all was the castle which she presumed was the home of the royals family.
Kinlith walked for some time until she remembered her purpose "That's right, I must find Prince Shu and ask him to allow me to join his Heavenly Knights. But first, I need to figure out where the knight stay in this kingdom"
Kinlith with a goal in mind, began to ask around for the direction of the Knights quarters. Once she got the direction, she set out to go there immediately. After some hours of walking, Kinlith arrived at entrance of the Knights quarters which was by the side of the royal castle. She entered inside and saw a female receptionist at the counter with different people wearing silver armour head to toe walking around in the room.
She approached the receptionist and when she reached the counter, she rang a table bell to get the receptionist attention.
The female receptionist looked at Kinlith and waited to see what she wants.
"Good afternoon miss. My name is Kinlith and I want to know how to join the Heavenly Knights under prince Shu"
The receptionist looked at Kinlith with an annoyed look before sighing "Look Kinlith, this is not a play ground were kids play. Kids like you should be helping in the temple where you can earn some money to eat and other stuff. If you understand that, please leave before you hurt yourself"
The receptionist wasn't trying to be rude but it was just strange that a kid of about 10 years old was asking to join the knight. To make matter worse, the kid is a girl.
Kinlith looked confused and annoyed "Miss I really want to join the Heavenly Knights under prince Shu. I was directed by someone to go to this human kingdom and join the Prince party"
The receptionist face changed to full-blown annoyance "Kid, I tried to be nice but you are forcing my hand now. How can someone ask you to come to this kingdom to join the Heavenly Knights? No one has that authority besides the royal family. I will call someone to send you out if you don't leave"
"You don't understand. I really was sent here by someone who asked me to meet Prince Shu and assist him in slaying the demons" Kinlith explained
"And who is it that directed you here if not the royal family?" The receptionist asked her
"It was Lord Rimuru after he gave me his blessing" Kinlith Shouted
The moment Kinlith said those words, the room froze. Everybody inside the room looked at Kinlith with a shocked looked and slight fear.
The receptionist got angry after she heard what Kinlith said "I will not tolerate anyone using the name of our lord in vain. Kid, if we find out that what you said was a lie, you will be locked up in jail for ten years"
"And how do you plan to check if I am lying?" Kinlith asked
"Since you said that you received our lord's blessing, it means that you are indeed qualified to be a member of the Heavenly Knights, but we must test your strength. You will have to fight one of our knights in a battle. If you can't defeat our regular knights in a fight, then we will know that you are lying since those who are blessed by our lord are said to be beyond human comprehension" The receptionist explained
Kinlith face lit up "When can we start?"
"Follow me to the back arena"
The receptionist led Kinlith to the back arena which the Knights use for their training.
Upon reaching the arena, Kinlith saw that so many knights were practicing their sword techniques. She could see the power of each Knights when they swing their sword and it was making her excited just watching them.
The receptionist left Kinlith and walked to a man in casual clothes standing by the side of the arena. The man looked and saw the receptionist walking to him which prompted him to face her.
Kinlith turned away from the arena and saw the receptionist talking to a man with muscles build who is wearing a casual leather clothes. Both of them were talking and would occasionally turn to her before resuming their talk.
After sometime, both the receptionist and the man began to approach Kinlith.
When the man reached Kinlith, he nodded at her "My name is Youm and I am the captain of the knight order of the Spade Kingdom. I heard about what you said to the receptionist and I will like to test your skills myself. Is that acceptable to you?"
Kinlith was overjoyed and nodded "It is no problem at all. When should we start?"
"Right now..." Youm turned to the arena "Hey clear the arena for me. I want to have a mock battle with this little girl claiming to have received blessings from our lord*
The Knights went into an uproar when they heard what their captain said. They were obviously doubting that their lord Rimuru will bless a random little girl but they couldn't disobey their captain.
After the arena was cleared, Kinlith and Youm entered the arena and stood opposite of eachother. All the knight went and stood by the side outside the arena and was watching to see what will happen.
Before the match began, Prince Shu entered arena ground along with his team. He wanted to see the captain for something but he saw him preparing to battle a little girl with red hair.
He was confused so he went to a knight standing by the side to ask what is happening.
