"What are you doing again, Mrs. Vasiliev?"
"Ah!" I held my chest because of the irritation that I felt. Why does he always appear everytime I tried to sneak out of the room?
"Could you please stop appearing infront of me?!" I stomped my feet in annoyance and glared at him.
"Hmm, what do you want me to do then, Malysh? Appear beside you or appear above you?" he grinned.
I rolled my eyes on him and head back to my room. I badly want to escape! Someone is waiting for me to come back! My school is waiting for me too! I want to be a license lawyer!
"Ugh! That fucking jerk-"
"Calm yourself, Malysh." a devil whispered in my ear.
I closed my eyes tightly and blow a breath. What in the fucking world is he doing in my room? Again? I was about to shout at him again when he already walked towards the door.
"Lalabas na ako, don't worry. A woman on her period is so grumpy. Damn, I must prepare myself for you in the future." he closed the door after he said that. I irritatedly kicked the big door that is made of a thick thick wood. Ang ending? Sumakit ang paa ko.
It was already evening and I haven't seen Ven which is a very good news to me. I heard from Mariel that the Mansion will be busy tonight because there will be an important visitors. What if I'll sneak out? I'm sure they won't notice.
I was wearing the black high neck sheath dress that Ven gave me along with the other clothes. Nagbihis kasi ako kanina ng damit na nakakadaan ang hangin dahil feel ko ay kinakapos ako ng hininga. I hate myself when I am in my monthly period. It sucks.
Sinuot ko ang black na flat shoes na nakita ko sa isang kahon at dali-daling binuksan ang pinto. I peek outside to see if there is someone guarding me but there isn't. I whistled in relief.
Nang marating ko ang second floor ay kinabahan ako ng makitang ang daming tao sa baba.
I carefully walk downstairs, praying that they won't notice me. I bit my lip and continued walking until I reached the end of the huge stairs. I keep my composure and didn't mind the stares which came from a group of businessmen.
My clothes kind of blend in so they didn't suspect me as a prisoner lady from the 2nd floor. Luminga-linga ako sa paligid kung saan ang exit.. but was disrupted when a lady approach me.
"Hi, are you somewhat lost in here?" she smiled insultingly.
I almost rolled my eyes on her. Do I look lost? I am trying to escape bitch! But since she don't know that Ven the devil kidnapped me... I'll try to go with the flow na lang.
"Ah, no, love. I'm not lost." I look at her from head to toe and smiled fakely. From the look of it, she looks like an Italian. "E tu? Ti sei perso? You look like a lost girl."
Her smile disappeard and her face slowly crumpled. She force a smile. "I'm not lost, young lady. And do I look like a girl to you? I'm already 24-"
"Oh my, you are already 24?" I faked a gasped. "That's bad.. you're growing old but your height didn't." I flashed a smile and walk passed her. She looks irritated and annoyed.
I refrained myself from running when I saw the exit, which is the huge huge door. I calm myself and continued walking. When I am almost at the door, a man towered me. Napa-atras ako nang makita kung sino 'yon.
"Are you trying to escape again, Malysh?" his voice sounds mad or something.
Naging malikot ang mga mata ko, nag-iisip kung ano ang gagawin ko, ano ang isasagot ko, at kung paano ako makakatakas kung ngayon ay nakita niya ako.
"Um, are you mad?" I gulped and smiled a bit to ease my nervousness. I just hope that he won't kill me just because I've done something that he don't like.
He stared at me for a minute and looked away. He brushed his hair and shook his head.
"No... I mean, yes. I am mad. Why wouldn't I be mad if you are trying to escape again? You are gonna leave me." he walk closely and snake his arms around my waist. "So behave if you don't want to me bite you."
Nagpatangay ako sa kaniya na medyo naguguluhan. Is he a lion now? A tiger? Why would he bite me? Ah, maybe.. he is just joking, right? 'Di ba? Because of the thoughts that is running through my head, I did not notice that we've stopped near a group of people, which I am not familiar with.
