2 weeks have passed since the raid under the LGD HQ.
Reports of Reunion's movements are showing slow signs of actions and are laying low, making the city to open, but still with a curfew.
Ch'en on her desk sighed a she had bags on her eyes after pulling an all nighter for at least 5 days, since her assistant gone rouge, she was taking care of the paperworks on her own.
Though Hoshiguma and Swire was there, they are also tight on their schedule, since they lost a lot of their men, they have to double the patrol plan more than before.
There was a knock at the lung's office as she replied after emptying her mug of coffee. "Come in."
"You look like ass."
It was Timewatch who always greet her when she's in this state just to piss her off. She couldn't help but reminisce the man back when he's still alive.
"You look like you've seen Iberia."
A caster operator, Leize, the kylin who was deployed at Ch'en's team was the only one remaining with her.
"I'd rather hone my skills at Kazdel." The lung smiles and comments. "I thought the Juidical office called you back, why are you still here?"
For the past 2 weeks, even if Reunion slowly halted their movements, sags of shit kept appearing giving problems to Lungmen, moreover the other city's in Yan, had found terrorists, and was calling the high ranking officers for a meeting.
"This." She tossed a brown envelope, Ch'en took out the papers and read what file it is.
"Medical file?" She comments and opened the folder, reading all what was written there, she placed the folder down and stared at Leize. "Is this for real?"
"Let's get him back, and tell him everything. That he hasn't lost one thing." Ch'en stood up and took her sword.
"Thank you Ch'en, I'm in your debt."
"Just treat me to a bar, and then we're even." The lung simply replied as the kylin followed her to go and search for that one guy...
"So got anything of where he'd be like?"
"Hm, maybe he'll left some clues for that." Ch'en smiled confidently as the scene shifted to a dark warehouse where lots of gunshots were fired at.
"Stay away!" A union tosses a grenade towards the attacker to try and escape the pursuer.
But traces of lightning flew forward and formed into a human figure blocking his path.
"You asked for this..." It was the former journalist Lucas, firmly grasping the katana, he swiftly swung it down hitting the flesh part of it's leg.
A scream was responsed as Lucas wiped the blood of the blade to avoid getting it rusty, he knelt down and his eyes gaze at his target's soul.
"Where the hell is Solomon?"
"I don't know! I really don't know!"
Lucas clenched his fist and put all his energy punching the target at the face. "LIAR! i fucking heard your conversation with your fellow friends earlier! Spill it!"
Understanding that the union is resisting, lightning formed at his fingertips. "Fine then, guess I'll have to shock you, so then you'll tak!"
"I really don't know!" Lucas sighed as he was about to do it. "But please hear me out-"
"Go on..." Lucas pulled his hand back as he let him talk. "Alright, yes we were talking about that guy earlier, but the bastarad doesn't even give a care about us. Hell, even Talulah's power was influenced by her, along with Patriot too."
"Patriot? That's impossible, that old fart wouldn't pledge his trust too much except for Ch'en's sister." Lucas wondered despite that's not the answer he is looking for. It is still indeed valuable.
"But i do know of something about his next plan, he was planning to go back at the LGD, I don't know about the specific time and date, but he's planning something big."
"Noted..." Lucas said letting his collar go and breathes for a bit. "You said earlier, that bastard ain't payinh attention to you guys?"
"Yeah, like we're used as tools, what about it?" The union asked as the teen's blood boil. "Nothing, i guess it's time for your nap time."
Sooner as he said that, Lucas knocked him out-cold and started to treat the wound he inflicted with, he also left some LMD'S at the Union, and hidden him well, so as soon as he woke up, he wouldn't be found by some astray.
"Why let him live? I thought its for revenge."
Ghost showed himself as Lucas walks out the warehouse. "True it is for revenge, but it ain't my taste for other people to butt in."
"That's quite ironic since you dealt with the ones you butt in." Ghost pointed out as Lucas sighed at him in disbelief.
"It is because they are persistent, that they would fight for someone who's blinded by their ideal, an ideal that's farce and stupid."
"It's the misery that they chose not mine, the fact that union ratted out on him deserves mercy that's all."
Ghost laughs and pats the teen's shoulder. "You changed." "No... My eyes just opened, that's all." He corrected.
"I still treat the infected farily, and my sense of thinking are still with me."
"I already lost everything i had."
