When I arrived home, I brought out all of the things Vannessa gave to me. Basically all Isobel had were pages and pages of notes she took. Just random thoughts. Most notes I already knew from Gloria but there were a few new pieces of information.
Well that sounds painful, I hope that never happens to us but knowing the future for the originals, it probably will.
That definitely gives me a few ideas on who it is then. Most likely not Elijah, I am not like him. Though a lot of the others are very flirty like me. So that gets me nowhere.
Awww, I hope I'm spiritual besties with someone. That would be cute.
Hmmm, interesting. I'll have to visit Marcel and the witches soon then. I wonder if any of the originals performed this ritual to find out. Since all of them are supposed to have a soulmate, they must have.
If there is any downtime between dramas, that'll be the first thing I do.
I had a bit to let this new information soak in before I had to be at the barbeque. Jenna roped me into helping with food and drinks.
And since I'm 19, at least I think I am, she'll let me drink. Hell, i've gotten drunk with her before.
As I walk up with a tray of snacks I hear from inside, "Good news. Found the shot glasses." hmm, Mason is already here.
I walk in, knowing they are all in the kitchen, and head to where they are. "Ahhh, I can make good use of those."
Elena leaves the room and I look at Mason. He looks shocked that I would even be here.
I hug Jenna and set the tray down. I swipe the bottle from Mason's hand and pour us shots.
"Aren't you in highschool?" He looks at Jenna appalled that she would let me drink.
I scoff. "Nope."
Alaric walks in. "Oh, the expensive stuff. I like you already."
"Just happy to be invited."
Rick goes on about why he wanted a barbeque and I turn to Mason. "Hey, I have more stuff in my car, can you help me bring it in?" I say this loud enough so Jenna hears it and he can't say no.
He clears his throat. "Yeah, sure."
We start walking out and Jenna wiggles her eyebrows at me. I giggle and keep walking.
Once we are near my car and out of earshot, he turns to me. "So what's the deal? How do you know?"
"I'm not stupid, it's easy to tell that youve triggered the curse if you know what to look for. Plus I'm a witch too, I just know things."
He looks at me in shock, not saying anything. I start putting food in his hands so we can bring it in.
"What are you doing in town, Mason?"
"To see my nephew and-" I stopped him.
"Don't spew that bullshit at me, I mean, why'd you come here with kittykat of all people. I mean I know she's hot but." I close my car door and start walking, turning around to see him standing still.
"Are you coming or not?"
"Uh yeah, how did you know that."
"I know things, I told you that. I can also see the future. Speaking of, we need to get together sometime so I can help you stay alive."I say that last part a little bit more to myself.
"What!?"
"Relax, here's my number. We'll set up a time to talk and I'll help you." he takes the paper i give him and nods. "Great, It's a date." I wink and step into the house and head to the kitchen again.
"I have the rest of it." I set it down and see a new face. "Dames!" I rushed to embrace him.
"Mason, have you met Damon?" they shake hands and nod, with straight faces.
"Oh yeah! We were about to do shots!" I take one and knock it back.
After lots of eating and drinking, now everyone is playing charades.
It's Damons turn which means he is obviously going to draw another wolf.
"Dog, hound dog. You ain't nothing but a hound dog." Jenna is definitely drunk now.
I snort and look at Mason. "Dances with wolves."
"Vicki wins. Again."
I stand up and mock bow. "Thank you." I walk into the kitchen for another drink. Damon follows me in.
"Aunt Jenna's getting tipsy." We see Elena in here as well.
"Will you stop plying her with alcohol?" she asks with disdain.
"I want her to like me."
I grab a drink and notice the way Damon is looking at the silver. When they leave us alone I turn to him.
"Damon, no. don't even think about it."
"What? I just want to try."
"I know for a fact that it is a myth Damon, trust me."
He just shrugs and I know that he'll do it anyways.
After the barbeque, I head home and start to prepare for my trip to New Orleans.