"Uy, nandito na si Zeji! Hoy mga gago nandito na siya." halos tumalon na ang lalaki dahil nandito na si Ven. I tilt my head towards the direction of the big door but Ven's arms around my waist got tighter.
I gulped nervously. "They are?"
"My childhood friends.. along with Shaddai. They are a bunch of weirdos and jerks." he seriously answered.
"Zeji my friend!" the guy smiled. The other guy kicked his leg and laugh.
"You sounded like an old businessman. Shut up." he laughed again.
I awkwardly grip Ven's tuxedo when the guy's landed their gaze on me. They look surprise when they saw me. Kumurap-kurap pa sila na parang hindi makapaniwala.
"Uh.. are they supposed to do that?" I tilt my head to see his face. His eyebrows are furrowed and his jaw is clenching. What is his problem? Galit pa rin ba siya? I hope not.
"Stop staring at her you idiots. You're scaring her." his voice is calm but authorative.
Tumikhim sila at nag-iwas ng tingin. A guy walk towards Ven and tap his shoulder. Ven nodded and tap his shoulder too.
The guy's invited us to sit near them. Maybe they'll have a reunion or something. But it was kind of uncomfortable when they sometimes look at me with so much surprise. Do they know me? Do I know them?
A few minutes later, Shigure-san arrived. The guy's greeted him with hugs and kisses, which made Shigure-san disgusted.
"Ew. Get off of me. Yuck. Don't come near me you disgusting creature." he pushed them away. "Hoy, Master! Tulungan mo ako dito. Leche. Shoo. Ew! Sera-chan help.."
"Hi, Zeji!"
Automatic na tumaas ang kilay ko nang marinig ang pamilyar na boses. 'Yon nga lang ay mas pinaipit pa niya ang boses niya na mas lalong nagpa-irita sa akin. Why in the world is this bitch doing in here?
"Scarlet." Ven replied.
The Scarlet girl smiled and look at me. She looks surprise to see me, especially that Ven's one arm is on my waist. Was it surprising? Her smile faded. She probably remembered me, eh? She forced a smile and walk closer to Ven.
I almost rolled my eyes. Alam ko na ang mga galawan nito, ah. Babaeng pinaglihi sa kalan. Kalandian!
"Oh, who is she? Your bitch-"
"My wife. Selene Raith Mercedes-Vasiliev." his said loudly. I bit my lip when everyone gone silent after hearing what he said.
Wife? When did we get married? Bakit hindi ako na-inform? What place? What time? Is he crazy? Sinubukan kong alisin ang braso niya ngunit hindi ko maalis. Mas lalo lang niyang hinigpitan!
The ladies dramatically gasped. Some of the other businessmen looks disappointed maybe because Ven is already married? Or because I am already married? Which one?They look like they lost a trillion money.
"What the hell are you talking about, you jerk? We are not married and I'm not gonna married to you." I whispered silently.
He chuckled and smirked. "Hindi pa tayo kasal dahil magpapakasal pa tayo. Now behave."
"A Mercedes? Siya ba 'yong nawawala? So you are the one who kidnapped her-"
"Sige na, Miss Scarleta. Layas na." putol sa kaniya ni Shigure. Bago pa makasagot ang babae ay agad na siyang kinaladkad ni Shigure. Well, I hope she's gonna be fine.
"I'll leave you for a bit, hmm?" he kissed my cheeks. Because of the irritation I felt, I brushed his kiss away. "Ne day yey sbezhať, Human."
Human? Is that supposed to be me? Natural naman talaga na tao ako, ah.
"Roger, bro." the always smiling guy said.
Huh? My face is filled with confusion. The other guy chuckled when he saw my face.
"Don't be puzzled, Mrs. Vasiliev. His name is Human Isai Viernes.. a.k.a HIV. And yes I know it's weird."
"I'm not married to him-"
"As long as you are with him. You are already bound to him. And before I go, I want to introduce myself." he slightly bowed like a gentleman. "I'm Gerasim Kolsrud..."
After that, he left.