"Kid, you really need to tone it down a bit, you still haven't lost everything yet."
"Yeah like what?" Lucas raised his eyebrows and glared at Ghost.
"Like Ch'en."
Lucas clicked his tongue, and he remembers how he casted her aside despite that she just wanted to help.
The moment he lost Ch'en, when Yuuji was killed right in front of him.
And the young adult blames himself because of it.
"It is because of me, this thing, what I discovered." He observed his hand, and crackles electricity sparks. "Power, the fact that i learned when Wei and my grandpa used me as a subject for their experiments, a being beyond humans, a god."
He finds it a joke for him to be one. "Timewatch was right, i should have focused more in training instead of goofing around trying to fix this phobia of mine."
"And the fact that just being with Ch'en and the others scares me. It's like i am walking bomb waiting to detonate."
Ghost then picked something from his pocket and hands it to Lucas.
"Yuuji told me to give you this, so i think today is the time." A note and a key to some kind.
Lucas hesitantly opened the scrolled paper but soon breathes and read it.
"To Lucas my friend...
I already knew what will happen to me, my fate. Makeda has already saw the future back at Siesta, and told me this... At first it frightened, but as she explained the prophecy, i took heart and never walked back.
That's because she saw you grew strong, A new you, to see that crap lame teammate of mine strong, i knew it's my job to ensure that comes true. So don't be mad at her and remember that no matter the decisions you make, there's a purpose.
Oh and the treasure we found, i want you to have it, i left it at the LGD headquarters just for an occasion, and it seems you are the worthy one to use it.

"That guy..." Lucas smiled finishing reading of his friend's will. "I believe you know what you should do."
"I do, I shouldn't falter. Thanks for this Ghost."
"This is where we last meet, my brothers and sisters will find ways to end that cazzo (fuck) once and for all."
"Good luck to you all." Lucas steps back as Ghost nods, and tucks his hood tighter. "Safety and Peace Lucas." He said so and disappeared using his arts.
A day later
At Rhodes Island, Amiya just recieved a message from Ghost.
"Doctor, how are the preparations?"
"It's going good, the intel he gave are well matched, but we still have 3 more days until the rest of the operators are all gathered." Dr. Yumi replied as she sighed coming back from the control center.
Amiya had decided that they will launch an all out attack, but they have to wait for other operators who are their way back to the mother base.
"Seems like Ghost had it rough." Yumi said as Amiya nods. "Yes, he might be an easy going operator, but he's the second one who want this fight to end quickly."
"Who's the first one?" The doctor was curious as the rabbit looks down. "Timewatch."
Yumi gasped as she indeed remembered what her father said. To restore peace and harmony at Terra, to end the millennium war not only between the Infected, but to Sarkaz as well.
"It was 4 years ago, that he secretly showed himself to deliver a message regarding the continents of Terra of the infected situations."
"So that's why i haven't seen him since then, until we freed..." Yumi trailed off confused. "Err, father's other self."
"I'm with you that as well doctor." The cautus was also confused, until they heard a knock.
Dr. Yumi encouraged the visitor to enter, and it's none other than Skadi, the abyssal hunter. "Gladiia and Captain Ulpian are on their way."
"Good, with more hands this can dealt with. Once that's done, Ibeira will be our next priority." The doctor smiled relieved that the orca arrived safely.
"Thank you, Amiya... Doctor."
"We all have our roles to play, Miss Skadi, for now get some rest, in the next 2 days we will commence the operation."
Skadi nods then left the room as the scene changes to Ch'en and Leize who had recieved news from an informant after a clue has been deciphered.

Ch'en and the informant agreed to meet at the plaza.
"You're late..." Ch'en said as a hooded person suddenly appeared to her side while the lung's arms are on the handrails.
"Give me a break, Madam Ch'en." Ghost replied as he took his hood off showing his face to her.
"He will be there this night, guaranteed that he will be sneaking around the HQ."
"Lucas is very lucky eh?"
Ch'en giggled from Ghost words. "He can't do it alone, so that's why i called you." The operator scratches his head. "And i can't babysit him because i am too a mentor."
"Originally it is my job to look." He said a goodbye and went on disappearing from her sight.
"So got any info?" The kylin approached as she was enjoying a smoothie she bought.
"We are in luck, Looks like we located the bird's nest."
Leize tilted her head as she just cluelessly followed the lung and hopped on their mobile vehicle.
