Y/n's POV
Play Intermition
"I can't believe the playwrite thinks I'm an idiot who tells bad meat jokes all the time!" Sokka complained, eating a bag of fire flakes.
"Yeah, you tell bad jokes about plenty of other topics." Suki teased.
"I know!" Sokka said, his voice cracking.
"At least your actor looks like you!" Aang whined.
"At least you guys are in the play!" I said. "Where the heck am I? It's like I don't even exist! I was there for the North Pole, too!"
The others began laughing.
"Maybe you'll show up during the second part." Zuko said, wrapping an arm around me.
"I hope so." I muttered.
"I think the play is starting again." Aang said, standing up.
We nodded and followed him into the theater.
In The Theater
"Wait, am I being played by a guy?" Toph asked. "That's amazing!" She grinned.
"Of course you'd be thrilled about that, Toph." I said, snickering.
Zuko's hand moved to hold mine, our fingers entwining.
I smiled, staring at our hands.
"Azula! What are you doing here?" Stage-Zuko said.
"You caught me." Stage-Azula said, raising her hands into the air.
"Wait, please!" A female voice said.
Wait, that didn't sound like Stage-Katara.
I looked back up at the play, my eyes widening.
"Is that supposed to be me?" I whisper-yelled at the group. "Why is my actor so freakishly tall?"
"Azula, please, don't go!" Stage-Y/n pleaded.
I frowned.
"Why am I begging Azula to stay?" I mumbled.
"Wait, what's that?" Stage-Azula asked, pointing into the air. "I think it's your honor!"
"Where?" Stage-Zuko asked as the stage actors turned around, allowing Stage-Azula to escape through a hidden door.
"She escaped!" Stage-Katara said, amazed.
"No..." Stage-Y/n said. "Why would she leave me?"
"Okay, who the heck wrote this? WHERE did their information come from?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
The scene changed to underground.
"Wait, did Jet just die?" Zuko asked.
"Is Jet actually dead?" I asked, leaning forward to talk to the group.
"You know, it was really unclear." Sokka shrugged.
"I didn't know you guys knew Jet." Katara said.
I shrugged.
"Briefly. He trashed the tea place we worked in." I replied.
"I have to admit, Prince Zuko, I really find you attractive." Stage-Katara said.
My eyebrow raised as I looked at Katara, then Zuko, then back at the stage.
"You don't have to make fun of me!" Stage-Zuko shouted.
"But I mean it." Stage-Katara said, sitting next to him. "I've had eyes for you since the day you first captured me."
"What the hell?" I muttered, slouching.
"Wait!" Stage-Zuko said, standing up. "I thought you were the Avatar's girl."
Stage-Katara laughed.
"The Avatar?" She said. "Why, he's like a little brother to me!" She laughed again. "I certainly don't think of him in a romantic way."
She walked close to Stage-Zuko.
"Besides," She began, "How could he ever find out about...this?"
The two then hugged, romantic music playing.
I stood up.
"Where are you going?" Zuko asked me.
"Air." I said, walking away.
Coincidently, so was Aang.
