i knocked lightly on lillie's door and it was immediately yanked open.
"GIRL WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME?" she screamed excitedly.
"tell you what-" i asked, genuinely confused.
"about you and suna duh," she rolled her eyes while pulling me inside.
"wha- how do you already know?? i literally only just told the swaggy group chat," i said in disbelief.
"because of the happy high suna's been on since the twins' fight. the only other time he was like this was when he won his first volleyball game," she explained.
"dang bruh you guys really know each other," i commented.
"yeah he's an asshole lol. anyways tell me everything from start to end," she said as we sat down on her makeshift bed.
so i did.
i told her everything from the confession to the butterflies to the breakdown.
"he's got it down bad. never seen him act so caring like this with anyone except his mom and sister," lillie said once i had finished.
"oh shut up. you're just saying that to make me feel special or something."
"no it's true y/n. i know rintaro like i know my chicken legs," she stated.
"weird comparison but ok," i laughed.
"also you owe me 30 bucks," she suddenly said.
'HUH'
"wait what-" i started.
but before i could ask what she meant, there was a knock on the door.
"COME IN," lillie yelled.
the door opened to reveal a tired suna.
"lillie i love you but please shut up. we're all tired and want to go to bed for once," he sighed.
"yeah ok we'll be quieter," she said.
that was when he noticed me in the room.
he threw out a quick thank you to lillie, made a phone gesture with his hand at me, and walked out.
"i think i should get going. i don't want to be the reason your team loses to mine on saturday," i told lillie.
"girl please. we could beat you guys with our eyes closed," she smirked.
"we'll see about that. goodnight lillie," i said as i started leaving.
"goodnight y/n," was the last thing i heard before closing the door.