20:00
It was lights out for the LGD, and even though they are in curfew hours, the police in the department are just a few, since the others are on patrol.
A perfect time for our intruder to sneak in.
Lucas picks up the small treasuer box, and sets it down at a bench.
"Here goes nothing..." He pulls out the key and inserted it, unlocking the box.
"What the?"
He thought it's a memento for Yuuji's ancestor, but he gasped at the design of the artifact.
"A gun?"
A grosteque revolver, slowly he picks it up and inspected it closely, along with the manual.
"These are the weapons of what the hunters use at the sea. Simply by applying arts it will automatically reload a weapon.
Following what the instruction said. Yhe chamber opens, and his lighting formed into bullets instantly loading the revolver.
A weapon forged by the hunters to eliminate the abyss that are terrorising Terra with the help of the assassins.
"Darn it, I ain't worthy to use this but..." He remembered his friend's will, then smiled. "Thank you friend, I'll use it properly."
Holstering the gun at his hip, he stood up and left the locker room, once he was about to reach the exit, there... A lung with her arms crossed was standing there blocking the way.
"Lucas." Ch'en called as the young adult stares at her.
"Leize, you're here as well?" Lucas saw the kylin again as she nods. "We've been looking for you."
"Why? So you can force me back to work here under that bastard Wei, no chance."
"That's not the reason we're here for." Ch'en said as the man clicked his tongue.
"Then forget it, Ghost must have told you, don't do this, and leave me alone. That's all i ask."
"You haven't lost anything yet Lu..." The lung used his nickname trying to cheat her words into his heart.
"Easy for you to say, you still have your family, and even though your parted with your sister, she still loves you, the only thing i have is my old man, until he reached the ends of the terra."
"Why are you pushing yourself away? Why are you afraid!"
"I'm afraid because of me, my power! Why can't you understand!!!"
The rising intonation of his voice caused a sudden brownout, at the building.
Ch'en slowly walked forward as StormEye pulls his katana out.
"I'm warning you..."
"Then let's settle this with swordmanship."
It was at this moment Ch'en decided to use Chi Xiao, and indeed was drawn.
The sword has labeled Lucas as evil, the lung understood, but for the reason she doesn't know.
"Fine, don't blame me if some shit happens."
"Getting cocky Lucas, bit let's nor forget who has the most experience.
Sheathing back Chi Xiao, she bend down and put her hand on the hilt.
"That posture... Isn't that an Iaido stance?" Leize noticed as she had studied a bit of swordmanship as well.
It's just a simple battle, the two understand, the one who lands the first strike wins.
True indeed Ch'en was good at using swords, unlike Lucas, he has rely on his perceptive senses, such as the lung's movement.

Both of them dashed at the same time as Lucas put some momentum when...
A shadow flew past him as he glanced behind, she saw Ch'en drawing the red sword.
"Shit!" He cursed as he don't have much time to parry the blade when.
He blinks and he saw Ch'en was still standing there still on her stance.
"Shit, it's an illusion!" By the time he noticed, Ch'en ran forward startling Lucas.
"Hah!" The lung as she both grasped Lucas head instead of pulling her sword. To the sudden warmth of her hands, StormEye's head started to spin as the phobia started to act.

Though she knew what would happen, so Ch'en decided to headbutt as hard as she can, but she didn't check that something else would him as well.
I'm talking about her horns.
"Ow!" Her pair of horns stabbed his forehead adding additional damage.
"Why did you do that?" He fell down and groaned as the lung smiled and took something out from her jacket. "Take a look."
It was the same file that Leize gave her. Lucas hesitantly accepted but he had no choice to accept what Ch'en demands.
Once he flipped the folder open, his eyes read something that caught his interest.
That it didn't stop himself from it and after skimming for a second.
"Leize..." He looks up to the kylin, as she knelt down and had a teary smile. "I found you little brother."
"Sis?" A tear fell down from his eyes.
The file is none other than a DNA test.
Back in Rhodes Island, that was the favour she asked for Closure, to conduct a DNA test with her and Lucas.
Now it was confirmed. That he was her lost sibling. "You still have your sister." Ch'en voiced out as she turned around and let the two have a bit of reunion.
Little did Lucas know, Ch'en was jealous as he was finally reunited with his loved one.
"Talulah."
"When will i ever hold you again..."
