" Settle down please boys , I know you've all had a wild break but It's school time now and you have less than a year until you graduate " Mr . Murphy preached now settling the class .

Did they have to remind us every second of the day? School had already started three days ago but I've already heard that phrase like six times already .
" Now I know it's the first week but that doesn't mean anything, your year thirteen's so the whole easy first week doesn't apply for you "
That earned a groan from the whole class.

He spoke now directing his eyes towards me and for a second I wondered if I had done something wrong " Class presidents hand these out "

It's crazy how the last time we were asked to do this It seemed like I was only minutes from planning how to murder Josh but now It was different . I still wanted to kill him just not twenty four seven . I smiled to myself .
After handing out the worksheets Josh and I took our seats each taking one for ourselves .
Usually Josh would finish before me but today it was me therefore meaning I had won .
Reaching over I carefully tapped his shoulder and when I finally got his attention I lifted my paper , a triumphant smirk growing on my lips .
He simply responded by laughing with that charming toothy grin of his and motioning for me you come closer .
Skeptical, I glared at him as a sort of warning before I leaned in .
" OUCH " I winsed at the sudden flick that he had given me on my forehead .
" Are you alright Sir? " Mr .Murphy questioned with a concerned glare.
I quickly apologized and lowered my head .
" Dick " I muttered under my breath after looking at the suspect who was suddenly playing innocent .
It wasn't long before a crumbled up note appeared on my desk .
Opening the paper it read "sorry...Library lunch time? " with what I think was supposed to be a drawing of an apologetic face but it looked more like a bunch of lines to me .
Looking back over , he was already staring back with an expectant look and I sure didn't miss the opportunity to give a quick middle finger before throwing the paper right in his face .

12:04 p.m
It was currently lunch time and even though I hadn't given Josh a response I was already heading over to the library . It had become our little spot from his friends , especially since it was always empty .
Walking in , I headed straight to table we usually sat at ,it was seated at the back of the library in the corner .
He wasn't there so I automatically knew he probably got cought up by Kile and Maleek again , taking out my earphones I peacefully plugged them in and layed my head down on the cold surface .
" BOO "
I felt a sudden jerk on my shoulders causing me to jump up immediately .
" Ha , second time in one day , I'm on a roll " Josh sang as he pulled out the chair beside me and scooting it so that we were even closer .
" One ,we're in a library quiet down. Two, I swear if you do that one more time your gonna regret it Gallagher " I threatened staring him dead in the eyes .
" Shiver mi timbers " he pleaded pretending to be scared .
" Ok...then I guess you wouldn't mind if I did this? " I replied not moving an inch .
" Do what? " he challenged leaning closer.
" This " I declared elbowing him carefully but harsh enough that it would actually hurt right in his belly .
" Ah!...Sorry " I apologized leaning over .
" Did that catch you by surprise? ".
But he didn't reply , he was just bent over in the chair pretending as if I had just stabbed him .
" Aww I forgot you were so fragile , there, there " I nagged scooting closer and wrapping my hands around his torso pulling him in for a hug .
He didn't move and I took that as a indicator that he didn't want me to move either .
" This is nice " I knew he was smiling even though I couldn't see his face
" Maybe I should piss you off more often " he confessed earning another Jab from me .
" Oh " he suddenly jerked up " The student body team has to stay back to help set up for that stupid NGVTV association thing in the auditorium "
I sighed " What more do these people want from me "
" Nothing much.... just your smile and your will to live " he smiled

Looking down on my phone I realized we only had five minutes before lunch was over .
" We should probably get going , lunch is almost up " I announced putting up my phone.
" Let's go " I said dragging his hand when he refused to move but as soon we neared the exit I dropped it .... I had to .
4:01 p.m
" Did you tell Mrs Lucy you were going home late? " Josh asked as the both of us along with a few others swept the floor .
" Hmm , Did you tell Kile and Maleek?" I questioned back .
" Well technically ... I mean I sent them a message not too long ago, they haven't replied yet though "
" Ok , I'll give you a ride over then " I stopped as I had finally finished sweeping our section " Let's go get the streamers "
" We should wash our hands first " he suggested .
I agreed and we made our way out to the washing station .
" I want to go home and take a long hot bath " I complained
" You want a bath? " he smiled .
I knew that smile .
" Josh don't even- " I wanted to protest but before I could even finish my sentence , water was already dripping from my face .
" Ok " I laughed and before he could react I had already applied pressure the pipe causing a sprinkler to form, soaking both of us in the process .
Fighting his way over to me , he quickly reached for my hands restraining both of them from the pipe .
" Your gonna pay " he threatened .
" Shiver mi timbers " I mocked him .
Closing the gap , he pressed his lips against mine , It was gentle and sweet and I found myself kissing him back , our hands still entangled .

My heart sank as I processed what was happening but not as much as how it hurt when Josh suddenly pushed me .
He had pushed me so hard I fell back, landing straight on my back .
" What the actual fucking hell Josh? " the person repeated again .
It was Kile .....and next to him was Maleek.
He had a look of confusion ...sadness? fear? Whatever it was it wasn't good. Kile on the other hand was easy to make out , he looked absolutely disgusted .
" Is this what you stayed back to do? Play Frilly Fag w-with him ! "

" I knew it , I bloody knew something was off " He came closer to Josh " Is this what you wanted to tell us? Huh Josh? Is this what you were bloody hiding?! "

He looked as if he was about take a swing at Josh but Maleek placed a hand on his shoulder .
" Let's just go " he spoke , more of a whisper than anything " Let's go " .
Kile huffed and muttered something before storming off leaving us . Maleek following silently behind me.
Josh still hadn't moved or said anything .
Not even realizing I was still on the ground I pushed myself up and slowly made my way over to him . My heart was racing but I knew if I freaked out that would only worsen the situation
" Josh? are you- " I reached for his shoulder my hands unintentionally trembling but he slapped it away so fast I was pretty sure it would leave a bruise .
He looked pale , he looked as if he had just been shot .
" Don't touch me- " he spluttered out avoiding any eye contact .
" I mean- " he pulled at his hair " I'm sorry " and just like that ....he was gone . He left me there and I could feel the tears already forming but I didn't let them spill.
Sighing harshly , I buried my head in my hands " I fucking hate you sometimes Josh "