"O prince Shu. You are just in time" the knight greeted him
"Just in time for what? Can you explain what is happening?" Prince Shu asked
"Well that little girl in the arena claimed that she received blessings form our lord Rimuru, so the captain is planning to test and see if it is true or not" The knight explained
"Wait! Lord Rimuru blessed someone and it is a kid!" Anna a member of the heavenly knight said in shock
"Judging someone by their appearance is bad form and a quick way to get killed Anna" Jane another one of the Heavenly Knights reprimanded
"That is not important right now you two. What is important is that little girl is going to battle the captain. What if she gets hurts?" Alice the last female in the Heavenly Knights asked with worry.
"Don't worry Alice. Captain Youm is not the kind of person to injure someone with no training, let alone a little girl. Though, if she really did have lord Rimuru's blessings, then I believe that Captain Youm is the one we should be worried about" Prince Shu said his thoughts
"Prince Shu is right guys. Let's just watch this match and see what happens next. Who knows, we might be getting ourselves a new teammate after this" Adam the last male in tihe heavenly knights said.
"You have a point Adam. Let's watch the match first" Alice who was still worried for the little girl watched the match.
Kinlith ignored everyone around her and only focused on the man in the arena with her.
Youm drew his sword and confidently beckoned Kinlith to attack him with his hand.
Kinlith stretched out her right hand in front of her and made a grab motion with it. Then she pulled back her right hand and pulled out a sword in the process from nothing but tin air.
Everyone was confused on how she drew out a sword from tin air but Kinlith didn't pay them any mind.
With her sword in hand, she rushed at were Youm was with her regular speed which was faster than all the knights there. When she reached Youm, she raised her sword and brought it down on him.
Youm was confident that he could beat this little girl. He didn't even have it in his mind that he would lose. He was the captain of the knights and he was strong enough to fight lesser vampires and low ranking demons. His strength has always been praised by the king. So him being confident that he would win against the little girl named Kinlith was justified.
Seeing Kinlith dashing towards him, Youm was impressed by her speed but that was it. He was still faster if he used his full speed. After all, his speed has been compared to that of an arrow that was shot by a skilled archer back in the day.
He watched Kinlith bringing down her sword at him and he was about to raise his own sword to deflect it, but he stopped. For some reason, all the instinct in his body is telling him to dodge that sword immediately or he will be killed. He didn't know why his instinct was screaming danger to him but he listened anyway.
He jumped back with all his might away from the sword of Kinlith. That decision is one which he would look back and thank his instinct for alarming him because he would have been dead otherwise.
When Youm jumped back, Kinlith sword smashed the ground where he was standing before. The force and strength put into the sword broke the entire arena and shook the entire kingdom of Spade, that all the people in the kingdom thought that an earthquake was happening. The shockwave sent Youm flying like a ragdoll and all the Knights standing outside the arena was blown away and crashed into different places. Only Prince Shu, Anna, Jane, Alice and Adam were alright.
Kinlith who was standing in the middle of the broken arena looked around in confusion "I guess I don't know my own strength?"
This result was expected. Even though her size has changed to that of a human little girl, Kinlith is still a proud member of the giant race. Her strength is that of a giant which was said to be able to smash down a tall castle with their bare hands. And the current Kinlith had received blessing from Rimuru which made her powers to grow to an unimaginable level for a mortal standard.
The current Kinlith is strong enough to battle against a suppressed Dragon that entered the lower realm and said Dragon even with more than half of its power suppressed can still destroy the infinite Universes in the lower realm. That is just how much of a monster Kinlith has become but fortunately, the person in question didn't know about this and just thought that she is stronger than her previous self.
Prince Shu smiled when he witnessed the destruction caused by Kinlith's strength "I think we have a little monster on our hands"
"Says the monster who's power is infinitely rising without stopping" sarcastically remarked Adam
Prince Shu ignored him and approached Kinlith "How are you doing little girl, Kinlith right?"
Kinlith turned around and saw a beautiful man with blonde short hair wearing a silver White armour "That's me. Can I help you?"
"Yes you can. My name is Shu and I am the prince of the Spade Kingdom and the leader of the Heavenly Knights. Would you like to join my team?"
Kinlith face lit up in excitement "That was what I wanted from the very beginning. Nice to meet you Prince Shu"
The others approached and welcomed Kinlith into their ranks. There asked her questions which she answered and before long, Kinlith became one of them and due to her powers of space, she became the scout of the Heavenly Knights.
It was a good thing that she came now because Prince Shu and the other were planning to set out for the demon realm in a week's time.
